Cozy place especially on weekends, although it is only open until 5pm and closed on Sundays. The vibe is different from the nearby Starbucks, so if you want a nice place to study or work while having good food, Crepe Amelie is an excellent choice. Serving of pasta and my friend's tuna melt sandwich are huge, and can be shared if you're not really hungry. The banoffee crepe was delicious as well. Plus points for the awesome interior!

Back to this IG- worthy place in Makati, two Saturdays ago. The dim lighting and rustic details are totally awesome. Nice place to start the day.

We tried another meals in their All-day breakfast list:

Spanish Omelette, (P280) breakfast sausage, bacon slices, tomato belle pepper and paprika. On the side, served toast and salad.- for me its good, though the sauce is too overpowering that I can't taste what is in it. Their salad is simple yet tasty, it has lettuce and slice of tomato with asian dressing(roasted sesame+ soy sauce)

Breakfast Quesadilla (P250) mushroom, bell pepper, bacon, onion with mozarella and cheddar, with beans- serve as it is! Its one heavy meal. This one was ordered by my bf. Got to taste a piece of it and its like a 2 thumbs up! The cheese are so beautiful when sliced.

Coffee- one of the cup of Cappuccino128523 I had.

Verdict: reasonably priced- you get the quality of food. Plus the ambiance is so noteworthy

Aside from serving good dinner n desserts crepes this place serves good shrimp red pasta, coupled with late closing time, cozy atmosphere and cheaper than the usual crepe cake this place easily deserves 4 stars.

Jayson J and Sandy P was raving about the crepe of this place everytime a discussion about dessert is brought up.

Crepe Amelie branch here in Valero Makati is so homey. I love the decors of the place. The floor tiles were also lovely.

Me and my friends tried out their Mango Samurai Crepe. Its a crepe version of a mango graham cake. I love the thin perfect texture of the crepe. The mango they used was also fresh and tasted deliciouy sweet. Overall I love this crepe and honestly one of the better crepe that I've tried. 128522128077🏻

This is such a good place! Head over here for good ambience and food! Thanks for the recommendations, i really enjoyed my stay here

The background music was classical. Though i feel like kailangan pa ng maraming sunlight na pumapasok sa loob ng venue. I really like it's soft cushion where we sat. The rest were wooden already. There's no power outlet though.

"Hi guys, we're now at crepe amelie where i ordered their dessert crepe called 'Suzette' and i'm gonna teach you how to pronounce its ingredients: fresh orange juice, citrus zest, and grand marnier [grahn mar-NYAY]" lol.
I love this orange dessert crepe! It's not so sour as you would expect of an orange flavored dessert, but it's a little bitter which just makes the dessert dish out if the ordinary. It also got sweet candied orange zest at the sides!

Sandy P got this and i love it too! PBJ tasting millicrepe. I havent tried papermoon yet but sabi nila mas masarap pa ito.

I love Patrick V's order of bacon and eggs as well. I love the garlic mayo dip. 128525

The service was a tad slow that time but it was just fun.
Free water. Lol. Wifi as well. There's a nice comfort room opposite the counter. Will go back once i have free time. Good for breakfasts! They open 8am

As part of our monthly catch-up dinner, my friend and I decided to try Crepe Amelie. I have read quite a bit about the place so even if it was my first time going there, I had more or less set my expectations already. Also, whenever I would pass by during lunch time, the place is packed so I was curious. We went on an all-crepe set since it was also our first time trying out savory crepes. Also, the after office hours around 5:30-6 is a good time to go since it was not crowded anymore.

Here are the items we tried.

1. Crepe Marguerite - This was our favorite out of everything we ordered. It was also the cheapest at Php 190. Most crepes would just be around 200-250 so generally, the price was reasonable.

What I loved about this crepe was the combination of flavors. It was kind of a pizza crepe but I liked how the cheese, tomato, and basil did not over power the crepe itself. Itbreally blended well. This simple dish executed really well wins.

2. Strawberry crepe cake - We were actually planning to get the matcha flavor but it was not available day so we opted to get strawberries and cream. This meets expectations. It's light and flavorful. This can appeal to a sweets person as well as those not really into sweets.

3. Mango Chocolate - This is mediocre. Maybe because I had high expectations, but this didn't wow me at all. For a chocolate lover, I even enjoyed the strawberry crepe cake more than this. It wasn't that bad but certainly not worth my money.

4. Shrimp Mornay - I have mixed feelings about this. I think the main issue is that the flavor was too strong for the crepe. It ended up being too "nakakaumay". I guess I would have loved this if it was served as a pasta (with added spiciness) rather than a savory crepe.

All in all I would go back just for the Crepe Marguerite and ambiance. I'm still curious about the matcha cake so I think I'll give it a try next time too.

Weekend breakfast will always be special whenever my bf surprises me of a new place. Upon entering, the alfresco has this garden feels. Fresh ambiance and walls adorned by decors and plants.

As I enter the place, its noticeable that it has simple yet have intricate spaces. Some portion has plain walls while there are some that are brick. Decors are so adorable. Lighting is good also.

Servers are good to ask for recommendations, if you're a newbie.

We had:
BLT & Bacon (P260) crispy bacon slices, tomatoe and lettuce slices on the side, sunny side up egg with grated chees on top and toast- CLASSIC, i miss bacon 128055 so much, so even if this meal is ordinary, I enjoyed it much! Up to the last bite. Warning: quite big!

Cheese Steak Omelette (P300) steak! Melted mozarella, red & green bell pepper, caramelize onion- my companion's order, was able to taste 3/4 of his meal hehehe! This is good! Steak bits are good with the melted mozarella. I wish i added pepper.

Espresso Latte (P300)- its has a shot of espresso + steamed milk. Its quite "bitin" and since it has milk, its a not hot when i drink it.

Pink Lemonade (140)- didn't get to taste but my companion enjoys this one.

Long Black (P100)- brewed coffee! Happy cup, after my "bitin" moment. Drank it when i'm having our dessert. Perfect!

Banana PB & Nutella (P270) hazelnut spread, - you'll never go wrong with this combo127820

Verdict:
Food- everything is good and has reasonable price
Place- it looks fresh. Feels fresh to be here esp in the morning
Service- food are served just few mins of ordering. Its a quick one i should say.

And im back at reviewing! Huhuuu! It's been a long time. Anyway, I was able to try this new cozy resto near my office. I've been seeing this one even during its construction days. And finally, they're open!

They are known for their crepes as the name itself but they also have other dishes: pasta, salad, all day breakfast and sandwiches.

What we ordered:
•Shrimp Aglio Olio - P250, this is so good! It's one of their best sellers
•Basil Pesto Chicken - P260, just a normal pesto pasta, nothing really special
•Chicken Caesar Sandwich - P210 this is also recommended! It has chips on the side and the chicken is really tasty. You can actually have it for sharing
•Chicken Caesar Salad - P220, I like this too because it has bacon bits! Baaacoooon is life 🥓 🤣

Drinks:
•Pink lemonade - P120
•Cucumber Apple Mint -P120

My favorite part:
•Strawberry Crepe Cake- I died!!!! 🤤128557 It's like heaven on earth! It was sooooo goood that I still can taste it. Lol. It's P200/ slice and P1800 whole cake

I love the ambience of the resto, very cozy! But during lunch time it's jam-packed so better if you get a reservation ahead of time.

First time to try other things on their menu.

Shrimp Aglio Olio was okay.
The Roast Beef was just sad.

Carbonara was good.

Mango Chocolate Crepe, still amazing!

Crepes just make people happy. May it be sweet or savory, it's just gonna put you on a happy mood. 127774

I had their Chicken Fajita and Espresso Milkshake that day. The savory crepe was filling and rightly spiced. I liked the paired mango salsa with it. The shake had some buzz but could be more of a coffee milkshake. Still a goodie! My friends had their Oriental Shrimp Salad and Mango Crepe. Both were good accdg. to them! Picture perfect 📸

Few months ago, ive been wondering what resto will replace 7-11 besides my fav milk tea shop since theres alot of construction going on. So when i went back earlier this week for a cup of milk tea, i noticed this place and went inside. The interiors were nice, it was a relax and old homey feel just like mary grace that wasnt too cramped. AND the crepe cakes were tempting. So going back is a must.

So we went back here tonight after a hard fought bball, i convinced my makati bound teamates to try it out here, ehmm, maybe i shouldn't 128539 not the type of food for a bunch of hungry souls and the place is not suited for an all guys dinner. Haha.

Going on, their shrimp aglio olio pasta was really good. 128077128076128079

Pesto was okay, they didnt lack on the ingredients. 128076

Crepe cake here i think was a tad cheaper than paper moon and though theres matcha flavor i went for strawberry fields since this looks so tempting and it was good. It like the usual paper moon crepe cake.

Mango samurai crepe cake was really good. The plate was really heavy though. What i like here was the crepe is a little crispy and with mangoes it wasnt too sweet.

Ill definitely be back. But i hope theyll have the bill settled afterwards rather than going to the counter first and pay.

A new cafe/dessert place located at Valero and Rufino street in Makati City. This place is pretty easy to find because of its attractive and well lighted exterior.

My first visit here was on a lunch time but we were not able to proceed as it was very packed. We were in a hurry during that friday lunch and waiting is not an option.

My second time was dinner after work on a weekday. This was more feasible compared to my friday lunch attempt. There are vacant seats but all of their dessert at the counter was unavailable already. Only empty trays was left of it. To order you have to fall in line at the counter and pay there.

Teemee T and I ordered the ff:
128073 Basil Pesto Chicken - i liked this it has a lot of basil which is the type of pesto that I like. Although the chicken was not very tender but it was tasty. The serving size didn't look too big because the pasta was twisted when it was served. Serving size is good for 1 pax.

128073 Mango Samurai - the mangoes were not very sweet, but generous serving amount. The size of the crepe was ok, 2 of us shared the crepe. The crepe had a mix of dulce de leche cream, a vanilla ice cream scoop and a whip cream on the side. The crepe wrapper was not thin, it was a bit thick. I think eating this alone if you are not a fan of sweets could be overwhelming.

The cafe doesn't only serve crepes and pasta. They also serve all day breakfast meals and sandwiches. Btw they have 2 types of crepes - the dessert crepes and the savory crepes, they even have crepe cakes.

I think this place is a bit pricey while the interior is pretty cozy, a bit noisy (i think the sound echoes around) and is dim lighted. Service can still be improved.

Crepe Amelie was still on soft opening when we went but the service was already good. The place was nice and had a very homey vibe.

A little pricey but food quality is really good.

🔹BLT & Egg. For this breakfast dish, you can choose to have it served with crepe or toast. I chose crepe and it was good. Bacon slices were really crispy.

🔹Shrimp Aglio Olio. It's difficult to review a simple dish but their aglio olio is really delicious. The taste and amount of garlic was just right.

🔹Crepe Madame. Another breakfast dish. It has ham, poached egg, tomato, mushroom, onion, emmental cheese. You can choose to have it with toast or crepe. This was good.

🔹Mousse Au Chocolat. Before noon, the other crepe cake flavors were not available. Settled with this one and it was soooo good! Soft, moist, chocolatey, not too sweet. I loved it.

With the hight quality of food and service we experienced, I think this place is very much underrated. Crepe Amelie is waaayyyyy better than the competition.

If you're going on a weekday, I suggest getting there before noon as it gets packed during lunch break.

It may be pricey to eat here but I think the taste is worth it! For the food, at least. 128517 We had Spanish Omelette (P260) and BLT & Egg (P240) for a late breakfast and shared our coffee dessert in Espresso Milkshake (P170).

The milkshake was a letdown. I was expecting to get a punch from the espresso but it honestly just tasted like 3 in 1. Not even a hint of creaminess from the ice cream. Booooo!! 128530

BUT I 128156128155128154128153 our breakfast! Each plate is well put together; not just the presentation but also the combination of flavors. The Thousand Island dressing balanced the saltiness of bacon in BLT & Egg. The toasted foccacia bread and the side lettuce with balsamic vinegar does the same in the Spanish Omelette. Their portions are huge too; one order can be shared by two. Food-wise I want to taste more from their menu! 128077128523

You know what's the formula for a good time? That's good food plus great friends! Newly opened, this branch is enticing with cozy interiors and various selections of crepes, salads, sandwiches, and drinks. I tried their Chicken Fajita Crepe to-go once and it didn't disappoint. While during my first dine in, I got the Shrimp Salad which was healthy, savory, and filling - which is super awesome! The Long Black is a bit bitter for my taste but it ain't so bad. Overall, I think this place could be a nice venue for small meetings or solo away-from-office afternoon work or just some coffee catch-up session with your BFFs.
