My family and I were coming home from a gathering. Suddenly, my grandmother craved for some congee. I, on the other hand, was also in the mood for dimsum so we passed by Tomas Morato to find a Chinese restaurant. We were kind of worried because it was really late and most restaurants might be closing or closed already. Good thing, we saw David’s Tea House and they are open ‘til 3AM.

David’s Tea House has an ample seating. The first floor is for their walk-in customers while the second floor is for events. Apart from this, they also have an outdoor seating with a nice view. We choose the indoor seating instead. For the food, they offer a variety of affordable dishes such as dimsum, congee, noodle soup, rice toppings, juicy pork, seafood, roasts and cold cuts.

But since we already had dinner, we just ordered some Plain Congee, Sesame Buchi, Wanton Noodles, Pork Asado Pao, Beancurd Roll and Hakaw. The service was fast and the food were okay.

By the way, they also have Shabu-shabu. We saw families dining there and it looked like they’re having a good shabu-shabu experience. We might try that next time we visit.

David’s is open until 3am for all the late night dimsum cravings.

Food remained consistent and menu is priced just right for the amount of serving they provide. Our usual orders include Yang Chow, Hakaw, Sweet and Sour Pork, and Mantao.

David's Tea House is always a pleasure to eat at. I'm a big fan of Chinese food and my house being just a few steps away from this restaurant always makes me want to go here for a quick midnight snack may it be their chicken feet, spareribs, siomai, or noodles. Generous servings for a worthy price.

I love the service, the ambiance and their dishes. I also love the late night service so if I crave for food at the wee hours of the evening, David's Tea House is the place to be.

Another day, another lunch out with my mom. We were around the Timog area so we went to David's to get some congee and dimsum. Everything we ordered was good as usual, especially the Pork Century Egg Congee and the Siomai (in photo). The taro puffs we ordered weren't cooked well though, and I think that the place needs a makeover similar to it's other branches.

it was a good shabu-shabu experience. we tried their package for two for 720php and it was satisfying. make sure you order the live shrimp as one of your ingredients. i suggest watercress, angus beef, tofu, corn cobs and the shrimp dimsum. for the soup we had the ordinary soup and combination soup (somewhat spicy) and it was good :)

I'm not sure if this certain branch is just old and not well maintained or they just don't know proper restaurant sanitation. The food is great no doubt about it but if you see baby roaches crawling on the table, it will definitely spoil your appetite. Didn't see any roaches on the food though and didn't get sick when I got home -but still, don't risk eating at this branch.

My personal midnight hunger fix. Since i slept since this afternoon I woke up around 1am really hungry. There really is not much place near us to go to at this hour. This place has been my go to place at this time. Our regular order, hakao + siomai , sweet and sour pork and their pancit canton. Almost every time this is our order and it never fails to keep us really full.

The only thing worth mentioning this visit is that our canton went out in less than 5 mins 128563. Though it tastes and look as good as i remembered , still 5 mins is shocking hehehe.

Still its good food and at this hour its a good place to go to especially if you are into chinese
