I love Cyma, first for the food and second, because it was where me & Joe had our first official date. So going back is never quite a problem for us.

Last week, we were surprised that they revamped the place a bit which made it look a 100x cleaner and at par with new establishments in the mall. We also noticed that they updated the menu with 'solo' options, perfect for those eating alone or those with smaller appetite. But again, serving size was still huge.128079🏻

We had our usuals -- Roka Salata, Grilled porkchop with meatless moussaka, Spanakorizo and an extra order of pita bread. Food was amazing as always and service was top notch.

The place was packed when we first came in, but we were able to be seated right away. I ordered the chicken gyro but it came after 30-40 minutes which I wasn't really okay with since I was starving already. The chicken gyro was amazing though, but I'm not sure if it was really worth the wait. I really loved the sauce, it went reaaalllyyy well with the gyro. I'd definitely go back, I just wish that the waiting time would be shorter.

I have always loved dining at Cyma. Got my first taste of Greek cuisine from this restaurant (Eastwood branch) and have good memories of how fresh, light and healthy-tasting Greek food is especially their Roka Salata. Recently tried their Halibut fish and chips. Sadly I had to wait for a very long time to be served. I was guessing that they probably had to carefully and slowly cook my halibut fish so as not to overcook it. But It was worth the wait. The fish was crispy on the outside and really moist and tender in the inside. The fish meat almost melted in my mouth everytime I taok a bite. The dip was unique. It was not the standard tartar dip. They call it a garlic dip but it wasn't the strong, overpowering type. I just found the serving portion of the fish a bit small. The potatoes that were served were cut in wedges and chunkier than the usual fries. The price was a bit high though. But in general, the dining experience was good especially that it was a break from the heavy Christmas eating. My halibut fish was just light and right. Enjoyed my fish and chips!

I decided to try their lasagna like dish. I forgot the name but the way it was described was as if it were lasagna.

It's 290 for such a huge dish. That is not solo at all!

Very filling. I only liked the red sauce in the dish. The rest not so much a fan of. I feel like I'm eating huge curds of cheese. The bechamel is way too heavy. I wish it were liquid form like the one of Greenwich. Could have been better.

Orders took awhile before they came. So yeah. Next time will surely order something else.

Customer service though was pretty okay.

We celebrated my mom's birthday at Cyma, and it was an amazing dinner indeed.

While mom was thinking about an order she used to have all the time, I was trying to remember the dish my friend ordered when we were in Cyma Cebu, and that's how we ended with the Roka Salata, my newfound favorite salad.

Made with Romaine Lettuce, Candied Nuts, Sun-dried Tomatoes and Vinaigrette, this is one heck of a simple yet delicious dish. Even my brother, who says no to most if not all veggies, and even has a hard time eating the cabbage at Yabu, had a little bit of this salad to eat.

We ordered the family size, but realized later on that we should have had the largest size, because it was that good. The candied nuts were my favorite portion of the salad, it tasted excellent when eaten alone or with the lettuce. The flavor was not too strong, but it felt like it cleansed my palette.

We also ordered the mouzzaka and pastitsio, two orders I have previously discussed in an earlier review with the same Cyma branch.

For our service this time around, I would say it was very good. The waiter let me try the Cyma Iced Tea to taste the flavor, since I couldn't decide between this or another drink.

As I'm writing this review, I am again craving for that same order of Roka Salata. 128517128517

Holidays seem to be the perfect time for reunions and get-togethers with long-lost friends, and I've been to a lot in the last week alone. Haha.

Last week I was at Cyma with friends, and I was trying to remember a dish I had earlier when I was in Cyma Cebu. Sadly they recently changed their menu booklet so I couldn't remember it, and so I decided to look for something else to order.

I decided to order thia delicious sounding dish called - Pastitsio (see photo), and loved it. It's basically a Greek-styled lasagna, with lots of cheese and a lot of flavor. The largest-sized dish accommodated 4-6 of us, though we had another dish accompanying it.

We also ordered the Mouzakka, Greece's national dish. It came with a side order, and we picked fries. It was also delish and flavorful, but I think it was overpowered since I first had the pastitsio which had a lot more sauce.

The Cyma Iced Tea was not as good as I had hoped it would be, which was sadly my last choice as all other drinks were out.

Service, quite good. Servers were nice and the atmosphere of the place was quite good. The prices are quite okay though a little on the expensive side, as a lot of the dishes here are for sharing. But as there aren't a lot of greek restaurants, Cyma is a great place to try out the Greek food experience.

A few weeks ago, I treated my family in Cyma for lunch. Since all of them have not yet tried greek food or even ate in Cyma, I did all the orders. 128522

Food that should not be missed:
10024 Spinach & Artichoke Fondue - ughh the best everrr!
10024 Roka Salata - love how Cyma is so generous with the serving and toppings 128077
10024 Cyma Paella - always loved this one! Rice + ulam in one dish! Super sulit!

We also ordered:
10024Lamb chops - Wow! It was my first time to order lamb chops in cyma. It was really good! But too bad it was a bit bitin because one is not enough for a family of five. Ang mahal kaya ng lamb chops 128563
10024Chicken gyro/kebab (i forgot the name) - my mom ordered the meatless moussaka as the side dish. The taste was weird though. Cant figure out if it was good or not 128528

Overall, spent around 2,700 already including the SC for a group of 5. 128513

Man vs Food. Food won.

My boyfriend and I decided to try Cyma last Saturday and we both loved it. We just ordered too much that we werent able to finish everything.

We came in on a busy Saturday dinner service. The place was packed but the service was still 128077.

We ordered hummus first and we both loved it. We had to order more pita bread because it was just too good!

Next was the watermelon and lamb salad. My best friend had been telling me to try this that's why I was so excited to try this one. And again, we both loved it. It took awhile though before we got our salad but our server, Margo, told us that it will take some time since the watermelon was still being cut and that was a 128077 for me since we were informed about it.

And on to our main course. My bf moussaka with roasted potatoes while I had the chicken souvlaki. Both were good but around this time, we were both full already.

It was a good dine in experience here at Cyma and next time, I think we'll just share the main course!

I'm a bit disappointed that i tried greek restuarant when i was having stomach upset, i can't have anything dairy! Greek= yogurt! :(

We got the sampler dips with greek pita bread. Wish they had unlimited pita though cos the dips are quite addicting. We loved most of the flavors :)

The Roka salata falls on the list of my favorite salads!

We ordered moussaka but we should have not paired it with mashed potato cos it's too rich already. I didn't enjoy this dish that much.

The chicken fricasee is also a winner!

Too bad we didn't order lamb, i have a feeling it would be a good math with the salad!

maybe next time we'll explore this cuisine more!
