Looking for a place to eat some dessert and just kill time when we got to Puerto Princesa. Remembered that I used to go to their cafe along the main road.

Settled on Blueberry Cheesecake and didn't regret my decision because the Cheesecake was light and creamy and didn't feel like it had a lot of gelatin that normally bakeshops would use.

One slice is only 90php.

If you coukd, choose their branch downtown as the food there is better. I've tried Panini on both branches, and that at the downtown is bigger and tastier.

Dont try their brewed iced tea.

Service is both slow.

Went to Robinsons to buy another bag because all my pasalubong won't fit in my backpack.

I havent seen places for cakes and milk tea and when I passed by Divine Sweets, I saw their cakes and they all looked delicious. Tried their Obsession Cake which tasted like ref cake oe ice box cake kung ano man yun . it was good. I tried another best seller, the Amnesia Cake. It was the usual chocolate cake and it was bad. The cake was tough because they stored it with freezing temp. Flavor, meh..

Went here alone because my cousins decided to go to Mang Inasal, just right beside this resto. I'm like 128528 Why would you go to a resto na meron din sa Manila. Why not try something different da buh. 128513

I find that Divine Sweets have some resemblance to Cafe Mary Grace. First, their logo, if I remembered is a woman baking/cooking in a silhouette form too. Second, they also have a version of Mango Bene, it's called Mango Torte and third, they have that short messages written in paper but posted on their wall. :)

So, I ordered their Creamy Chicken Pesto for 140php. It was creamy indeed and delicious. Serving was good enough for a person. For dessert, I had a slice of their Amnesia cake. Layers of chocolate and yema. It's not that sweet but i felt the umay factor at the end.

And I think I just had an amnesia literally, because when I'm about to leave, the staff called my attention and said "Ms sayo to? Naiwan niyo po" and it was the bag of the souvenirs I bought earlier that day. Haha :))

Didn't feel awkward eating alone here tho. Still want to try their other pastries and dishes when I come back. Or maybe when they open a branch here in Manila. 128539
