Hidden in the depths of wellworth department store of ayala fairview terraces is a filipino resto name Dekada. I always see this resto signage when our car is passing the mall but never got to visit it since its inside the dep store. Last night we were choosing where to it and the decision was a filipino resto. Thats when my brother remember dekada.

Dekada theme inside the resto is old vintage filipino history. The crew was well accomodating and attentive to our needs. I love their menu which has various filipino historical figure connected to their menu. Not sure how they relate it. Sample of what I remember was the dalandan juice was named marcos??? I don't get the connection. Maasim ba si marcos? Hehe..

For the food we tried their lengua, fried tilapia, beef salpicao and gising-gising. I did like their lengua but I suggest that they should slice it thinner to avoid some though part in the lengua. The beef salpicao is delicious. Gising gising was a little bit spicy when you are lucky to get the siling labuyo.

Overall great experience. They serve great filipino dessert too.

Upon entering the restaurant I thought the theme was vintage ofcourse from the word "Dekada" huge paintings hanging at the wall, the place is a bit dim. Food is meh! Bulalo taste like nilaga and the beef wasn't tender enough and needs more salt, Garlic buttered shrimp is so-so maybe I expected something from it, Adobo sa gata was too salty didn't like the combination of the two, Beef salpicao was the worst it's not tender just taste like wine no salt at all, out of all the dishes we tried Gising-gising is the only viand we liked but not that much and the fact that it is much more cheaper than the others really dissapoints us. Watermelon shake is good, Dalandan juice has an after taste of bitterness at the end, Guinomis is like guinataan&halo-halo combined it taste great but a bit sweet for my liking. Dunno if we chose the wrong dishes because lots of people are giving credits, All in all we like the ambiance over food.

We ordered group set meal for 6 persons worth 1,999.00 ( sorry I forgot the name) Food title on their menu were also cute I felt I was reviewing for my history exam when I was in elementary. Food was ok. Dilis rice was good. Serving of Kare-Kare was small, almost no meat at all. Crispy pata was tasty and the rest were also good. Place was nice too.

I love the ambiance!
Tried their bicol express, well its not the usual look of the bicol express we all know, really different way of eating it., but i prefer the typical one.
This one is not much of a special
But i liked their bagoong rice 128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻

Food
Delicious! But hoping the rice is just plain so that it'll compliment to all of the meats.

Loved everything about this resto!!! Place and overall ambience is very Filipino. And their dishes were very flavorful and one of a kind. Very generous with the servings of their specialties. Price? Worth every peso!!!

You wanna take your family (especially grandparents) to a Filipino-themed resto?? THIS IS THE ONE!!! 128077

Loved all the different variants of rice especially the Adobo Rice! (See above photo!) Good Filipino food!

Noticed their service was a little slow though.

Will be back for more!

Located inside Wellworth department store in Fairview Terraces.

The place feels very Filipino and antique. Even the menu, they named the foods very classic. There's Marcos, Dekada, Magellan, King Phillip II, etc.

Here's our order....we had buttered shrimps, adobo rice, lengua, pinakbet, sinigang, and some refreshing drinks.

Buttered shrimps taste good. I love the garlicky and buttery sauce. The adobo rice is filled with toppings and is very flavorful. Lengua is soft and creamy. The pinakbet is not so good. The veggies aren't that fresh. The sinigang is good. I got a Dekada iced tea. It's bottomless. So yay!

We saw this restaurant while we were shopping with my cousins at wellworth department store. We try out their best dishes and it was very delicious.

We ordered palabok and it tasted very good.
I hope that they will still continue doing their best in cooking so that more costumers will come to their restaurant at the same time they will become famous too!!!!

Don't quit in making more new delicious recipes!!!!!!

The place is hidden! It is in the Wellworth department store! One of the newest stores in town, by the way!

It is a perfect way to get your tummy filled after shopping!!! There are two restos in the department store. The other one being banapple! Since I have been there already, We chose this instead!

I loved their adobo rice, spareribs sinigang, arroz caldo, butter shrimps and their dalandan juice (unli!!!!)

I didn't like the sago gulaman, it was too sweet. The pinakbet wasn't good too cause it was not so flavorful.

The service was good. The staff were nice. The wifi wasn't working though.

It's my first time to visit the mall. Got hungry after a short stroll 128540 and decided to dine in this resto. Dekada is inside Wellworth dept store.. so you're obligated to buy something before you can eat there. Of course I'm just kidding about my last statement 128521.

We're only supposed to be eating snacks but after seeing their menu we didn't hesitate to order their main course! Very Pinoy! I loved this place 128525. I also learned that they have a branch in Glorietta 3 so maybe I'll just visit there next time since it's more accessible.
