Crepes just make people happy. May it be sweet or savory, it's just gonna put you on a happy mood.
I had their Chicken Fajita and Espresso Milkshake that day. The savory crepe was filling and rightly spiced. I liked the paired mango salsa with it. The shake had some buzz but could be more of a coffee milkshake. Still a goodie! My friends had their Oriental Shrimp Salad and Mango Crepe. Both were good accdg. to them! Picture perfect 📸

Few months ago, ive been wondering what resto will replace 7-11 besides my fav milk tea shop since theres alot of construction going on. So when i went back earlier this week for a cup of milk tea, i noticed this place and went inside. The interiors were nice, it was a relax and old homey feel just like mary grace that wasnt too cramped. AND the crepe cakes were tempting. So going back is a must.
So we went back here tonight after a hard fought bball, i convinced my makati bound teamates to try it out here, ehmm, maybe i shouldn't not the type of food for a bunch of hungry souls and the place is not suited for an all guys dinner. Haha.
Going on, their shrimp aglio olio pasta was really good.
Pesto was okay, they didnt lack on the ingredients.
Crepe cake here i think was a tad cheaper than paper moon and though theres matcha flavor i went for strawberry fields since this looks so tempting and it was good. It like the usual paper moon crepe cake.
Mango samurai crepe cake was really good. The plate was really heavy though. What i like here was the crepe is a little crispy and with mangoes it wasnt too sweet.
Ill definitely be back. But i hope theyll have the bill settled afterwards rather than going to the counter first and pay.

A new cafe/dessert place located at Valero and Rufino street in Makati City. This place is pretty easy to find because of its attractive and well lighted exterior.
My first visit here was on a lunch time but we were not able to proceed as it was very packed. We were in a hurry during that friday lunch and waiting is not an option.
My second time was dinner after work on a weekday. This was more feasible compared to my friday lunch attempt. There are vacant seats but all of their dessert at the counter was unavailable already. Only empty trays was left of it. To order you have to fall in line at the counter and pay there.
Teemee T and I ordered the ff:
Basil Pesto Chicken - i liked this it has a lot of basil which is the type of pesto that I like. Although the chicken was not very tender but it was tasty. The serving size didn't look too big because the pasta was twisted when it was served. Serving size is good for 1 pax.
Mango Samurai - the mangoes were not very sweet, but generous serving amount. The size of the crepe was ok, 2 of us shared the crepe. The crepe had a mix of dulce de leche cream, a vanilla ice cream scoop and a whip cream on the side. The crepe wrapper was not thin, it was a bit thick. I think eating this alone if you are not a fan of sweets could be overwhelming.
The cafe doesn't only serve crepes and pasta. They also serve all day breakfast meals and sandwiches. Btw they have 2 types of crepes - the dessert crepes and the savory crepes, they even have crepe cakes.
I think this place is a bit pricey while the interior is pretty cozy, a bit noisy (i think the sound echoes around) and is dim lighted. Service can still be improved.

Crepe Amelie was still on soft opening when we went but the service was already good. The place was nice and had a very homey vibe.
A little pricey but food quality is really good.
🔹BLT & Egg. For this breakfast dish, you can choose to have it served with crepe or toast. I chose crepe and it was good. Bacon slices were really crispy.
🔹Shrimp Aglio Olio. It's difficult to review a simple dish but their aglio olio is really delicious. The taste and amount of garlic was just right.
🔹Crepe Madame. Another breakfast dish. It has ham, poached egg, tomato, mushroom, onion, emmental cheese. You can choose to have it with toast or crepe. This was good.
🔹Mousse Au Chocolat. Before noon, the other crepe cake flavors were not available. Settled with this one and it was soooo good! Soft, moist, chocolatey, not too sweet. I loved it.
With the hight quality of food and service we experienced, I think this place is very much underrated. Crepe Amelie is waaayyyyy better than the competition.
If you're going on a weekday, I suggest getting there before noon as it gets packed during lunch break.

It may be pricey to eat here but I think the taste is worth it! For the food, at least. We had Spanish Omelette (P260) and BLT & Egg (P240) for a late breakfast and shared our coffee dessert in Espresso Milkshake (P170).
The milkshake was a letdown. I was expecting to get a punch from the espresso but it honestly just tasted like 3 in 1. Not even a hint of creaminess from the ice cream. Booooo!!
BUT I our breakfast! Each plate is well put together; not just the presentation but also the combination of flavors. The Thousand Island dressing balanced the saltiness of bacon in BLT & Egg. The toasted foccacia bread and the side lettuce with balsamic vinegar does the same in the Spanish Omelette. Their portions are huge too; one order can be shared by two. Food-wise I want to taste more from their menu!

You know what's the formula for a good time? That's good food plus great friends! Newly opened, this branch is enticing with cozy interiors and various selections of crepes, salads, sandwiches, and drinks. I tried their Chicken Fajita Crepe to-go once and it didn't disappoint. While during my first dine in, I got the Shrimp Salad which was healthy, savory, and filling - which is super awesome! The Long Black is a bit bitter for my taste but it ain't so bad. Overall, I think this place could be a nice venue for small meetings or solo away-from-office afternoon work or just some coffee catch-up session with your BFFs.
