Dohtonbori Greenhills Branch yesterday was closed for a Private Event. Located at 8 Missouri Greenhills just across Gloria Maris.

It’s a very special day because it was Dohtonbori Philippines 3rd Year Anniversary! 127881🇯🇵🇵🇭

I’m fortunate because I was one of the invited guests together with other food bloggers .128221

This is their first branch , and this is my first time at Dohtonbori Greenhills located at the 2F. But I was able to go to their UP Town Center and SM Megamall Branch already .

This is their first phase of their anniversary. We had the EAT ALL U CAN OKONOMIYAKI & YAKINIKU for only 699 pesos! YES, you heard it right ! You can eat all you want from their selected Okonomiyaki and Yakiniku choices . Available all day everyday in all Dohtonbori stores . Promo is until January 31,2019 only .

The event started at 11am and ends at 1pm. I arrived early and had myself registered. Then we were ushered to our seats .

Appetisers were served first like the Kimchi and the Edamame. Then we had the chicken 127831 karaage! It’s my favourite at Dohtonbori. After that we help in cooking our Okonomiyaki and the Yakiniku. We enjoyed grillin the food while eating .As always , Okonomiyaki is heavy to eat but delicious as always . It’s good for sharing , 4-5 persons. Then Yakiniku was delicious also plus the Cheese 🧀 Tempura ! Then we had matcha 127861 ice cream for dessert . The service was 128588

After that Sir Ian introduced the women behind the success of Dohtonbori Philippines, Mam Kimberly, the President of Dohtonbori. It was an honour to meet her, beautiful inside and out !

There was a raffle also yesterday in partnership with cherry mobile and one of our companions got the prize. Check out also their raffle as they’ll be giving away trip to Japan 🇯🇵 with pocket money 128176. That’s how generous is Dohtonbori Philippines!

They have a special guest whom everyone was crazy about , Tanuki! In Japanese it’s a Racoon, which is the mascot of Dohtonbori. The Tanuki shouts PONPOKOPON when she is happy 128515! Ponpokopon in Japan means “happy tummy “128523

Overall the Eat All you can Okonomiyaki and Yakiniku was a great experience 128076 our tummies were very satisfied and as always , Dohtonbori Philippines was such a generous host all the time . They even gave us cute Tanuki Stuffed Toy. I love my souvenir stuff toy.

Take note of the Terms and Condition of the Eat All You Can promo .
✅ maximum time is 2 hours per person
✅kids have specail discounts for only 299++
✖️not valid in conjunction with other promos or discounts
✖️ additional 1,000 pesos per 100 grams for left overs and for not observing the no sharing no take out policy

So hurry guys , dine and try their Eat All you Can and who knows , you might be the lucky winner who will win the Trip to Japan 🇯🇵 for Two!

This was my first time trying Okonomiyaki! I think there will be a second, third.. fourth, and many more to come. Since it was our first time, we let the server prepare the okonomiyaki. I definitely want to try making them myself on my next visit 128523

So my boyfriend and I was craving for some Japanese food that is not Ramen or Sushi. We found this resto at SM North named 'Dohtonbori' and serves a new variation of Japanese dish - Okonomiyaki. Okonomiyaki as per the crew is a Japanese pancake dish with variety of toppings -Cabbage, Seafoods, seaweed flakes and a lot more depending on your prefered combination as per the menu.

Dohtonburi is the leading okonomiyaki chain which opened its doors for the first time in Manila 3 years ago. There's just something about Japanese food which I always find appealing regardless if it's fast food or authentic. Made reservations for 3 as a catch up dinner with some folks and good thing we did otherwise we would be queued! Ambience, most people said they get the vibe of how an authentic Japanese restaurant feels like and interiors are nicely made.

What we ordered:
Hiroshima Yaki
Quattro Formaggi
Seafood Okonomiyaki
Chicken Karaage
Extra:
Edamame

Almost finished all of our orders. With an average cost of PHP 500.00 for one person, this restaurant won't disappoint. I like the flavor of their okonomiyaki mixed with a thin, crispy layer of crust to balance out the different ingredients used in our order. I couldn't help but order a bowl of rice and had no regrets at all. Take note, I try to limit my carb consumption and happy that I got one for myself. Don't forget to share a bowl of edamame too with your friends to get rid of that umay factor. I shall return, Dohtonburi!

Invited to dinner. The place to do your own cooking of okonomiyaki, beef steak, pork, chicken, prawn cooked in teppan. Their pizza is a best seller

May Ramen pala sa Dohtonbori? But if you are a ramen connoisseur, better skip it and stick with their Okonomiyaki. The Tonkotsu tasted exactly like Nissin's Garlic Tonkotsu Souper Meal instant noodles... What's worse is the after taste it gives, probably from the noodles. Parang yun aftertaste ng Lomi. The Tamago was at least flavored right.

For the Okonomiyaki we went with the one with cheese, I forgot the title. Better consume this fast as the cheese tends to harden overtime, unless you want crunchy cheese.

We also tried the Deluxe Monjayaki, I hope I got that right. 128513 This one looks weird. It kinda looks like 128169 ng 128570 but with all those ingredients mixed in from meat to seafood. It becomes a flurry of flavors with every bite from that small spatula.

But with both Okonomiyaki and Monjayaki they will start tasting the same once you add Japanese Mayo, Bonito Flakes and Nori...

Service was top notch and the place is Wow! 128522

Quick snack at Dohtonbori. We ordered pork yakiniku (180PHp) and mixed okonomiyaki (290PHp).

Good for sharing but if you have a healthy appetite you can choose other dishes on their menu.

I've been wanting to go to this place ever since it was featured on PopTalk - a TV show hosted by Tonipet Gaba featuring some of the latest trends including the most raved and newly opened restaurants in the country. I was really amazed when they featured Dohtonbori and I was more than excited to try their okonomiyaki or Japanese pancakes!

My work schedule had been hectic so I barely had the chance to try it not until I realized the GC handed to me by Looloo will expire in the next 3 days. Lol. So I immediately planned on going here and tagged Jayson J to join me for having okonomiyaki that night. Also, he had already tried Chibo so he would be more critical with his review of this place! 128539

The place is really amazeballs! Haha. It lets you feel that you're in a restaurant in Japan, at least, for an hour or more of your stay. We tried Butatama and Hiroshima Yakimix all for less than a thousand bucks, mostly around 700-ish!

The assigned staff got all the ingredients from the kitchen and laid it on the table with the griddle. It's quite hot so most of the time, I'm thinning distance from the griddle to avoid my face got cooked! Lol. While cooking, he carefully explained to us what he's doing and what's going on. Lol. It's like we're the audience of a cooking demo right in front of us. We were amazed on how the raw ingredients have incredibly turned into these delectable Japanese pancakes. The server also lets us try to play with it and I failed horribly in turning the other side of the pancake! 128514

Gotta love it when they served the pancakes on our plates and shouts, "Ponpokopon!"

I really like how both okonomiyakis were generously filled. Well, we have witnessed how they stuffed the dough with all those ingredients, primarily the cabbage, egg, meat, spring onions, and a lot more so you can really tell how filling it is! To be honest, a piece of okonomiyaki will do for 2 persons but of course depending on your capacities! You can also have unli mayo, and bonito flakes since it's just right on your table so you can have more of it if you want to.

I like the Hiroshima Yakimix maybe because of its various fillings that were quite unusual for this kind of dish - talking' bout the yakisoba stuffed along side with the pork, cabbage, tempura bits, and spring onions. It's my first time to try okonomiyaki and I find it interesting though I'm quite overwhelmed with it. If you ask me, I prefer the Butatama. It might be a bit lesser than the former, but I like it more because it's figuratively (or maybe literally) lesser to digest. Both are tasty and filling, by the way!

Aside from okonomiyaki, they also serve other popular Japanese dishes like Gyu-don, Katsudon, Tempura, Ramen tonkatsu and a lot more!

All the staff has been really courteous and friendly. They're all trained and knowledgeable with the dishes they serve so that's a plus point, especially for first-timers like me who has lots of questions. Lol.

The overall experience is really good! It's exciting to see how all those ingredients on the table turned into delicious and delectable pancakes! It's also a proof of testament that I sucked in cooking. Lol. 128514128079🏼

Will surely go back to try the Four Cheese and 3-meat okonomiyaki! 128076🏽

It was my first time to eat in this restaurant. I was impressed because the ventilation system is very good despite having griddles jn all their tables. The staff are well-trained. They are courteous and you can see that they are focused in what they are doing. I would like to commend the one assigned to our table, Miss Steph. She cooked for us and she was very nice. She was all smiles despite having a lot of customers that day.

My best friend and I ordered the mix okonomiyaki, steak fried rice and the mix yakisoba. They were all so yummy!!!!!!!!! I am impressed becauss it tasted very Japanese.

I will definitely go back to try the other items from their menu.

We tried the four cheese pizza, but my son wanted bacon bits with it. So, we ordered Pork belly and used bits of that with the pizza.
The result?
Very happy children. They loved the pizza.
The okonomiyaki was great. My son who hates vegetables finished his portion with a smile. He said it's as good as the one he tried in Japan. I tend to agree.

The service here is top-notch. Friendly staff who know most of their products well.
The food is on the pricey side, but the experience makes it worth it. They cook it in front of you and keep you informed with what is happening.
I had their Kiwani Pork, some cold Edamame, and Suji Pon (some beef appetizer incorrectly called beef tendon).
I didn't come out full but I was satisfied.
Will bring my family so we can all try this dish where you make your own four cheese pizza.

It was my first time here! Finally! I have been wanting to try this place out eversince it opened.

We tried their okonomiyaki of course, onigiri, grilled pork and some yakisoba.

Even though people come here for the okonomiyaki. I have to say that their grilled pork was the star among the ones we have ordered. I just love the marinade they used with it. I would come back for their grilled items!

Service was pretty good but the experience is what keeps us customers coming back. I suggest that you request to be seated in their private room.

You get to experience authentic japanese style dining. Taking your shoes off before you enter the room. The place is awesome for taking pics and Snapping as well.

Thanks to looloo, as always, I finally got to try one of the most talked about restaurants now - Dohtonbori Philippines. I made sure to find time to visit and experience the craze for myself.

Located at San Juan, near Greenhills Shopping Center, Dohtonbori Philippines is found at the 2nd floor. You'll instantly see it given that the exteriors are decorated just how they should be - Japanese inspired.

Upon seeing the restaurant, it's as if you'll be transported into the alleys of Japan - where the resto's exterior is made of wooden frames, with hanging ceiling decors made of cloth that has the Japanese flag in it - direct but with an identified statement.

At around past 1PM, the place is still quite full. It was a good thing that the more private area where you can experience a more legitimate dining experience was still available so we decided to stay there.

We removed our footwear, placed them in mini lockers and stepped onto the wooden flooring of our dining area. Sit on the floor and be excited as you get to experience cooking the dishes that you ordered.

Specializing in Okonomiyaki, Dohtonbori Philippines has a lot to offer, from noodles to katsudon to meat overload dishes, drinks of all sorts, you will find it hard to choose from their yummy menu.

We ordered the Four Cheese and Seoul Style Okonomiyaki, Omelette Yakisoba and Pork Yakiniku set meals.

For every Okonomiyaki orders, you will be given the ingredients in separate bowls and will be taught how to cook them. As easy as ABC, you just need to mix everything altogether and once combined well, pour in some oil on the cooking area and slowly pour the mixture on it and give it 5 minutes before you cook the other side. You can actually have it your way, overcooked or not, bring out the chef in you!

The four cheese was really yummy. Imagine mozzarella, four cheese, parmesan and mixed cheese altogether with cabbage, egg, etc., this one looked like your usual omelette but tastes like cheese roll but even yummier. The gooeyness of the cheese inside tastes even better when eaten as soon as you're done cooking it.

The Seoul style was a bit weird tasting given that the kimchi was overpowering the taste of all the other ingredients. Nevertheless, this unique style tasted good with a lot of their Okonomiyaki sauce to balance every flavour there is.

I loved the Omelette Yakisoba. When it was served, I enjoyed looking at the ingredients served - from the vegetables, to the toge to the egg and meat - the colors made me excited to cook it! Combining all the ingredients together, pouring the egg over it and including the separately cooked meat as toppings, this Yakisoba is definitely one favorite of mine given its freshness and yumminess in all ways!

The Pork Yakiniku tasted so yum too! I loved the idea that after cooking it, you'll spread some butter on it to make it tastier and even more addicting.

They serve complimentary tea on the side and they also have a variety of legit Japanese drinks to choose from. Their servers were extra nice and accommodating in attending to our concerns. They always have the smiling face that keeps everything warm and easy.

Their interiors will really transport you to Japan. More than that, the cooking and eating experiences altogether will make you feel like you're really in Japan and that's awesome in every way. I shall definitely come back here with my family! 10084
