Im a bit disappointed with their halo halo. its much pricey than of icebergs but has a lesser content. taste like ordinary. Giving 3 stars tho for the ambiance. very vintage 128524

My bf's friend kept raving about Dayrit's and I told him that I vaguely remembered the place from long before... Bf felt left out that he didn't really know the place and haven't tried it... Yan ang nangyayari kapag may comparison ng childhood na nagaganap... 128540

When we saw that this place opened up in Tomas Morato, he kept insisting that we eat here... So we finally did!128522

You park in the side streets if you get there late, so FYI lang... The restaurant was simple, medyo 80s ang feel... We ordered the roast beef and the burger, share share lang...128513 our straightforward verdict? It was just okay, nothing to really rave about... Plus the prices weren't that cheap... 128522

I said i would come back for these crunchy peanuts from Dayrit's! 128521

I took the chance when we were in Timog area 2 days ago. For 150 pesos each bottle it's really a good deal! This time i bought two bottles. Red tape on top means it's the spicy flavor which i obviously liked. White tape has that plain flavor. It's the crunchiest!! 9786

I really think this is a lot cheaper than the one's available in the groceries. 128077

Sarap Noon....Ngayon!

I heard they have been known for more than 2 decades na. It is my first time here with hubby. He ordered the Big 'D' burger at 199 and i got me Bulalo with rice for 295 pesos.

It was luncheon time then. Soon after we got in, tables began to be filled with customers.
We also chanced upon a visit of the Chinese Dragon and witnessed it dance with a very loud sound from the drums and other musical instruments. 128226127929127930127928127927

The burger by the way tastes good. It's really quite big and literally good for two.
Bulalo on the other hand was served hot. The meat was soft and yummy but the soup tasted bland to me.

Nevertheless, i still did enjoy the dining experience. The Adobo peanut's an A plus! I bought it for 150 and it was soo good i munched it that very day until i consumed it just few days after! 128525

Finally got to taste their popular roastbeef!! Verdict: it was ok. My sister got the Macao plate and I think it tasted better because of their soy vinegar sauce. Will definitely go back here to taste the other dishes. Service was fast and their juices were placed in tall glasses (totally worth your buck).

Still the same good 'ol food from Dayrits. Their Roast Beef is still as yummy as it was before. Plus their Macao and Hawaiian Rice.

Sayang this place closed their branch in the Fort. If it still were open there probably this is the place where I will eat my lunch most of the time. Baket? baket?!! Baket kayo nagsara sa the Fort?!! Nakakamiss ang Dayrits! 128513128532128547

Dayrit's traditional take on Filipino comfort food reminds me of my childhood when food was filling and delicious. Try the roastbeef, homecooked carne norte, and the burgers. Sarap!

I have loved Dayrit's eversince burger steak, roast beef and chorizo macau. However, there is one reason to lessen their points on my list now. The QC branch is not that kid-friendly! They don't have high chairs! I wonder if it's the same with the Magallanes branch...

So my son was reduced to using his improvised high chair. Strappy material bought from Numa. ;)

I was on fieldwork and way past lunchtime already when i saw this restaurant in a building in Tomas Morato, i remember my father bringing me here (makati branch) when i was a kid, but couldn't remember what they serve, so i parked and went and ordered the first thing i saw on their menu since i was so hungry - Roastbeef plate. And my, to my surprise, it was literally big servings of roastbeef! Overwhelmed ang peg ko when i checked the other table and saw 2 customers sharing what i ordered for myself, may rice pa! Lol. Flavor was ok, but there were portions on the beef that was slightly overcooked, it was also on the sweet side, the gravy/sauce were served separately and you can ask for more if you like since medyo nakakaumay sa dami and sweetness ang timpla, baked potato sidings and the vegatables were good though. Fast service as well.

A classic filipino deli/fast food place which was known during the 80s.

What we ordered:

Chorizo Macau Served with Hawaiian Rice (see picture) - This meal was recommended to me by my officemate and i'm glad i followed his recommendation because i enjoyed consuming this meal. The chorizo was tender and tasty. It was a great match with their sweet and tangy vinegar sauce and their hawaiian rice.

Roastbeef Ghetti- Roast beef and Spaghetti paired. Generous amount of serving of roast beefs plus i love that its beef was tender and not hard to chew or swallow. The Spaghetti was ok though, nothing special.
