No customer service! It was a horrible, horrible experience.

I walked in and asked how much a rebond would cost - 3500. How much for the hair color? P5400+ with the reobond. Ok.

They gave me a book with the different hair colors to choose from. The whole time I sat there, I couldn't figure out which color to choose for my hair. I didn't want any light colors because I have a typical pinay skin coloring. One of the girls were answering my questions at first. But after a few minutes, she left and came back to ask if I decided already. I said no. After several minutes of them waiting for me to decide, one stylist appproached me and asked again. I told her my concerns. She answered my questions and I told her I wanted something reddish but not too light. Finally, I decided on Red Brown. It specifically said Red Brown on the book.

Still, they didn't get started right away on my hair.

"By the way, alam mo naglagas dati ung hair ko."

"Kelan yung last na pa-rebond niyo?"

"Last year. Pero yun nga, may tendency mag lagas yung hair ko."

He didn't sound interested. So I stopped talking and just waited.

Finally, they started applying something on my hair. I didn't know what it was. They didn't tell me what it was. All I know is that it stung a lot and I was worried that it would irritate my scalp.

"Ganyan po talaga yan Ma'am."

Finally, he started washing my hair. After they blow dried my hair and I started freaking out. The roots of may hair was yellowish brown. (When I was asking the girl who approached me earlier on, she said they weren't going to bleach my hair. The book only showed what it looks like on gray hair and what it looks like on dark hair.)

I asked the guy who was working on my hair, "ganyan na ba talaga yan?" "Opo." "But I wanted Red Brown. Can I see the book with the hair colors again?"

He gave me a book. (It was different from the one they originally gave me.)

The senior stylist approached me again, "You said you wanted Red Brown." I was looking frantically at the book trying to look for the color I picked.

She pointed to a Red Brown that was no where near the color I chose. "Am I looking at the same book?"

She then answered, "You said you wanted red brown earlier. But we can tone it down later."

Everything went down hill for me at that point. I was not expecting my hair to be bleached at all. They never told me that they were planning to bleach my hair.

Maybe for some people, bleaching is okay. But for me - I have ultra thin hair that breaks easily. So why would I want to have my hair bleached? Couldn't they tell just by looking at my hair? Furthermore, there was a time where I had bad hair loss. It was so bad that I went to the hospital for a consultation.

But in David's Salon nobody cared.

They continued working on my hair. But everytime I looked in the mirrror, all I could see was my bleached hair. I was thinking of all the hair treatments and extra care I would have to do just to make sure my hair doesn't break and that it doesn't fall off. I should have just stuck with my black hair. It would have been less expensive and I wouldn't have to deal with bleached hair. I worked so hard to keep my hair healthy all year. This was all my fault.

I chose this salon because I thought they would be able to take care of me better. But no. There was no customer sevice and they didn't even explain anything to me at all.

They finished the job. I have reddish brown hair color now. The senior stylist said I can come back next year when they have another promo.

#latepost Hehe I got a haircut and pedicure here 2 weeks ago. It was my first time here and Kiko was my stylist. He was really nice and delivered exactly what I wanted. Unlike other stylists, he didn't do his own thing. So good job! 128077 I left, a happy customer with beautiful hair. 128135 hihi!

So I walked into this place, asking if someone was available to do make-up at 11am on a Monday. Not expecting a yes, they said yes. Plus one! 128512 I really wasn't expecting to be wowed, but lo and behold, after an hour of make-up by Lou, their make-up artist, I transformed into the kontrabida I was meant to be. Hehehe! Plus two! I told Lou to do the no make-up look for me, and he successfully and brilliantly did it! So very happy with my make-up last night, I had to take a selfie and preserve it. Why, even the bride at the wedding I attended said "I love it! You look so condescending." Woohoo! Exactly the look I was gunning for. Too bad this branch of David's is far from my house. Make-up artists in salons who can perfect the no make-up look are hard to find (unless you go to the really high-end salons).
