Deete pronounced as Deh-Eh-Te is an organic coffee shop located in Century City Mall. According to the barista, Deete means "warm" or "summer" in I forgot what language. Maybe Korean? So I asked her why name an "organic cafe" like that but apparently, she doesn't know why, as well! 128517 I tried checking google if it really means summer and what's with the name but zero information. No results found. And it's not Korean! Haha, oh well. The name sounds "organic" and it's unique. 128513

This is located outside of the mall, in the same floor where Agave and Chaplin are. It's very easy to locate this one because the sign/logo is big enough to attract everyone. You can't miss this place! 128517

Right after our Milk Trade visit, Mary and I went here for some drinks.

It was already 10:30 pm when we arrived, they close at 11:00 pm, but the staffs still welcomed us. As if we only have 30 minutes to order and drink, we even took the time choosing which drink to get. But the servers were really nice and patient with us.

We ended up ordering one Black Tea Latte and Green Tea Latte as we wanted something to "help"our tummies. Both were highly recommended by the servers. Also, for a cafe that serves all things "organic" the items are priced reasonably. Most are actually affordable.

My Green Tea Latte was good. I actually enjoyed drinking it. Unlike Mary's drink, mine wasn't that sweet. It's good but not something I will order again or will crave for. 128517

But if ever I'm in need of a quiet and uncrowded place, this is a good option. The cafe is spacious. Perfect when you want to study or get a lot of work done. They have a number of power outlets for everyone and the wifi connection is fast. 128513128077🏼 Just not sure if they have a washroom inside. So hassle if you have to leave your things or bring them all with you. 128517

What happens when two corporate slaves get to visit the concrete jungle of Makati filled with new food finds? They go crazy. And that was what exactly happened to Ruth S and I when we visited Century City Mall after a filling Indian feast. We filled every inch of our tummy with food and capped the night at one of the newest coffee shops in the mall.

Hello, Deété Organic Café.

We wanted to enjoy a hot beverage to help us digest all the food we ate and thought that it would be a great idea to stop by this place before heading home. It was already almost 11pm when we got here and we were welcomed by jolly servers.

Deété has a lot of drinks to offer and it took us quite a while before we finally settled with Green Tea Latte (PHP140, 12 oz) and Black Tea Latte (PHP130, 12 oz). At first, we were unsure if we should get the warm or cold version of these drinks so we asked the barista for recommendation. And he gave the funniest reply. He said that he loves cold drinks and it solidified his fats. It sure made us order warm drinks.

There were still a handful of people inside the cafe past 11 pm and most of them were either busy reading or working on something with their laptops. We on the other hand were busy taking photos of the place.

Soon, our drinks were served and it looked more than 12 oz with its huge cups.

R liked her drink as it had a nice green tea taste.

My drink on the other hand was a tad too sweet to cap the night. There was a lovely taste of black tea but the barista went overboard with the sweetener. It was like having dessert all over again.

While sipping our drinks, we asked for some plates for us to try the matcha croissants I got that afternoon. They quickly gave us two small plates without any hesitation. I was impressed with how this café provide quality service.

I could barely finish my drink and asked the staff to transfer my leftover latte to a to go cup. I took tiny sips of my drink on the way home but I simply just could not finish it as it was too sweet for my liking.

I’d still go back though as I’m curious with its bing su.

It was a very long day for my BF and I, travelling from North (QC) to South (Manila Bay Area) and then back to Makati. We were so sleepy but despite buying coffee from a popular coffee shop we really could not muster enough energy to be excited to watch this summer’s biggest action flick which we had been waiting for in ages. Since it was our first time here, we explored Century Mall and chanced upon this place at the uppermost portion of the mall.
Surprisingly, given that a lot of people were occupying every seat in the previously mentioned coffee shop, this one is pretty empty except for 2 tables. This allowed us to appreciate the architecture and quirky chic ambiance of Deete with seemingly wooden bamboo shoots sticking out of the ceiling. We ordered the Caramel Latte (P145) and after a few sips, we were wide awake. Not only that, it was one of the better tasting coffee I’ve had in a while. While browsing, I discovered they had a lot of outlets and wifi, so it’s a good place to study. My only complaint was that it took a while for our sandwich to be served. I guess its understandable as it is not their usual product offering. Aside from coffee, they also had smoothies, bingsu (Korean Halo-halo) and various flavors of latte which look pretty interesting to try, considering that its an organic café. I would definitely be back if I am in that area. #henrysinstaxgiveaway

De ete cafe is a korean organic cafe. The vibes here is casual. We only stayed here because the other friends are so busy roaming around the mall.

I liked the place mainly because of the good internet connection and power outlets. As in. I only got here a blueberry latte since i so need a coffee boost. But then i was surprised to get a blueberry-milk composition. Walang espresso. I should have asked first. 128557

Well, the drink was blueberry enough. Good thing it did not taste that of a syrup. I think the milk helped. You really can just relax here. Since they're korean, they also serve bingsu.

The interior too is for me, likable. Triangular , rectangular tables, sofas, highchairs... The music is kinda smooth and chill. There were flies though 128556

It all started with Equatorial and the rest is history.  It has been my mission in life to try as many green tea infused drinks and dishes.

I present to you Deete's Green Tea Bingsu.  I tried my best not to look too excited when i saw this on their menu last night.  While he was enjoying his organic cafe latte,  i was busy devouring my regular sized green tea bingsu.

Reasonably priced at php 190.  This will surely sataite your green tea cravings.  The finely shaved milk-infused ice sports a green hue.  There were generous servings of red bean,  mochi,  cashew,  walnuts and topped with luscious green tea ice cream drizzled with green tea syrup.  I just died and went to green tea heaven!!!

He said "Lasang halaman."
I replied "Chlorophyll!!!"

I love me some gree  tea!!!

The plan was to try Milk Trade at HITW but we were on the fence of drinking something milk based.  I suggested coffee, he gave his nod of approval.  Off we go to Deete Organic Café.

Saying that they have lovely interiors is an understatement.  The ceiling is so pretty.  There were a couple of cylinder-ish shaped wood adjourning the ceiling.  It kinda looks like tetris as the sizes vary and if you stare at it for 2 minutes without blinking,  your mind will start playing tricks as it will give a rainfall illusion.

Deete specializes in Organic drinks.  There were a couple of choices,  be it hot,  ice blended,  tea infused and smoothies.  They also have pastries, bingsu and sandwiches.  He initially wanted Americano but i said Latte is way cooler 128512.  Cafe Latte it is!

The coffee was surprisingly good.  Light and tastes healthy.  It's not reeking of strong coffee flavor that it overpowers the milk.  Proportions are spot on.

The coffee is for him as i was dead set on satisfying my green tea compulsions with their bingsu.  I will write a separate review for their Green Tea Bingsu

Tried out this organic cafe in ccm, upon entering they offer a lot of chocie in both drinks and cafe food, they offer gogams (sandwiches), pastries, bingsu and the drinks well they're too many to mention though.

I ordered their traditional red bean bingsu and a slice of carrot cake, sweetness overload. 128561 bingsu was good, they provide condensed milk on the side but i rather have it as is, all elements worked out pretty good, the multigrain cereal, mochi, redbean, and cashew was like a party in your mouth, nutty crunchy, sweet, chewy, cold, and milky 128523 each ingredient had a generous serving so every scoop was enjoyable, the carrot cake on the other hand was also delicious, the chocolate frosting was not the typical rich chocolate, it's quite thicker and has a bittersweet taste and the carrot cake was moist and large strip of carrots gave some crisp to it. Overall i enjoyed it, will try their drinks and other pastries next time

2nd time here this week. Finally tried their bingsu. I ordered the red bean bingsu. There's not a lot of customers so it was served pretty quick (10mins, maybe). This is the solo size only. It has red beans, bits of rice cake, ground oreo (i think!) and milky shaved ice. The shaved ice tastes a bit bland, not too sweet. So if you like your bingsu on the sweet side, maybe you can request to add more sugar. But I like it though coz the red beans were sweet already. The bitty rice cakes were a bit hard than I expected. 1 less star this time. The place is very quiet so I really liked it here while I study for a bit.

Few people on a late Wed evening. I only ordered Iced lemon tea (P150, large). The tea variant is green tea. They have a big place with big tables for groups. Two small tables outside for smokers. I think this just became my choice of cafe for when I'm studying. Serving time was quick for my easy drink.

They serve a bunch of desserts and pastries. I will try their bingsu next time.

I have high expectations about this place, mainly because it has a classy ambience hahaha and to get here, one has to pass by a small walkway. This made it feels exclusive.
So, I got mango smoothie. You know the feeling when - as you order mango something, you can almost taste the sweetness of ripe mangoes? There was that longing....but instead I got mango purée smoothie 128557128557128557128557128557
Fortunately they have a good ambience... 128527

Don't let the rating deter you from trying this place out! I just didn't like what I ordered today...128517

De Ete Organic Cafe is another Korean import that has been brought to the country... They offer coffees, teas, homemade breads and even desserts... We decided to hangout here this afternoon.

The place is located on the fourth floor of Century City Mall, beside the now defunct Caliburger... The cafe is huge and very inviting... I like the greens and browns al over, which visually drove the point across that it was all about healthy living... The ceiling is a lovely focal point, btw...

You order at the cashier, pay, and wait for your name to be called. Then get your drink at the counter. Easy peasy!

So I asked about their bestsellers in the coffee department, being a hardcore coffee drinker. I picked the iced hazelnut latte; the price of the medium size was not bad at P160. A misunderstanding transpired at that moment, thus I was unable to ask whether they have nonfat or soy milk options. I also wasn't able to ask if the drink had whipped cream on top. FYI, it did and lots of it... I don't like whipped cream!128557

When I got the drink, I was already disappointed by the whipped cream. And it was sooooo sweet! Even when the ice was fully melted, I still found it too sweet for my taste. I think maybe I'll skip this and try the mokaccino next time...

The chairs were very comfy and the place is a really nice place to hangout in. Not that many sockets though, so bring your powerbanks. They make up for it with their fast wifi! 128588

Isha S is right... The staff were very friendly actually. Save for the bad incident. But no need to get into that anymore. I appreciated the heartfelt apology and I liked how everything was handled by everyone. They are on soft opening, so they will really be working out some quirks in the beginning. It won't stop me from coming back, that's all I'm going to say.

I didn't order any food during this visit, so none to report at present. But I still have their homemade bread with me, which is hopefully good.

I would very much recommend the place to people who just want to chill or those who want to hold meetings at cafes. I, myself, am looking forward to trying their fruit smoothies next time!128522 Enjoy it healthy, of course!

P.S.
They will be opening a second branch in Megamall soon!128522

There's this new Korean cafe on the rooftop area of Century City Mall that offers organic, healthy and delicious food and drinks.

Upon entering, you'll notice how nice the place looks! Spacious area accentuated with dark wood and pretty hanging yellow lights.

The place offers coffee-based drinks, smoothies, as well as pastries and bing sus. Prices appeared to be reasonable and not super expensive.

Staff were courteous, polite and really pleasant overall. 128522 It was nice talking to them and having a chat about the menu and what was good.

I eventually decided on their Green Tea Bing su in the regular size (200 php or so I think) as well as their Honey Baguette Ball (60 php). The bing su came in a metal bowl and was composed of finely shaved ice topped with red bean, mochi balls, cashews, ice cream and green tea syrup. This was good! 128077 I really liked the honey baguette ball as well haha. Basically a baguette in ball form, divided up in the middle, drizzled with honey and served with cashews and whipped cream on the side. Super simple but tasted awesome!

I would definitely come back! 128522 Perfect place to chill, have coffee and bond over their pastries.
