Taft finally has a place where you can get quality dessert for a very reasonable price! And I finally have a place I keep visiting just for the ice cream! I've frequented it too much already!

I am not really familiar with churros, so I'm really glad I got to try Dairy Depot's churros ice cream sandwich because it introduced me to a whole new level of churros experience! The churros ice cream sandwich sells for 79 pesos each with your choice of ice cream tucked in between two churros circles. These churros circles (as I'd like to call them) are served warm-hot so the ice cream melts (but not fastly, so don't worry!). They're not too sweet and not too hard at all. The churros circles are very soft and deliciously sweetened. I would eat them even without the ice cream.

The ice cream is another treasure! We got the salted caramel and strawberry bits flavored ones, and my favorite would be the strawberry because it tastes exactly or quite like haägen dazs'! Haägen dazs quality in taft? That's not so common, so I strongly suggest you try it! Even if the strawberry ice cream was what I liked best, the churros ice cream sandwich still tastes better with the salted caramel ice cream.

Service is okay, they give house water. The place is too small though, you could overhear everyone talking unless they're whispering. This place is meant for people to indulge in the sweets, not chatty conversations. At the side, they also sell cute little things you might want to buy but not exactly need! Nice marketing strategy.

For me, serving size is huge!!! Worth the money. I am also recommending you to try the churros ice cream sandwich with either strawberry bits or avocado flavored ice cream, and their lava cake + vanilla ice cream. LOVE. I'm totally recommending taft-goers to give this place a try.

Finally a cookie skillet ice cream not for sharing! 128539127850 been wanting to try this dessert place for some time now, and
Finally i got the chance to indulge it 128525

Ordered the cookie skillet meltdown and le boyfie ordered the churro ice cream sandwich, liked the cookie, it
Was moist and warm with a big scoop of ice cream on top, it was a really perfect combination l, enjoyed it a lot 128523. I also had a bite on the churro ice cream sandwich, churro was legit and was also warm.

Their place is kinda small though and a lot of people seemed to spend their dessert here, but waiting to have a seat and bumping elbows with a stranger was worth it 128101

Affordable!! The idea of churros and ice cream is nice. It goes great with the ice cream since the churros is soft to eat. I didn't find any special flavor with the cookie though. I think they should add milkshakes in their menu.

This is where I had my post birthday celebration! This is the new dessert place in taft that's in front of Cafe Travel, our usual tambayan.

It's quite small so it could get packed quickly since a lot of people are curious about it so I suggest you come early or take your sweets to go.

I ordered their Skillet Cookie Meltdown with a scoop of Pistachio ice cream. My first choice was avocado but that time it was not available. Loved the Pistachio tho! The cookie was too sweet for me I had to drink water every once in a while.

I got to try other flavors too like; salted caramel, vanilla, strawberry and midnight cookies and cream. It was all good! Especially the vanilla. This is a secret, don't tell anyone, but I'm pretty vanilla. IYKWIM. 128514128584

Aside from the ice cream, they also sell school supplies like; artsy pens, folders and notebooks. They also sell minion power banks. And to top it all, dick-shaped stress balls! Haha!

I loved this place! I will definitely come back for more ice cream!

My friends and I have been eyeing this new dessert place in Taft for so long and only recently have we got an opportunity to try it. Thanks to Allana J's treat!!

The place is pretty small, but they managed to make it an interesting one. They sell random stuffs which were arranged on one side of their store. They sell cute and chic school supplies, different stress balls, mason jars, and many many more.

They sell churro ice cream sandwich, skillet cookie meltdown, molten lava cake, and whimsey waffles. They also sell several such as iced tea and smoothies. All in very affordable prices 128522

We ordered:

•2 churro ice cream sandwiches in strawberry bits and midnight cookies and cream flavors. I must say that the midnight cookies and cream is really yummy! It has tiny choco bits which I really like when eating ice cream. Strawberry's good, too.

•Skillet cookie meltdown with a salted caramel and avocado scoops. The cookie is chewy and delicious. Loved both of the ice cream flavors 128523

•Molten lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yay, a perfect combo for me. Always kilig with the feeling of eating this type of dessert. The feeling of both warm and cold, mmmmm sooo yuummmyyy 128524

The place gets packed with customers quickly so you better go here early. I would like to drop by again when I have a chance.

For Php 75, you can get this nice churros ice cream sandwich. The hot churros easily melts the ice cream, but the salted caramel really compliments the cinnamon churros so I guess that's a good pair. The serving is of right amount and the churros are freshly made. The place though is small, and they have other sweet treats available. A must try to the expanding food varieties at Taft!

Churros!!!! This time, as an ice cream sandwich from dairy depot! If only they were here 3 yrs ago, I would have enjoyed myself studying while eating here haha.

The only 128078🏻 is it's too small for the huge crowd lining up for this. Haha. But, all in all, it's good. Gonna try other ice cream flavor next time. Yum it is!

This tiny place In Archers Nook, just in its Soft Opening served the best dessert I had in awhile. The menu is simple. Churros, cookies, and waffles: freshly cooked on a skillet or ceramic plate, and in between, your favorite ice cream. It's served to you in a small dish. It's meant to be eaten immediately. And rightly so. The cold of the ice cream and the warmth of the fresh baked pastry is a perfect combination. I finished it in 3minutes. And I'm not gonna lie, I was a little frustrated that the serving was too small. But I cannot give a bad review just for that! DAIRY Depot is a great dessert place. Situated in the college neighborhood of Taft, Marketed for students and foodies like me. I recommend the Avocado and Midnight Cookies and Cream. Plan to go back soon!

Hooray for there's a new desserts place in Taft. 127880127881 It's a good place if you're into something sweet. Located in the Archer's Nook, second floor of the building with Army Navy and Flaming Wings at the ground floor and right across Cafe Travel. Worth a visit!

They serve ice cream scoops with matcha, vanilla, avocado, midnight cookies and cream, salt caramel, dark chocolate, and strawberry flavors. I got to try the matcha and it was good, not too sweet and into the more stronger green tea taste. I liked the midnight cookies and cream, had it in my cookie skillet. Not too sweet and very chocolate-y. 128523 I think they're soon having cookie jars. Saw some in display but their staff have no idea how they're serving them yet. 128514

Aside from ice cream, they also have churro ice cream sandwich (too bad they did not have it yet since we were super early birds), skillet cookie meltdown, green tea ensaymadas, whimsy waffles, and drinks - matcha latte, iced tea, hot tea, and smoothies.

The cookie skillet is very affordable at 99pesos. The serving is good for one. They prepare it only for 5 minutes, not like other stores where you need to wait 15 minutes. I was too observant and saw that they just warm the soft batch cookies using a microwave and then top it with ice cream and serve. I chose the midnight cookies and cream and it was a good complement to the soft and chewy skillet. We really liked it. Would've ordered two if we were not too full. 127850127850

The green tea ensaymada was okay. Nothing too extraordinary. Try it as additional to your skillet. 128077🏻

They're on their soft opening which was obvious because the lady at the counter needed some practice on friendliness. 128514

P.S. What's looloo's email again? I'd like to send you their menu 128514 Peanut D Gwen I

Say hello to one of the newest places in Taft to get something sweet! 128075

I heard about this place and immediately decided to visit after one of my clinics in Makati. This was a great opportunity since I live nearby. The place is located on the second floor of Archer's Nook. It's a small space, can accommodate maybe about less than 20 people. Simple minimalistic design with the counter up front and various arts and crafts materials being sold at one side.

Their menu is pretty straightforward as of now. They are offering a churros sandwich which is basically two coiled churros with a scoop of ice cream of your choice in between. There's a couple of ice cream flavors to choose from including salted caramel, vanilla, chocolate, avocado, pistachio, strawberry, etc. Also on the menu is a single serving skillet cookie. A bit bigger than the palm of my hand, and served with a scoop of ice cream on top. Perfect for one! 127850 They also serve waffles and a few drinks. Aaaand they have green tea ensaymada as well! The food is affordable, each dish being less than 100 pesos! 128077

I got their churros sandwich, the skillet cookie and the ensaymada (which they gladly offered to warm for me). The skillet cookie was good, warm and soft with a hint of chewyness, went well with vanilla ice cream. The churros sandwich was a bit hard to figure out how to eat 128514 so I just deconstructed it. The churros part was a bit underwhelming, but can be redeemed by the ice cream scoop. The green tea ensaymada was warm, pillowy and covered with a generous layer of green tea cream and almond slivers. Yum yum!

Worth the visit for their yummy, affordable offerings!
