I love their patties and their hot sauce. Tried the pizza, cheese was good but that's about it? It wasn't a bad pizza..
I give it a 4 star because they have a good juice selection and they have variety when it comes to their patties. Good to snack on or eat for lunch/dinner if you're on a super budget or if you're in a rush.

Back in college (my slim-as-a-fat-tingting days), whenever I'd want a quick snack, I would almost always go for a Jamaican pattie. My usual order, the cheesy beef pinatubo. Nothing beats the savory beef 128046 flavor burning the roof of your mouth to kingdom come, with steam coming out of the pattie as you bite into it (come to think of it, I'd always complain about it being too hot, but i still eat it right away, so meh). After the ceremonial first bite, I then empty packets of hot sauce into my pattie then i eat away happily. Noms galore 128523. Nevermind the flaky crust messing up my shirt or the hot sauce that i cant seem to get enough of getting my hands all messy 128514.

Fastforward x number of years later, I find myself at Jamaican Pattie's kiosk at Cash and Carry. Its either this branch or Greenbelt's that i would frequent 128513128077🏼. It's a humble stall loaded with pattie goodies. Ideal for what ever scenario you can think of that will merit a jamaican parttie. I can pretty much say the it still hits the spot. Yummers on time, every time.

150 stores strong today, they have a promo where you can buy 3pcs of Beef Pinatubos for Php100.00. Not bad for a TBT 128077🏼128074🏼128513

3 for 100 for their Pinatubo only today in celebration of opening their 150th branch!!! I saw it on my Twitter feed so of course we had to pass by. Head on over to your nearest branch while you still have time. There wasn't a line when I was there.

Who here remembers when a patty was still about 25-30 pesos a piece? Yes, it now has less meat IMO but it's still a great snack. I hope they make a meatier one, even if it costs a little more.

Congratulations!

Late post

Original Jamaican Pattie shop has a thin flaky pastry and moist , tasty , cheesy chicken or beef fillings on tomato base paste with spicy variations...which is what I usually orders if it's not out of stock.... Coz they do run out fast & often specially with their power plant branch. My fave has always been the pinatubo,...be careful though to take small bites as it could be extremely hot in the center.... so savory with a good ohmpff!!!

Surprisingly they were good. I liked my first try of these patties I've been meaning to taste. I had the original beef and wonder what the others taste like.

While there are several variants to choose from, I've always opted for their Beef Express ever since they opened in 1990.

Although not as spicy as the Beef Pinatubo, the Beef Express packs a little kick nonetheless. But the wedge that sets it apart is the tomato sauce infused into the latter -- adding a flavorful punch to the meat sauce.

Unfortunately, the filling has slowly been reduced through the years.

I remember when eating a piece would result in an inevitable mess. Each bite would cause the stuffing to ooze out from the sides and result in pastry flakes and meat sauce strewn all over my lap. I tried eating a couple one time as a movie snack. Suffice it to say, that was the first and last time.

Good times nonetheless.

A quick snack option yet versatile enough to be a light meal, this crusty meat-filled patty is a true classic and an all-time favorite!

I tried the bicol express, it wasn't as hot as I thought it would be, so I ended up putting a lot of hot sauce. But still good. :) may be I'll stick with the pinatubo, since I love spicy food. :)

I used to love this. It used to be delicious. It used to be satisfying. It used to be full with beef and mushroom. It used to be thick and crunchy. It used to have fresh ground beef. It used to be hot and fresh. Well, I guess this one is just another used to be. No more jamaican patties for me. 128530128530128530128078128078128078128128128128128128

There must be a cult following for Jamaican meat pies for them to last more than a decade. Everytime I'm in the area i usually order cheesy beef, beefy tomato or pinatubo but this time i tried the original beef. First bite, air and pastry, second bite more pastry, third bite still no meat... Waaah!! Wah happened?? The patty is thinner and with less meat than i remember. Empanada na nga lng.
