The only thing that I enjoyed in this island is the sunset. Everything else, well, there are other far better islands to discover.

You have to pay for everything in this island, from the use of the toilet down to the water that you will use in flushing the toilet.

Sorry but this island is so overrated for me. I would've given one star if it weren't for the grand sunset that I've experienced.

I was once again thrilled to experience the outdoors. I always look forward to it. Being at one with nature and being able to detach one’s self from the urban and modern world makes me appreciate the simple things in life.

While the beach is raw, with brown seaweeds and copra (coconut husks) washed ashore, camping here can be quiet and isolated, but spacious enough for a big group of maybe 60 people.

Unlike the other islands in Padre Burgos, Dampalitan Island has pine trees and is littered with pine needles. Other than pine, the camping area is shaded with coconut, talisay, and atis trees.

The island has no facilities. It is advisable that you bring your own food, water, camping, and cooking equipment. There is no electricity on the island.

Aside from eating good food I also love beach camping.

Last weekend I went here with my officemates. We only allot 1800 per person budget for this trip. From Buendia, we rode a bus to Lucena Grand Terminal then another bus ride to Padre Burgos. We arrived at 8:30 PM. Ang dilim na so we are afraid to ride a boat to our destination. Luckily, the water is calm. We have a citizen contact so he prepared all the this we needed for this trip.

When we got to Dampalitan Island, the place was so dark. Nakakatakot! hehe 128561 it's a remote island so wala electricity. Yun tlga gusto namin. haha We were welcome by the island caretaker kahit super late na. They assist us in cooking our food and unpacking our things. They even ask us kung ano gusto namin ipabili kinabukasan para madala ng bangkero. Then we ate dinner. Haha Sorry may kasama kami na chef kaya fish fillet and ceasar salad ang dinner and the best part is the dessert. SMORES!!

We stay awake until 4 AM coz they drink pa and napasarap kwentuhan. Bawal muna ang work. haha And ang pinaka mabenta topic that night is about love. haha

Coz I'm not drink ang aga ko magising the next day 1 and a half hour lang ata ako natulog. haha Since ako lang gising. I just went outside and take pictures of the Island. It's really breathtaking. I even saw the sunrise. It made me love life more. Ang ganda ng place.

For lunch, we ate inihaw na bangus and pusit. haha happy tummy. It's really fresh from the sea. haha then we ate sa dahon ng saging. Normal island life pero masaya. After lunch we get packed to go to our next destination.
