Dicofi looks very unassuming from the outside so we were shookt when we dicovered how cute and dainty it is on the inside. Definitely not the hole-in-the-wall restaurant I had imagined it to be. Love that they put effort into making the place look pretty!

I've been craving for banhmi ever since my Hanoi trip last year so that's what I ordered here. And I have to say, Dicofi's banhmis are legit! My favorite part was the bread--crunchy on the outside but sooo soft and warm when you bite into it. I also got to taste their pancake and it was probably the thinnest, crispiest one I've tried yet. I loved the spiral of spicy sauce on top of it.

Will definitely be back because the place is charming, food's great, prices are affordable, and the owners are friendly.

We meet again DiCofi! This is the fourth stop of our Food Crawl with Clients a couple of weeks back.

DiCofi makes me giddy every single time. Why? I love Vietnamese Coffee!

I was pleasantly surprised with what they did to the place. It is 10x bigger than before. Bright and spacious. The usage of white makes it homey and conducive to chilling.

Anyway, i got the usual - Iced Vietnamese Coffee extra creamy. I love the strong coffee kick mixed with the milk.

I am not a coffee fan.. I drink coffee but I don't like the too sweet or the too strong ones. I just want it milky (or sometimes the chocolatey ones) w the slightest hint of coffee (just enough to keep me focused, alert, and awake).

And a good cup of coffee was exactly what I needed one loooooong Saturday as mah homies and I tour our clients around Makati (specifically Poblacion) area.

DiCofi was recommended by our homie Jai sine he liked the coffee here when he first visited this place. When it comes to Vietnamese food (aside from all things sweet and caramel), Jai is the right person to ask! 128521128521

They have 4 coffee options available. They differ by "strength" with 1 being the strongest and 4 the lightest. They are all priced the same (110 pesos) and you can either get the iced or hot version.

Strength 1: Black Coffee (Coffee + Sugar Syrup)
Strength 2: Vietnamese Coffee (Default - Coffee + Milk + Condensed Milk)
Strength 3: White Coffee (Viet Coffee but w more milk)
Strength 4: Iced Latte (White Coffee + Sugar Syrup)

But don't worry because you can always ask the uber friendly staffs to customize your drink. You just have to tell them what you want - icy, milky, sweet, or intense/strong. And that's exactly what I did.

Ordered the default Vietnamese coffee (Iced), but asked them to add more milk and less condensed milk (because sugar and I don't like anything that's too sweet). I was supposed to ask for less ice because I don't like anything too cold as well (lola tastebuds, sorry! 128518128523), but even w more milk added and less condensed milk, the coffee was still too strong and sweet for me so I asked for more ice and more fresh milk. After finding the perfect blend, I was able to finally enjoy the coffee. Saved some for Ony so he can try it as well. And yes, he also liked it! 128521

PLACE is spacious now after the renovation. Also perfect for when you need to work or study. SERVICE was excellent. Very helpful and nice servers! 128077🏼

My craving for Vietnamese iced coffee brought me to DiCofi. I already had a glass at Wildflour but it lacked the strong deep flavor I was looking for. I've been here two years ago and I remember enjoying a cup so I figured I could swing by again.

I was delighted as soon as I entered the place. They have expanded their teeny tiny establishment! The space now is decent and well lit. It doesn't look crowded anymore.

The Vietnamese Iced coffee was legit. It had the dark taste but I felt it lacks in the creamy department. I ordered another glass and that's when I found out that I can request to have the coffee to my own liking. I ask them to add more milk so the second glass was a winner.

I was supposed to settle with what I came for when I saw on the menu that they have Banh Mi too. My heart skipped a beat! The traditional Vietnamese sandwich is a favorite of mine. I ordered DiCofi style Banh Mi and it had ham, fried egg, cucumber, liver pate, cilantro and a good amount of hot sauce for the spicy kick.

The baguette was love. It was still warm, airy as it should be with proper crispiness from its outer body. I wasn't too happy with the filling. I wanted more cilantro and liver pate.

I tried the Chicken Banh Mi to give them a second chance but I only find this alright. I would still come back for the iced coffee and probably try their Vietnamese pizza and Beef stir fried noodles next time.

When we didn't make the cutoff in 8cuts, me and my friend just decided to find a nearby restaurant to satisfy our cravings. I actually let her choose this time and I was bit cranky since we wasted an Uber ride for nothing. It was really a long walk to DiCoFi! I was a bit skeptical at first since I wasn't really a fan of eating international foods such as Japanese, Vietnamese etc., I was only tolerating American/French food (don't judge me). Anyways, the small cafe is really instagrammable and it's a good place to chill since the place isn't really crowded, or me and my friends just went at a late time.

The menu was quite affordable, ranging from P100-P200 can already get you a meal. We ordered their pizza, it was a combination of different ingredients. I'm quite disappointed since the pizza was the size of a paper plate, I honestly expected a bigger one! Thought bonus points, still, for the taste. We also ordered the banana shake and the apple-banana shake! And it was the best thing I've ever tasted, the combination of apple and banana got me shaking. Though I didn't like the container of the shakes, it was just a big white plastic cup with their logo on it.

Finally i was able to Dicofi!!

Raisa Z treated me for a drink here after I booked us for two travel destinations next year. 127881

As for the coffee, the coffee was very strong for me. It really tastes like an espresso with ice. It has a kind of sour-y after taste but i think it is because of its strongness.

The value for money was okay because for 95 pesos, I was awake for several hours hahaha unlike paying for 140-170 and got the same results. Hahaha

Will go back here to get my caffeine fix for finals! 128149127881

To cap off the day, the group decided to check out DeCofi. This unassuming coffee shop packs a punch with their Vietnamese iced coffee. Strong burnt flavor and sweet.

The coffee was just perfect to remove all the satiated taste from eating burgers.

DiCofi. A small coffee joint tucked within the dizzying streets of Makati.

Don't be fooled by the cute coffee cup with the goofy smile, this coffee packs a punch. I needed a quick caffeine fix, dropped by DiCofi for a taste of Vietnam. This is how i want my coffee, strong with a hint of sweetness. I read somewhere that Vietnamese coffee uses condensed milk as their sweetener and it works well, the sweetness of the milk doesnt overpower the coffee flavor. Each sip will awaken every sleeping cell in your body.

Who needs Starbucks when you can have good old fashioned coffee for half the price.

I was so eager to try this and I'm happy I did. Legit Vietnamese Coffee 128114🏻

The taste of the coffee was really strong and I love how they were able to pull off a strong yet creamy iced coffee. Only 95 pesos. Super worth it! We can't wait to go back Niki B. Must try!!! 10024

I'm so sad I just got to try this, especially now that our company is moving to Chino Roces.128546

Tried this because my boyfriend wasn't satisfied with what he ate at the Salcedo Market. He ordered Vietnamese Sticky Rice, and we both had the Vietnamese Iced Coffee.

The Vietnamese Sticky Rice was amazing (and interestingly colorful)! It had simple toppings, like chorizo, salty shrimps, pork floss and egg, but when mixed together, it was like a party in your mouth. Best of all, it was only 99 pesos.128525

The Iced Coffee was sweet but really strong. One of the best iced coffees I've tried so far. It's so good, and you can really taste the coffee, unlike other iced coffees from other establishments. The 95 peso price tag was worth it.

I will definitely go back if I want a light meal and/or really good coffee. Next must try: their banh mi!

I can't believe this place has been right across my barber shop all this time and I haven't noticed it!

2nd venue for the #TeamClingyxDoc birthday celebration had us all moving across Makati from Your Local to this little coffee shop. It's a really small place (I think we easily filled up the room with space for maybe one more table). Their coffee is relatively inexpensive at 95, but boy does it pack a punch! I took one sip and felt the bitterness, despite the condensed milk. The others even have stories of palpitations after drinking the coffee. I guess it's best to take if you need to finish something late at night and you wanna get a head start on the caffeine.

As always, enjoyed the conversations and the company, but the coffee wasn't bad either! If you're ever in the area and need an instant caffeine fix then it's a good idea to drop by!

This was my second visit and i can't believe I ordered the same drink - an apple and banana shake! This time it was huge!! Everyone reacted to how large my drink was! Not tabo levels naman but i couldn't finish it so i dumped it in the fridge and had some for breakfast this morning! Woah-hoh, whaddya know, this morning's dose of fiber was brought to you by yesterday's drink.

I wanted to hold my drink and include everyone from #teamclingy who was present for doc April H's birthday but my arms had no talent. The place is very quaint that on the way here i was thinking if we'd fit, but we like being too close for comfort that we did fit! Haha!

Yea, going back for the coffee next time! I freakin' should!

We continued our conversation (asaran, green jokes and lokohan make up the alleged conversation) at DiCofi. Tried the strong cafe sua da, felt the palpitations immediately! Loved it!

The place was small and the A/C wasn't working properly... But I didn't mind... Good strong affordable coffee trumps everything!128526 P95/cup!

Legit Iced Vietnamese Coffee!

Very affordable at 95/cup. I wanted to get another cup, but I'm scared of palpitations that might come after. 128514

Place is really small, and a bit warm. So sorry to the other patrons that we drove out because of our noise. 128517

How I wish they'd open a branch closer to my office!

What to do when you're done eating but still want to hang out eh DICOFI. See what I did there? Hahaha 128517

After our mini-anniversary and birthday bash (for April H), we decided to transfer to Dicofi and see why #teamclingy was raving about it.

Try their Vietnamese coffee. It's really strong but smooth. It's one of the closest recipes that resembles the legit Viet coffee.

Awesome place, awesome coffee, and of course awesome company.

Will be back for more!
