Place - 4️ very spacious but they made used of the space and it led us feel like the tables are too close to each other.
Service - 4️ received our order for more than 30mins. They gave us a complimentary pancake pops to lessen our dismay.
Food - 4.5️
What we ordered: (for two pax)
Ultimate Omelette - (beef and mushroom omelette with hash brown and bread) really big serving! The hash brown is something everyone must try!
French toast - for only 75 pesos, you can have 2 big slices of toast. Loved the way they filled the bread with custard in the middle.
Side salad - add on for 75 pesos; reasonable serving. Composed of romaine, cherry tomatoes and onions. I must say, also loved the dressing which has a sweet and sour taste.
Pancake Pops- complimentary (free) ; deep fried pancake balls with maple syrup as dip. Liked!
Fresh lemonade with oregano - php135; i think it's too sweet for a lemonade but worth a try.

"Denny's is for winners!"
I've been curious about this place ever since I heard this line during one of the most popular episodes of my favorite sitcom. I wonder if there are any fans here on |ooloo? #GreendaleIsWhereIBelong
When I found out they're opening here, I got excited as well since I heard mostly good things from my online community. Apparently I was willing to wake up with only 4 hours' sleep on a weekend to join fellow |oolooers to try it out.
I got here late, and there was already a queue at 8am (that only got longer). Luckily we already had a table, thanks to Sandy P arriving early. While they had the pancakes, I picked the Belgian Waffle slam - because of course I will pick the one with the syrup traps . These were big servings, a really thick waffle, two eggs, two pieces of sausage and two strips of bacon. Overall the taste was ok. The waffle was springy rather than crispy though, so 1 pt to PH there. Egg scramble was ok, not the creamy mess I preferred but pwede na rin. Bacon was disappointingly small, crispiness was almost as I preferred it. The sausage was nicely packed, and with good flavor.
I had coffee, which is passable. The additional side of hash browns are better, it's not McDo crispy but at least you know it's grated from an actual potato.
It took some time for my order to come out I'm getting the sense that with the full house, the kitchen is unable to cope quickly with the high demand. I did like that our server approached us to let us know my order is taking some time, and is expected to come out in 10 minutes.

Despite of it being the new kid on the block, I'd like to try the lighter things first, since I was stuffed from a heavy buffet and wanted to check out the happenings at Denny's Cafe ️🏻
Since it's 24/7, we got the nightcap mode....
A seemingly shot portion of their Special Hot Chocolate with options of either Bailey's or Kahlua....well, the hot choco seemed like a good sauce for churros and I was kinda wondering why my Bailey's don't seem to mix thoroughly as it keeps settling on top.....so I requested for whipped cream and tried mixing it again.... Had this saucey texture so when I drank at it half-way I requested for hot water and that's when I got my ideal hot choco texture, slightly saturated 🏻️ it was like brewing potions to get my comfort zone.... but I love hot choco and I also love bailey's! Hehehehe ️️️
Also tried the Caramel Apple Pie Crisp....surprisingly yummy! Fresh apples with caramel sauce, topped with crispy apple bits and premium vanilla ice cream! Definitely hit the spot! Best enjoyed when shared ️🏻
And so.... Still have to conquer more items, more reasons to come back again! ️🏻️

Was glad to know Denny's Diner would open in Manila and waited months for this to open. On first impression place seem the typical American diner you see in the movies with a refined modern look. The menu was overwhelming and I wanted to try a lot and I thought this is an American diner and servings are good to share. Had this three items from the menu: lumberjack (2 sausages, ham slice, 2 bacon strips, 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and fries instead of hash brown because the staff said they are still trying to perfect the making of hash brown ), bistek tagalog and arroz caldo. The arroz caldo was spot on good, but I found the bistek lacking in flavor and both were good for one only. Orders came after two follow ups maybe because they are newly opened (3 days old at time of visit) and a lot of patrons at 7am on a weekend. Overall still glad to have dined here and enjoyed my meal and definitely coming back to try more.

Denny's!!! I'm so happy you will be open 24/7 for lyfff!!! If we decide to spend the night at Palace Pool Club/Valkyrie, we have you to save us in the morning! Thank God!
Ok, so I tried a couple of things today. From breakfast, to lunch to dinner meals, to drinks to late nite snacks.
‼️‼️Bourbon Ribs (P425) - comes with fries but you can opt to have it served with mashed potatoes/rice. If you love sweet savory dishes, this is for you. If you love meat, THIS IS DEFINITELY YOURS. It was good but I didn't quite like it bec im not fond of sweet savory food and I'm trying to cut down eating meat. Nevertheless, this meal is still worth every penny!
‼️‼️Lumberjack Slam (P495) - Big breakfast meal that comes with two buttermilk pancakes, a slice of grilled ham, two bacon strips, two sausage links, two eggs, toast. Served with hash browns. But since Denny's is still on soft opening, we were only served wth fries and not hash browns :( it was good and sulit because it was really heavy. It's probably good for 2-3 people with small appetite, 2 with medium appetite and 1 for the big eater.
I loved the pancakes! It was really filling, buttery and milky just the way I like it!!! I'd probably order this again or maybe i'll try the others under the Slam category.
‼️Cheeseburger (P475) - The patty was a bit bland but that is maybe because I'm used to really tasty flavourful burgers. Their patty is just simple - seasoned with salt&pepper. I'm not a burger person so I really didn't enjoy it.
‼️‼️Fried chicken platter (P295) - 3pcs chicken with fries, served with brown gravy. I love chicken ️ this explains why I loved this the most. Haha I love how tasty the chicken was and how well it went with the flavourful brown gravy!!! I wouldve paired it with mashed potatoes rathen than fries tho, but it was still a good choice!! ️
Do note that Denny's is part of the Bistro Group. So if you have a Bistro card, head there tomorrow so you can avail of the 30% discount every Mondays!!!
I'd probably go back here once they're all stable and have their operations improved. I know they're still on soft-opening so whatever stuff they lack, I can still forgive. ️ They still have time to improve it!!! I'd see you again after a couple of months

Congratulations to Bistro Group for bringing in another American restaurant to Manila!
Went here on its first day and arrived around 730-8am. Line was not bad but the restaurant was already full around this time. We were accommodated in less than 30 minutes.
The restaurant was bustling with people : families, call center workers, some foreigners, Mommies.
The vibe and look is quite similar to Moe's.
Bistro cardholders are entitled to 40% off on opening day, thus, took advantage of this promotion. We were lucky that line wasn't too bad and service wasn't bad either contrary to other reviews.
I didn't expect a seamless service as this is just the 1st day.
On to the food.. We ordered the following:
️Brewed Coffee (Free for bistro cardholder but subject to tax + SC )
- I originally wanted to order Hot Choco drink but I was told by the server that hot choco is not the same as the one on the pic. Thus, I settled with coffee.
-Good and fresh. Ask for an extra glass of water as it can get a bit too sour and sweet.
*Philly CheeseSteak Omelette
- comes with bread, jam & cream cheese, plus supposedly hash brown (but was served fries) . Hubby said it was good.
*Choco Peanut Butter overload Pancakes
- comes with 2 pcs large pancakes, 2 eggs (any style), strips of bacon, 2 sausages and supposedly hash brown ( but they served it with fries which they actually forgot to serve at first. No biggie!)
Servings are huge. I suggest getting any of the dishes with pancakes then order an omelette. This can already feed 2 regulat people or up to 3 light eaters. :)
Brewed coffee is good but can still be improved (more kick pls). It was a bit diluted.
Suggestion: to make the coffee refillable (or add a premium for refillable coffee) to live up to what's written in the cup " At a diner, your coffee mug is never half emplty" (something like that)
I suggest for people who have not tried Denny's to feel the novelty of eating in an American diner- no frills, fast service, huge American breakfast.
The price looks expensive at first (Php375-395 or more for pancake or omelette) but it actually is cheaper since servings are huge compared to Pancake House. Same pricing for IHOP.
Overall, we paid less than 700 for all these only because I have my card but without it, it may be a bit expensive for two persons.
I will go back with the kids since I'm not a big pancake eater (i like Pinoy brekky) but I'm a big coffee drinker thus the suggestion above.
We will be back when hype has died down and service have improved. Despite some misses, I would still give them a 🏼. You can't question the customer service of Bistro. Always superb. :)

I would chalk this dismal experience as a first day birthing pain for them, will still try and go back after a month or two, I guess, when the fad has died down.
1. Waiting time for our orders averaged 30 mins (understandable, there were a lot of people)
2. They got our orders wrong: Asked for my Norweigan Salmon to have a double serving of veggies and to remove the rice. It still got served with the rice. A different server promised to give the extra serving and it arrived after 20 mins (I was done with the salmon).
3. We ordered Cajun shrimp and it took them 30 mins to tell us that it was out of stock already.
4. All american slammer was served with RICE as a replacement for HASH BROWNS. Where in heavens place can you imagine an ALL AMERICAN BREAKFAST PLATE (think toast, sausage, fries, bacon and scrambled egg) SERVED WITH RICE? And they also didnt tell us about the hash browns being out of stock. We only found out when they served it to us.
5. My order of Fit Slam hasnt been served for 1hr and 30 mins. When I followed up, they said that their P.OS machine malfunctioned and wasnt able to get my order. Good thing the salmon arrived otherwise I would have gone beast mode on them.
6. I can hear the chefs shouting at each other (ASAN NA YUNG ORDER? ANG BAGAL NIYO! ANO NA?)
7. The plating of the food looked rushed and haggard.
8. Because of all this, I couldnt say I enjoyed the food. I wasnt able to take pics as I was really hungry and disappointed with the food. Id rather go to the other Bistro restos for now. Or IHOP. And I dont even like IHOP.
+++ Super plus points though for Arwen, our server. The 2 stars is for her. She was extremely apologetic and did her best to make up for the kitchen's shortcomings.

Denny's on their first day is a total mess. They get orders wrong, takes them over an hour to serve simple orders, they replace parts of the order without asking first, and food is generally meh.
That said, customer service is generally okay. Hope they improve soon.

"Actually this is too basic, I can actually do this in my kitchen"
🔘Ribeye Bistek Tagalog for Php345.00 (Tender ribeye beef slices sauteed in soy sauce, calamansi juice, black pepper, topped with red onion slices. Served with two eggs and garlic rice) - ️️️️️ 5/5
