This is my all-time favorite restaurant that I always fail to review out of excitement. Whenever I remember to post a review, all of the food has been consumed so it is not as instagrammable anymore. This always happens to me at my fave restos. Anyways, I order Sinigang na Pampano sa Bayabas every single time. I think they call it Sinigang Mestizo. I love it so much and I always ask for patis even if it doesn’t really need any condiment since it is already very tasty by itself. I just like patis with any soup dish. If you are not a fan of fish or sinigang, the more you need to try this. It costs around Php650.00. The fish is normally cut into three pieces -head, belly and tail; and can be shared by two to three persons. This is definitely a must try. Our Thai and French guests loved it.💯

Another thing, we can’t possibly miss is their very crispy Chicharong Bulaklak. It always came first as appetizer but I like it more with kanin. 127834

I have already tried everything in their menu from Callos to Kare Kare to Chicken Isaw to Fried Catfish to Squid Adobo to Pinakbet as in everything. I really love everything except for their Fried Chicken. It is not bad either but I don’t really recommend it because I think it is too dry inside out. So I suggest that you stay away from any of their fried chicken dish and try something else. McDonalds is on the 4th floor if you really want fried chicken.

They charge 10% for service.

I still recommend Crisostomo because 99% of their food is great and their service is great too. Their food is always cooked with fresh ingredients. Like one time, they didn’t accept our order “Sinigang Mestizo’” because according to them, the fish isnt good Servers and receptionists are tidy in their uniforms, attentive and friendly. They have their own restroom which is clean most of the time.

A place where you can have authentic Filipino food. Love their lechon kawali, adobong pusit, inihaw na pusit, tortang talong and karekare. Always a long wait outside, but they can get your order while you wait.

Food was really great. Everything's a favorite. We were able to have a satisfying feast. Quite steep for the price though, but if you're looking for ambiance, service and good food. This is a place for you. 128522

Lechon Kawali and Sinigang na Baboy

The best lechon kawali and sinigang I ever tasted.

Very accommodating crew and they greeted us with a smile. It's like you are being welcomed to your home.

Superb service!

Crisostomo's Pilosopong Pinakbet (Assorted Native Vegetables with Lechon Kawali Chips)

Perfect sa alamang bagoong. Lasang kare-kare kaya siguro tinawag na "pilosopo" 128522 lechon kawali chips is very crispy.

Modernized filipino cuisine. The owner of this resto is just brilliant i must say. They have created a unique taste in every filipino dish they are serving. The way it was served and prepared is so contemporary as well.

*Bagumbayan Lechon - at 285. Less greasy and crispy. Chicharon redefined lol128060. This is good. It's like eating chips. The slices were thin and well cooked so you wont think for a second you are eating "putok batok" recipe hehehe128526.

*Emilio (beef roulade) - at 395. The sauce was so thick, so perfect with rice. The saltiness of the recipe was quite much though. The beef morcon was tender and easy to chew. One of their bestsellers128526.

*La Paz Bulalo - at 595. The soup was good and the bulalo was cooked right. I didnt taste any MSG like other restos usualy add.

Crisostomo is a resto that would make you appreciate our own filipino dishes. It's nice to have these types of restos that appreciate and continously preserve filipino cuisine. Good job crisostomo 128526.

Went to the branch along Macapagal. I think the area is still called Blue Bay Walk, if I'm not mistaken. We were a group of 20, combination of adults and kids. While ordering random stuff, our server highly recommended their grilled tuna belly, which had no indicated price on the menu. And since it was never a practice of ours to ask actual prices of our food, we went ahead with ordering and took his advice. My mom said, "Ok, give us 2 orders of the medium-sized tuna." Not a bit of heads up or even a hint of warning from the waiter that the serving size would be too much for our group. So after a while, our orders came and aside from the tuna being big for all of us (Not big enough to cost a few thousand pesos, though!), we received our food bill with a total amount of 17 freaking thousand! Only to find out later on that the tuna each cost 3.5k! It was such a rip off! Who would've thought that an order of grilled tuna would cost that much, even more expensive than their lechon! What's worse is that their food is not even amazing! Not even close to being extraordinary, if I may say. I would choose Abe over them in a heartbeat.

"Turn of the Century Filipino Dining" indeed! 128513 Super delish Filipino food!! 128077 High quality ingredients that'll make you wow!!

As expected the house were full coz its a weekend and its not surprising that even on weekdays they're still full why? Coz they offer authentic Filipino cuisine. 128522

What we had when we were finally on our spots first, Paborito ng Katipunero - molo soup very tasty and yummy!! Next, Sinang con Laing - basically gabi leaves with coconut cream sauce it was very delicious and a bit spicy too!! Emilio - beef morcon with tomato sauce very chunky and delish!! Then lastly, for pur rice we had their Tinapa and Salted Egg smokey flavor coz of the tinapa which is good!! For our drinks, what I had was their Ginumis- taste was somehow similar to a Sago't Gulaman then The Choco Mani Shake for my sister I'm not really a fan of peanuts but this drink is great! 128513

Service was great very warm and courteous crews. 128522 The place has really a Filipino vibe which I loved! 128149

I'm really curious why cirsostomo in rw is always full? Seriously even in weekdays (like wed.. Tues) maybe this is the best branch of crisostomo? Well anyways, you can't go wrong with filipino dishes especially when you are with foreigners.. They love the food, i also like it, crispy pata, sisig, sinampalukan something, kare kare (3.5/5), sinugba, and dessert (mango something cake and suman with chocolate).

Nothing special here except the name of their food. It's derived frm the cast of Jose Rizal's famous books' cast; Noli Me Tangere and El Fili. Very Filipino. Haha!
Baked Mussels and Pinakbet are a bit salty. Loved their Crispy Pata tho. It's really crunchy! Haha
Staff are approachable din naman! We weren't able to try their famous sorbetes so we'll definitely come back for that! 128077🏻

Crisostomo showcases Filipino food with a twist. We tried their Simon (Seafood Kare kare), Salome's Secret (Binusog na Pusit) and Antonio (Grilled Maine Lobster).

We did enjoy every food that was served to us. They are all interesting. I love the peanut taste of their Kare-kare and the tender pusit! Though, I find the lobster a bit rubbery and bland. 128554 We wished that we didn't order their lobster. It's way too expensive and it wasn't cooked properly.

Pros:
I guess this resto is perfect for our balikbayans or those who want to satisfy their pinoy cravings. Love that they tried to execute the dishes with a twist! The service was just ok.

Cons:
A bit pricey compared to other Filipino Restaurants. Avoid the lobster!

Bottomline: It's not bad but it's not great either. Hence, the three stars.

One of descent places you could dine in resorts world. Comfort filipino food. I'm a little blunt eater so i always ask my food - less salt, which they did.
