Tried their vigan mac & cheese. Its different but tasted good.

The sauce wasn't yellow. Kinda brownish maybe because of the longganisa (make that likely because of the longganisa). Worth a try.

Not quite often do you chance upon a restaurant that has good, healthy meals and great deserts in an area like the Dela Rosa Carpark at the heart of the Makati CBD.

The Dela Rosa Carpark has been a haven for those working along Dela Rosa and the neighboring streets as well as those passing by to get to work early in the morning, or to get home in the afternoon or early evening. Opened more than 10 years ago, this carpark only had only a handful of food shops, mostly catering to heavy breakfast and lunch.

Cuptails opened a few months ago, along with other shops at the 2nd level of the carpark. We initially thought that Cuptails serves cupcakes only but their window ads helped a lot, showing salads and other meals that would just make you come in and try them out. Those craving for fresh drinks and shakes would immediately notice that a Big Chill kiosk is located within the Cuptails dining area which gives more choices for us customers.

Cuptails boasts of a good ambiance, good food and perhaps the best service in the area. They do offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and even meals in-between (aka merienda). The cool owners are even there most of the time (I think), as other reviewers here at Looloo seem to have met them as well.

As I was not on cheat day, I opted to get Cuptails' tuna sandwich (@150). My officemates went for their salads and rice meals which they seem to have enjoyed as much as I did with my sandwich. The tuna sandwich is served with a special freshly-baked bread and dressed with special herbs. The result - a sandwich creation that is unequalled. Can't wait to try other Cuptails best sellers!

What really made our lunch special was how the food was prepared carefully and served like we were visitors at a good friend's home. I'm really a big fan of homegrown businesses which is probably why there was that familiar aura when we dined here.

Cuptails even offered us free desserts (couldn't even remember the cupcake variants given to us as we were too excited to try them out). The cupcakes, according to the owners are freshly baked right at their store, simply so that freshness is not lost. From their displays, Cuptails has, I think, more than 15 cupcake variants during our visit. They do offer customization of cupcakes and toppers for any event.

I'm pretty sure we will come back here with the convenience, service and quality of food. Truly, Cuptails has defined what comfort food really means.

Owner and crew were accommodating but with amount of food served and the price charged for it was not a match.
I think my meal as shown in the picture should be priced at 130 but since it's makati fine it could be 150.
Beef tapa with tomato, egg, atchara and rice. Beef strips 4pcs? o well if it weren't for my shake I don't think I'll be full.

Everything was beyond expectations. Vegetable lasagne and kalabasa malunggay soup were both cheap, big in serving, and uber yummy!

Plus! Got free lollicakes that tasted like heaven - without exaggeration.

Thanks to the friendliest staff ever.
