Ordered their best seller Baby back ribs and it made my day! You should order this food. Very soft with delicious barbeque sauce. The price is worth for its taste and serving. The place is nice and calm. I will definitely come back to this place.

Ordered half baby back rib and there is an after taste that will stay in the tongue or mouth. Sorry to say it but it taste like thinner , the one used in carpentry. Hope you will improve it or better have a taste of it. Hope you are not using it as preservative.

Ambiance is cozy. Love their bacon slab, bursting smoky flavor. However, the wet baby back ribs was meh. It has a weird after taste that stings (like paint thinner!). This is not the first time we ordered the baby back ribs. Previously, we ordered the dry baby back ribs and it was awful. We thought of giving a second chance now but still 128078.

I just love this place 10084
This time, got to try their Garlic Beer Dip with sweet potato chips, just ok for me - I prefer their Queso Skillet better.

Plus staples like Chicken Wings (which was really yummy with the right amount of honey drizzled on top) and She crab soup (i felt it was really watery this time 128532 and less flavorful)

Would love to come back again and maybe stick to some of my tried and tested favorites 9786

Service is ok. Had to call the waiter for few follow ups. Food is delicious but pricey. Servings are small.

Place is small too. I imagine it crammed when all tables are taken.

You can try if you havent yet. But not somewhere I would visit again.

[Disclaimer: Late post.]

Last Thursday was a breath of fresh air. I was almost out the whole day as I had a lunch out with F at Thai Dara, a client meeting at Chili’s, and dinner at one of the newest restaurants in town, 'Cue Modern Barbeque.

Thanks to Frannywanny and FCO, I managed to try out Cue for free! A and I arrived an hour late due to traffic, parking lot confusion, and getting lost. (A kept on mentioning that she was famished and I couldn’t really say the same as I was still quite stuffed with all of the food I had at Chili’s.)

Our gracious host, FCO welcomed us and brought us to our table and ordered for us. He told us to try the following: Crunchy Baby Squids (PHP265), Bone Marrow and Steak Tacos (PHP485), The ‘Cue Caesar Salad Bowl (Half PHP205, Whole PHP345), Chicken Chipotle Chorizo Pot Pie (PHP325), The Baby Back Ribs (Half Slab PHP645, Full Slab PHP1,185), and Chocolate Pecan Cheesecake (PHP245). For drinks, A wasn’t very adventurous so she opted to have Grapes n’ Ginger, without the ginger (PHP135) while I had Mango n’ Basil (PHP135).

The Crunchy Baby Squids arrived first and it looked like your typical calamari.

It was crunchy yet also a bit salty. The squid used was fresh and it was not the gummy-my-jaws-are-getting-tired type of squid. The garlic mayo dip though set it apart from the rest. It made me crave for rice!

Interesting ceiling
The next dish served was so good yet so sinful as well. The photo alone screams HIGH BLOOD.

But this is a must order dish! The tender and well seasoned meat, a bit of that bone marrow plus roasted corn salsa and sweet and spicy salsa verde makes this dish worth all the cholesterol. I swear!

Wrapping all these in those cute little soft tortillas makes it one unforgettable meal.

The ‘Cue Caesar Salad intrigued me when I found out that it has bagoong as its dressing. I never had a salad with that as a dressing before. Thus, as an adventurous foodie, I was really excited to try it.

I was puzzled when it was placed on our table. I wasn’t able to see or smell the bagoong dressing. They tweaked the bagoong a bit to make it creamier thus losing the strong scent it is known for. Actually, the bagoong taste was very subtle. I think it would have been more interesting if it has a stronger bagoong flavor.

We were already full when the ribs arrived. We were actually hoping that they forgot about it as FCO ordered it a few minutes after the first few dishes. But they didn’t forget.

The ribs were really really tender and flavorful. It had the sweet yet spicy barbeque taste that people crave when eating ribs.

Slicing the meat off was effortless as the meat was cooked really well. Definitely worth the price tag! It even comes with a side dish. We had spicy monggo soup as the side dish and it was too spicy for us that we had to skip it.

The pot pie arrived a few minutes after the ribs and it looked like a soufflé. (Cute bowl.) The pot pie reminded me of Chicken ala King. It was creamy and had bits of carrots, onions, and celery. I find it a bit light to the tummy but ideal for those who do not want to stuff themselves late at night.

Finally, we have reached dessert. The Chocolate Pecan Cheesecake was delightful! It had this sweet yet tangy taste that I love in cheesecakes. The caramel drizzled on top of the cake made it even more heavenly. The cheesecake was oozing with flavor and the crust added texture to the soft cheesecake. (Gosh, now I’m drooling!)

My Mango n' Basil was very refreshing. The basil taste was very subtle though.

I will definitely go back for the Bone Marrow and Steak Tacos and the desserts! I’ll also give the salmon a try. :)

Roasted On a Rainy Night!128523

It was a rainy Sunday calm and quiet night at BGC, and while walking around BGC central, we finally been able to try Cue, a few friends have already suggested this place to us and so here it is....IT WAS GOOD!128077128077128077

We ordered Queso Fundido and Cue's Roasted chicken with creamy spinach and plain white rice on the side, the portion was huge enough to share for at least 2 person, it was perfectly cooked! Worth the wait! (30-35 mins cooking time) so be sure you are NOT literally cave-man-starving state when you get there128514 the server and generally the staff were very courteous too,so far I am very satisfied!!!128077128077128077

I celebrated my birthday with my bf in 'Cue since the place is cozy, romantic and the interior is great. We ordered the Camp Fire Skillet and 'Cues Roasted Chicken. When the food were already served to us, we were so disappointed, as you look in the menu, it looks big and appetizing. Their food presentation was good but the taste it was jusy okay. The chicken was so dry and overcooked (masarap pa chooks to go lol) Camp Fire Skillet was "bitin" but the waiter told us it's good for sharing and I was like uhm-okaay?! The price wasn't justifiable at all. I just enjoyed their Strawberry milkshake, that's all.

Every time I eat in this place, I leave with a smile on my face and a grin on my belly.

This visit, I was with my fam. I ordered the angus beef belly while my daughter had bacon slabs. Parehong panalo!

The angus beef belly was damn flavorful. While the bacon slabs -- let's just say my kid almost finished it. An awesome feat, given her pickiness.

Truly my go-to place when I want meat!

We went looking for a place where we can have our dessert so we tried Cue's warm choco lava and campfire marshmallow filled doughnut hole with cinnamon dusted vanilla ice cream and it was spectacular! The long-named dessert provided justice, I tell you.

With three big scoops of vanilla ice cream, it's topped with thick chocolate syrup and the crunchy fried doughnut hole sprinkled with cinnamon. You break the doughnut hole and voila! Chocolate syrup with marshmallows come out! It's sooo good that every spoonful of it makes your eyes closed with happiness.

My tummy made a smile just by thinking about it. :)

Why 4/5? I eish they added another doughnut hole. One simply isn't enough! :)

One thursday night, my college friends and I had dinner here at Cue. I've only been here once last year during their anniversary promo. I was still not a "foodie" back then so the orders I got (although yummy) were not well researched! 128539 And now, I'm back and it's the same time of the year again, yey for cue anniversary promo! 50% off! 128588128588128588

Since we were a lot, 7 people, I knew we would be able to order a lot (and I will be able to try everything I want hihi). #USER 128540

Service here was really really excellent. They don't have name tags so I wasn't able to get our server's name. So to kuya na payatot, thank you for being really really nice to our group! 128077

While waiting for our order, we were given bbq flavored popcorn. It was good and addicting!!!

As mentioned, we ordered A LOT (but no cue burger or house burger for now 128529 because.. Takaw mata. Because.. gluttony 128541)

The queso skillet came in first and wow! It was really good. We liked it because it's not nakakaumay. Another good thing is, even though the cheese was not warm anymore (mejj nabuo na siya) it was still good. Hindi siya weird pag kinain. 128077

Then came the salad, it was good. With pear and crispy parmesan cheese. The dressing was very refreshing. The leaves were fresh and not sad! 128522

We also ordered the crispy chicken skin. I didn't tried this one but they all loved it! The skin was really crispy and the sauce (honey and that red sauce) really made it even better!! 128513

We ordered two types of pasta, the carbonara and mac and cheese. Both were good but I liked the mac and cheese better. The carbonara's too rich and creamy for me (plus I'm not a fan of cream based white sauce type of pasta). It has the right addicting level of cheesiness and creaminess. With tiny bits of bacon! Ahhh!!! It was really good! 128077

Then came the MEAT!!!!!! (We also ordered the a 'lil feast, not in the picture because hindi na kasya 128540). The platter includes half slab ribs, beef belly, corned beef and bacon slab. Then we ordered an additional half slab (in case kulang) -- The corned beef and beef belly was sinful. Very. It was just okay but tender! The bacon slab was huge (napaka kapal ng TABA!!!! 128529). It was sweet almost like a christmas ham. And of course, the must order here, the ribs. Half slab was wet while the other half was dry rub. I liked my ribs wet, with that yummy bbq goodness. The ribs was really good and really really tender! Tas yung buto, sarap simutin! 128541 Tip: just order the ribs, full slab, instead of the feast/platter!!!

Everything was just around 2k! YES, 2000 PESOS!!! And that's because of the promo!!! Ang sarap mabuhay! 128514128588

The menu is a quirky take on a barbecue joint. It's definitely an upscale version. But the food quality delivers for the most part.

Down-side:
t's pricey. Peri-peri chicken was tasty (could have been spicier) but for 300+ the piece should have been bigger. It's almost bite-sized.

Always enjoy their sweet potato fries though and their chips (as seen in photo).
