A few days ago while waiting for my friend Sam to arrive in our meeting place and since she was going to be late,I was in search of a salon near by that did gel nails. Ive always been so curious with these gel nail polish since my sisters have tried it and they say its so much better than regular nail polish.

When I got there I was the only costumer. Was that a sign?! It took the girl 10 mins to start doing my nails cause she kept running around gathering her materials. She was hard on my nails and I was scared I might leave the place with a bleeding finger! She was absent minded at times too and I had to remind her to do it well. She didnt even apply the color on evenly! I was kinda annoyed leaving the salon and paying 580pesos including cleaning in my feet. But now I know to go some place where they really specialize in nails!

It was one of those I-am-depressed moments and I decided to DIY cut my hair. It didn't end well and before I make more damage, I dragged myself to the salon to have it fixed.

Thanks to the hair gods for Sir Romy he fixed my hair even if it's waaay too short, it kinda works.

Oh it was David's birthday the day I went. Everything was 50% off. If I wasn't in a hurry, I would've had my hair colored too.

I think I should stick to this salon. There's obviously a valid reason why they have hundreds of franchises all over the Philippines; quality service.

Today I wanted to get my hair cut really short. And it's the first time in the past 6 months that I've been completely satisfied with the results. 128135

I love how spacious the place is and how their shampoo station has a heater and you didn't have to suffer with really cold water.

In addition to the good service the stylist really paid attention to the details I gave him. I didn't hear any sass from him and he was really nice.

I wouldn't mind paying an extra P100 for a service like this. 128539

Although its my first time to rate David's Salon at Pergola on looloo, I have come here for the last 3 years since we moved to the south for my cut and color, pedi and threading needs. Today I had a foot spa and pedi from my trusted salon staff. As always, I came home satisfied with the results of her handiwork :)

My regular stylist is on a long vacay so I decided to explore options closer to home.

I was supposed to try this other salon by Aguirre's gate but ended up going to Pergola instead because there was no parking available.

I got to the 2nd Floor and right next to CANS was David's. I never knew it existed till today.

There was not much of a crowd, just a couple having their hair done and two girl friends choosing nail polish for their mani-pedis. The receptionist was very accommodating and was willing to answer all my questions.

In no time, I was in the shampooing station. The stylist who did my hair was excellent. I got no sass from him, which is a big deal for me. He followed my instructions and was really nice despite me being so hands-on. (Sorry I'm a control freak.)

We were done after 30 minutes and I got to enjoy reading articles on my Flipboard.

Amazingly the haircut came at a rather affordable price. I was expecting to cough up P500 or more. Would you believe that i just paid P270? I was so grateful that I gave the stylist (Romy) a P100 tip.

Definitely a place I would go back to if my original stylist isn't around.
