Hubby was craving for Barbecue after we dropped off Lola in Marikina. We remembered this spot across the hospital which served great BBQ. It seems like this is a new restaurant already but since there was BBQ on their menu we gave it a try.

On the table
🔹Pork Barbecue - great flavor but it took a long time to arrive. Since it was late afternoon, they probably had to start up the grill and didn't expect customers yet.
🔹Inihaw na Pusit - stuffed with onions, tomatoes and maybe ginger. Squid tasted fresh and it wasn't chewy.
🔹Ensaladang Talong - a steal for the price. I would have enjoyed this more if the bagoong was salty instead of sweet. The cucumbers were a nice touch.
🔹Lechon Kawali - Aligue Overload - i ordered this because both the meat and the rice were supposed to be flavored with aligue. They tasted great but the aligue flavor wasn't exactly there. Some Lechon Kawali pieces were too fried and hard to chew that my jaw hurt. This meal came with unli rice but the second serving was plain rice. It was served with Iced Tea too.

The place isn't well lit and feels a bit run down but maybe that is the charm of the place. There is a small stage so there must be some sort of entertainment on some days.

They have group meals that are served boodle fight style, individual meals and platters for sharing.

Overall, the food was good and prices were reasonable. I would probably go back for the Pork Barbecue and Ensaladang Talong.

*only 2 or 3 cars could park in front of the restaurant
