one stop shop for your medical needs, consultation, laboratories, minor and major surgeries are done here.. what I like about it is it's conveniently located inside a mall. Heads up though, the Pedia arrives at 11 AM.

Hello, how's everyone doing?128522

Sometime in February, on Valentine's Day in fact, I woke up with my upper left body in terrible pain.128555 I initially dismissed it as an effect of sleeping in one position for too long. But in the days that followed, movement of my upper left body was severely hampered, and the pain even went down to my arm. At some point, it also affected my upper right body. 128557128557128557 I even wanted to check myself into the hospital just so I could get drugs128138128137, I mean sedated.128514128541

Our main office is on San Miguel Avenue, so going to Megamall was a breeze. I had to choose a medical center near the office because, knowing my busy schedule, a visit to the doctor would have to be done before going to work or during my lunch hour. After some tests and an x-ray, it turns out I have a cervical neck strain. I have been getting physical therapy every other day since then for pain management and to help relax my muscles and the pinched nerve somewhere.

Mega Clinic's rehab center is heaven sent. Their staff is very polite and accommodating. Their physical therapists operate on a tight schedule and become fully booked days in advance. It's better to book as many sessions in advance as much as possible. They also send a text an hour or two before your session to remind you and confirm whether you're coming or not. They're very strict as well. They only give an allowance of 15 minutes otherwise they will cancel your appointment. This is very important, specially for those like whose lives and schedules now revolve around physical therapy.

The therapists themselves are very nice and caring although there is one therapist that I don't like because she tends to talk to her patients like a child. They constantly ask during the session if everything's okay and so on. I don't know how much they charge though because everything is covered by my health card128179. Although I estimate it to be around 700 per session, because the HMO price is P550.

Facilities are well-worn but clean. They make you wear fresh hospital gowns at the start of every session, and equipment is also cleaned right after each use.

As much as I like them though, I hope to stop coming here in the next week or two.
