Really glad to celebrate Easter with a bowl of fresh, hot congee at David's Tea House. So far, the are only two Chinese restaurants which we frequent - Luk Yuen and David's Tea House. I can't think of any other Chinese resto (at this price range) which competes with both - and David's has been our "go to" place for noodles and this super bowl of congee. Hmm... Naisip ko lang... Go-to tapos congee... 128521 Pun is fun!

Parents brought me with them to Santa Rosa this morning, well I think I'm their most favorite child among their offsprings. 1285149996️Lol. We went there with one of their HS friends.

We were talking about where to eat around Nuvali but since I was not in the mood and Mom was taking her diet seriously, Papa was the one who decided. So yeah... David's Tea House. He was the one who ordered errthing.

• Patatim
• Dimsum Platter
• Yang Chow
• Brocolli with Shrimp? (i forgot)
• And the food in the lower part of the photo.
• Spare ribs

I'm not really into Chinese food (except siopao) so maybe it was okay. Patatim has this umay factor, really (pork fat huhu). I liked their Yang Chow and Dimsum platter. We didn't finish it all, kasi naman si Papa apat lang kami pero pang 6 na tao yung inorder. 128514128514

Place is okay, it was packed with HOT AND SUN-KISSED BIKERS. 128525 hahahah. ("Bikers" again, Russel F told me once that my crush is a biker 128514128584) Even caught myself staring at the one on the next table because of his really attractive brown eyes (natural). HAHAHA Kahiya. 128584 I didn't eat a lot because I didn't like the food that much, but it's okay. Busog na ko sa mga bikers na kumakain dun. HAHAAH OMG I'M REALLY TELLING THESE THINGS, WHY. Staffs looked unhappy, though. 128532 ugh really hate unsmiling staffs. Nakakawalang gana.

Second time here! Went here with the family and all of us loved our short stay here after taking time out to visit the kois. Kois still abound but we felt na medyo nabawasan sila. Anyway, there aren't that many people kaya siguro other kois have preferred to stay under water and preferred not to join the "mob" for fish food. Naalala ko na naman ang MRT "mob" during weekdays.. Haayz...

Anyway, I always recall those days (not so long ago) when Solenad was the only destination at Nuvali. A lot has indeed changed around Nuvali. Aside from Solenad 1 where we usually go to (for the boat ride and the kois), we have also visited the cool Republik wakepark which is around 30mins drive from Solenad 1. If you're into shopping, you can't miss the factory outlets at Paseo de Sta Rosa (beats Glorietta, MOA and Megamall everytime with the everyday low prices!). You can now visit Solenad 2 for more eats and treats!

We always come back to Nuvali's Solenad 1 when just bumming around with the kids and kids at heart. And when we're here at Solenad 1, we dine at our ultimate favorite sulit oriental place which hasn't changed at all. We still get the best oriental comfort food and that prompt service which is what you should get with every visit to David's Tea House.

Not a fan of Chinese foods so I would say it was okay. The asado and bola bola congees were not available, too bad. The Wanton noodles was a little salty. The rest of our orders were just fine though.

As part of my visit to my brother's family down south, we had dinner at Nuvali and tried David's.

We ordered the most typical dishes anyone would order at a chinese joint.

1. Yangchow Fried Rice
2. Beef with Brocolli
3. Chinese fried chicken
4. Pork Spareribs

Nothing special though. They all taste the same to me now. Should've ordered something else.

We were as hungry as the kois in Nuvali so we decided to have an early dinner. We all loved Chinese food so we ended up filling our hungry tummies at David's Tea House and Hot Pot.

We were initially thinking of getting a packaged hot pot meal but the server informed us that the hot pot items are priced individually. Since that would be quite pricey (and that we were already hungry anyway), all of us decided to get a la carte instead and got ourselves one order of David's Noodles each.

All of us enjoyed - including Kandyce! Kandyce was really excited to try using chopsticks that she was the one who broke the sticks apart!

You could never go wrong at David's as they already serve house tea (on the house) as you arrive at your table, which is actually a perfect match for noodles. We ordered David's Noodles (best among the noodles choices). The dish included generous sized meatballs, tofu and wanton - I have to mention that the noodles are definitely more firm and filling than your ordinary Chinese resto variety noodles.

What made the meal exciting is that the ingredients were served separately from the broth (like how they serve hotpot) and we loved mixing them by ourselves which is a meal adventure for us. The noodles and dumplings have been steamed, by the way, and is heated to the right temperature by the hot broth.

They already have their chili sauce and soy sauce on the table and you can already start to mix your own dip to matches the dumplings.

Each meal cost only P180 and is perfectly sulit for our koi-hungry tummies!

Nothing like the David's Congee as a "feel better" food for someone feeling under the weather. Pair it with shrimp hakaw and you're good. If you need more carb, just add siopao asado.

Food is good, but the food to go had a cracked pastic bowl for the congee and it did not include spoons. The staff are friendly but they need a bit more training. The waiter didn't know some items on the menu and didn't bother to ask the cook. No one volunteered to help him out either. They need to be a little more professional.
