Liked all the food we ordered - mushroom soup, braised Beef shank, Tomahawk pork chop, salmon salad, creamy bacon and shrimp pasta, strawberry pavlova and chocolate cake. All good! Will definitely go back to try the other dishes.

There's this quaint little cafe that greets you right as you go up the ground floor escalator at Madison Galeries. That's Crostatina! The homey and minimalist vibe sort of draws you in out of curiosity. Entered to find out they specialize in baked goodies and desserts, with an interesting dine in menu.

We ordered almost everything on the menu, tapos "share share, tikim tikim" haha! Tipid tip #1 if you want to try everything on the menu: go in a group or with your family, order something different (no duplicates!), and share! 128517

The soups were fantastic. I'm biased towards mushroom soup but their light cabbage and bacon broth was just as delightful. Loved the parmesan crisp that came with it, i could munch on those all day haha.

The salmon salad was also good, and came with a sour and citrusy dressing that complemented the ingredients. The mains were full of flavor such as their osso buco (mouthwatering), fried chicken, and pork chop, but the sides for me such as the risotto and mashed potato were a little bland and needed a stronger kick to better match up with the meat. Noticed that everything was so flowery too! Literally! They put edible flowers on everything... but hey i'm not complaining, the plating makes for good IG posts. 128517

For dessert we had the strawberry pavlova and chocolate tart. The pavlova was the winner here for me. Fresh strawberry bits beautifully crowning a mound of crisp meringue crust thats hard on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside!

I'd come back here for the desserts and to try more of their pastries. I do hope they make just as awesome chocolate chip cookies too... i've got my 128064 on them!
