Prosciutto is 10084️, but prosciutto + truffle sauce is HEAVEN! 12852510084128523

This hole-in-a-wall, judging from the taste, price and the cheerful demeanor of their servers, deserves a good 4-star rating.
A star less from perfect, because the air conditioning could've worked better and parking can be a challenge. They don't have their own parking area so you'd have to find a free spot somewhere nearby. It's right along Sucat road and, what with the horrible traffic in Sucat lately, if you can't find a parking space right away you'd have to drive to the nearest u-turn and go back around again.

The food, though..! They are as good as they look! 12856110084128523

For antipasti, we ordered the focaccia with olive oil + balsamic vinegar + parmesan as dip. The bread is already good enough as it is.

I could not get enough of the Tartufo Funghi con Prosciutto! I LOVED the creaminess of the truffle sauce. 128516

The Estiva Pizza 128073🏻 another winner. All ingredients were as fresh as they could get. Just the right amount of mozzarella for me. The nutty flavor of the arugula nicely complemented the saltiness of the prosciutto.

Filletto al Pepe 128073🏻 we had ours done medium and the tenderness of the steak was just perfect. 128522128076🏻 Loved it even more with the gravy.

I had a glass of their sweet wine for starters and I kind of wished I ordered the red wine, too. It would've been a perfect pair for the steak, but it still ended well.
Plus➕ : They served us free shots of their sweet wine after our meal. 128522127863

I didn't have space in my tummy for dessert, anymore, so I didn't get to taste their gelato. I would love to come back for those. 128522

I'm pleasantly surprised with their rates. For food that good for only a portion of the price of other Italian restaurants. Approximately P800 per person.

I wouldn't mind recommending this place! 128522

If cubao has belinelli for their italian go to place. Sucat has Danielle's to go to. The place of the resto is quite unusual for a resto it is beside the row of lapida makers. Iniside has the italian artistic vibe. It was nice and spacious.
For the food. I love both pizza that we ordered. Forgot the name hehehe. The toppings they use is quite different compare to your common pizza parlor. I love the taste of those thin sliced of meat. For the pasta we tried the bolognese. It also tasted great! The final order was the pollo chicken. It took some time for it to arrive since it was being baked. But it was worth waiting for, it was superb!
Overall this place is really a great italian resto for me. Problem will always be the parking space. Suggestion is to park at SM BF and just walk. 128522

Have you been to Bellini's in Cubao? I heard Daniele is the son of the couple behind Bellini's and is located in the South. If you're a fan of old-school oven-baked pizzas and authentic Intalian food then this is a go-to. Daniele himself greeted us with a smile the moment we set food in the restaurant. They say he does that all the time whenever he is around.

They serve free bread as you wait for your orders to be served.

Their Ravioli Truffle Cream is a must try!

Parking was quite difficult we were forced to ask permission from a nearby shop to park infront of them.

The ambiance was fine, it has the same impression of an artsy and rustic hole in the wall atmosphere as Bellini's but talk about experience I loved it more in Bellini's. So the next time my tastebuds are craving for Italian food, i'll choose Bellini's over Daniele's instead.

Well, this could be the end for this so called Authentic Italian restaurant...Yes! I can say it is authentic Italian wherein the quality is already far gone...

Frozen sea shells on pasta dishes? Hmmmm...not me...
Very poor quality of dishes and hygine inside the kitchen...
Very poor customer service...

Hope that they will be able to recover...

I suggest going to the not authentic italian restaurant with very good quality of food.

Ciao!

Since Daniel is actually the son of Bellini's, you already know what to expect here if you've been to Bellini's128523 Which is great Italian food! This has always been our "go-to" restau for about 3years now when we want some quick, real-deal Italian food. It's not over-the-top kind of restau but it's nearby and it has quality, so far we've never been disappointed. We love the staff here as we've grown familiar with each other and they're really friendly and accommodating. We also love how cute the whole shop is styled 128512 great place for dates and special dinners128077

A hole-in-the-wall restaurant! Great authentic Italian food in South Metro Manila! Ask the friendly waiters or the owner Daniele, brother of Bellini who is always around for some recommendation on house specialties. Order home made pasta. The pizza is soooo delicious! U won't get wrong with any kind ! A taste of Italia! My husband and I are regulars but every visit is always a delight. We always order something we haven't tried and it's always a great surprise! The best Italian resto for me! You have got to try it! Again and again and again. I'm so in love with this restaurant!

I loved the pizza but i didnt like the pasta. I had prosciutto and arugula pizza and quatro formaggi pizza. The price is very affordable! I suggest if you go here, you order the pizza. The ambiance is okay. I didnt like the odor of the resto. Smells like an old house (with moth balls).

Want to try italian cuisine? Without spending alot? Daniele's the best place to be. The name of the restaurant gives a hint on the owner's name as well. Daniele is very accomodating, he greets all his guest "buongiorno" and not only that but his restaurant makes you feel like you are in Italy.

Reading the menu can be very overwhelming especially when there are alot of dishes to choose from but Daniele can help you decide on what to order to make it a bit easier. For us, he suggested to have the Quattro Formaggi (4 kinds of cheese) pizza, Napoli (anchovies, capers & oregano) pizza and Capriciosa (mixed vegetables - eggplant, tomatoes & cucumber). While waiting for our order, daniele served us italian bread that was partnered with a dip of olive oil and vinaigrette. The bread was really soft and had italian herbs sprinkled on top of it for added flavor. And the dip was great because olive oil goes well with anything. Sadly we didn't take pictures of the dishes since we were all too excited to try each out. For 3 pizzas that was 16" inches each, we spent less than Php1,500. Which is fair for a group of 7 people. Being bloated and all, we ended up taking out the remaining slices.

Overall, the pizza was great. You can taste the flavor of wood, making it an authentic oven-baked pizza. And after the meal, we got a complimentary shot of italian wine which was a bit sweet but the experience was awesome. We'll definitely be coming back since the food was great and so was the experience. 128513

Daniele will always greet, entertain and serve you with a smile.

Any pizza you'll order will make you speak Italian because of its authenticity.

Sweet wine is a must.

I can't believe that I can find an authentic Italian cuisine in an unexpected place. The facade of their place looks like a canteen but when you enter inside it was like a time spacewarp. The place was cozy and their food really took me back to Italy. This place is a hidden gem. Love their steak, pizza and ravioli.. Just one tip, don't order anything off the menu or else you'll get shocked of the bill.

Indeed the Bellini's of the South! Gotta recommend their pizzas and carpaccio! Don't order the sweet wine, parang red iced tea lang hehe! Other than that, food, ambiance, service, and value for money is a-ok! Will definitely go back here!

If your tastebuds are craving for authentic Italian food, Daniele's is the perfect place for you. I super love their Ravioli truffle cream and home made gelato. 128525 They also serve after meal sweet wine for free which is very nice.

Thumbs up for the hole-in-the-wall set up. 128077
However parking is a bit of a problem for peak days. 128078128513

After my Tagaytay shoot, I decided to have our dinner at Casa Mia since it was on the way and I've been wanting to try it and see if it was at par with the father's masterpiece, Bellini's.

The place is very inconspicuous, a true hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. Like Bellini's, it also had the same feel but Bellini's was more rustic. Personally though, it didn't have that homey feel I usually have when I'm at the other place.

The walls had the same frames, probably taken from the original place.

We ordered a plate of caesar salad, truffle pasta with prosciutto, and black pepper steak for me.

The salad was simple, and the taste was very simple as well... So simple that it lacked flavor. The pasta was good but I couldn't taste the truffles... And that's too bad 128532 The steak, well, was tough. Really tough. And the gravy sauce lacked the black pepper kick.

Needless to say, I didn't enjoy my food. It was okay but maybe I was just expecting too much because of the raves. It was definitely not comparable to Bellini's... The kid still has a lot to learn, IMO.

Good thing i had wine. 128540

Alas! We finally found this resto along Sucat Road. Price was average but food was authentic Italian.

Good thing the server offered the appetizer on picture. Grilled portobello mushrooms sprinkled with balsamic vinegar with strips of mozarella and arugula leaves. The foccacia bread dreadly left us craving for more after one round. Fresh ravioli in truffle oil with spinach was great too.

Surprised there were free shots of sweet wine after. Will definitely come back soon!!
