This is supposed to be my third review of this restaurant. Been here already but this is about my recent visit. Celebrated a dinner pre Valentine with hubby. We were just craving for Tempura.

Bought half kilo of Shrimps and 1kilo of Oysters. The staff insisted that the Shrimps we bought were too small for Tempura, after few minutes of talking and the attempt to exchange it at the palengke outside, pumayag na kaming gawin Rebusado na lang an the Oysters baked.

After we waited for more than 30 minutes, finally it was served. Ang dami kasing tao. It satiates our craving. Happy naman kami with the result. Masarap talaga sila magluto. But the damage for these two dishes, 600 pesos with two cups of rice. (Cooking fee only) 128513

My cousin invited us for his post-birthday celebration at Dampa a couple of months ago. Same as other paluto restaurants, you can buy fresh seafood from the market and ask them to cook it for you.

I don't remember everything we got but these are the ones which stood out.

🏴 Adobong Pusit - This was my favorite amongst all the dishes he ordered. Squid stewed in vinegar and soy sauce. It didn't taste or smell fishy at all. It was kinda sweet and spicy making it a perfect pair for steaming hot rice. The squid can be more tender though.

🏴 Buttered Garlic Shrimps - A staple dish whenever we'd eat in a seafood restaurant. Hassle lang to peel off the shrimps but once you bathe it with more garlic- butter sauce, ahhh so yummy!

🏴 Calamares - I love squid so gotta give this a thumbs up! Squid wasn't rubbery and breading was not too thick.

🏴 Camaron - Deep-fried battered shrimps. Easier way to eat shrimps. 128517 I had to remove the breading coz it was oily and too thick.

🏴 Baked Mussels - My sister loved it because it was so cheesy!

🏴 Chili Crabs - Not a fan of crabs so I didn't try it. But the oldies liked it! 128541 Just be careful if you're watching your cholesterol levels. 128514

🏴 Fried Chicken - This was okay. The kids were happy (because hello, fried chicken!!) but I'd rather skip this one.

🏴Pancit Miki Bihon - I'm a sucker for noodles so I skipped rice for this. A lil too salty for my taste but I ate it anyway. 128517

Best to eat here if you're with a big group because it's more sulit. 9786️

You can never go wrong with 'paluto' restaurants in Manila Bay. Choose your meat and veggies, your condiments, how they are cooked and your personal touch. Voila! Homecooked meals by the bay!

Tried the Indian mango salsa with bagoong, salty steamed crabs, shirmps and squash in coconut milk, deep fried calamares, pork liempo, clam with broth and stramed rice! All sumptuous with buko!

Manila scene at night at it's best.
