Diamond Hotel is probably one of the best hotels in Manila, and I was fortunate to spend a night here with Oliver. I chanced upon a discount at Agoda, and booked an overnight stay before our flight to Coron. We stayed at their Deluxe Regency room. which has one king size bed, sofa, bath, fridge, minibar, safe, and other luxuries. Since our room is second to the end of the hallway, the view is half city / half Manila Bay. We arrived late in the afternoon just in time to catch Manila Bay's majestic sunset at the window. 127749

The hotel is located near a mall, which is convenient as we still need to buy supplies before our holiday. We also had our dinner at the mall instead of splurging at the hotel's buffet hehe. We also didn't have a breakfast option as our flight is on the morning after. Check-out is a breeze. 10024

I attended a wedding there last year and had high expectations. The place itself looks elegant.

The food is another story. The servings were so small, and the staff was terrible. Guests in our table are already on their 2nd course, and we're still waiting for the 1st.

It was a very unforgettable experience.

We Celebrated Mother's Day here, still a perfect hotel for staycation with family. This time we were able to spend time at the pool area and the jacuzzi. Pool is safe for kids cause it's just 3-4. Ft. You can just laydown at those rest chairs and have a sunkissed skin. You can also order some snacks for sharing. 9786128077

Stayied here for a nearby convention for 3 nights. The room was big enough , the bed was comfortable. Was not able to see the gym and pool since the hotel for this stay was just a bed and breakfast place for me. The toiletries offered were not so good though. They should know that girls appreciate great smelling high quality toiletries.
For the buffet breakfast that came with the room, there is a lot of space for improvement as to service and quality of food offered. The number of food they offered was enough but they were not really good. The days I had breakfast, the servers were always dropping plates, utensils, etc. When I was given my table and left to get my food, my table was given to someone else! Would I stay here again? Yes probably if needed, but will probably not wake up too early for breakfast.

Another thumbs up rating with this hotel! We stayed here overnight. The room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The ambiance to the room was also quite relaxing. They provided much needed equipments like iron, blow dryer, refrigerator etc. My room was also facing Manila bay, which made it more wonderful to stay in. The breakfast buffet was also huge! Their were a lot of choices. From different breakfast cuisines, to different kinds of bread, waffles and cereals. The food was delicious and tummy filling. The downside to this hotel? It was crowded with flight attendants from different airlines worldwide. Although you could also say it was a plus since you could see how amazing other cultures are. I would recommend this hotel when you're staying in Manila 128522

Yes, I'm from Manila and no, I'm not in sales... Nagkataon lang ang mga hotel stays...128517

I have been accompanying my aunt to her annual conventions for about 10 years now... Ever since I started grad school and I had no particular or set direction, I was already her constant companion...128513 I'm pretty close to my aunt and I love having this time to spend together... This is our thing, year after year... Sometimes, we are lucky enough to be able to stay at a hotel... This was one of those times...128522

This was one of the hotels that I enjoyed staying at during the convention... You don't always end up at the fancy hotels near PICC, but there are several shuttles avaible throughout the season so that isn't a problem... I liked their cozy rooms and very comfortable beds! The rooms are a pretty good size, so no need to tip-toe around the room... I love the bathroom, as you can see... Very spacious and clean, with a lovely rainshower... I was not about to take a shower, btw... I also liked the view of Manila Bay from the room...128525

Their breakfast buffet has a good selection of items and you can fill yourself up with delicious food to start the day right... Corteous staff too! Never had the time to explore the hotel due to the activities though...128546

We love this hotel for their spacious room, pretty and pleasant swimming area and the really nice servers. Their buffet spread is also quite impressive!

We checked in here this year using our Diamond hotel membership vouchers and for its price and their accommodations, I'd say the rates are not bad at all.

We took my baby swimming and the pool had a lot of chairs, it also has a heated jacuzzi option and a wonderful waterfall display where you can hide away and relax for a moment. They even serve great pool bar chow and the servers are very attentive and kind.

The rooms are spacious and my baby roamed around freely. They also gave us a baby cot which I think shows their care and concern for their guests. Everyone was very accommodating. We tried their room service food as well and they're not bad at all for a 5-star hotel! They were affordable and very delicious meals! I definitely recommend this hotel because they provide a very pleasant atmosphere for their guests and isn't that what you really pay for on staycations?

Our "default" choice when we want to have an impromptu staycation. Their lobby is not that impressive but the hotel is strategically located in a place where you can have good view, a nearby mall, church and even a casino. There are also lots of food choices outside if you don't want to eat in one of their restaurants. However, I strongly recommend guests to try their inhouse restos. Yurakuen is perfect for Japanese food lover like me. They offer ala carte and teppanyaki buffet as well. Guests should also try their famous ube ensaymada and baked cheesecake ice cream. It's a must when you're there! Rooms are spacious, as well as their bathrooms. Ideal for families with children since their pool
is kid-friendly. Hanggang dibdib ko lang ata. Haha

Tip:
Their room attendants are very accommodating. Just be nice to them if you wanna ask for extra supplies (water or toiletries).

I love that I can get a view of Manila Bay from most if not all the rooms thanks to the way they designed the place. I've stayed here a few times in the last 12 months, and each stay has been very comfortable and relaxed. Easy check-in and check-out process, polite and warm staff, and comfortable clean rooms all the time.

The only downside I've seen so far is that the hotel pool is pretty tiny - not a big deal if all you want to do is relax on a lounge chair and maybe take a quick dip, but not for people like me who actually want to do laps. Service at the poolside (to order drinks etc) can also be quite slow as it seems that everything comes from Corniche (the restaurant inside) and at certain times of day, there isn't a dedicated wait staff by the pool.

HORRIBLE VALET SERVICE. Seriously parang hindi hotel! My stay was okay naman pero nasira ng dahil sa valet service nila. VERY RUDE PEOPLE. Ugh. Parang gusto ko na lang lumipat ng hotel! Never again.

Also, I paid for my stay here so I have every right to be treated with respect.

Had a great sleep last night. The wide selection of pillows gives me a comfortable zzzz. Since this trip is complementary that goes with buffet breakfast and that review will follow soon. The rooms and amenities is what a basic 4-5 star hotel
Should offer. Loving and enjoying everything the hotel has to offer not to mention the location which is favorable to me and hubby.

They say the best things in life are free. Well I can relate and let me add that it's cool to have best friends who share their free vouchers for hotel accommodations ha ha.
The voucher entitled us to stay in one of the executive suites with a great view of Manila Bay and free dinner/breakfast at Corniche.
The room was huge and had a living room separate from the bedroom.
Pool was not as big as Sofitel though but the kids had so much fun swimming.
With Grace G and Peachy C.

I am so impressed with how Diamond Hotel and its staff take care of their guests. They're all very efficient and professional. They reply to e-mails right away and I think that is very commendable. Special thanks to Ms. Ria Galvez, Sales Director, for all the help you gave me. Also to The Reservations Department, thank you! You were all so nice. :)
