Here it is Isha S 128521 One of those three hour lunch break because my patients cancelled. They seem to be in an early Christmas break eh? So, decided to drop by Dolce Amore, just a few steps from the clinic.

It's in Lansbergh Building, just below Manang's. First thing I noticed when I went there is that not much people seem to brave the café. 128551 the location and signages need more attraction for more people to visit. Dolce Amore is a small cafe, yes small and there were only two available tables in the aircon area and some three or more outside. Not so fond of the place because it looks not so well maintained. Sorry but it smelled antique-ish, meaning dusty. 128565 The lighting very dim giving that creepy vibe. No music when I entered but they started playing some acoustic music when they realized it's kroo kroo silent because even the staff were not talking to each other. 128551128551 nag-away ba kayo? hahaha! super awkward.

The food I ordered, CHILI SHRIMP PASTA, was really good! 199 bucks for that bowl of nicely cooked and seasoned pasta with five small shrimp pieces on top. Quite weird that it did not feel a tad bit spicy on it. Did the kusinero forget to put some chili? 128514

I'd give the pasta 4 stars but because of the location and general ambiance, overall it's a 3. 128517

They also offer coffees, cakes, cookies, and other pastries. WiFi ready.

I had a long three hour break at the clinic because of cancelled patients so I thought of eating outside for lunch. I was feeling kind of lazy, so I only walked for a bit before arriving at this place. It's located right below Manang's and Afters along the Tomas Morato strip.

The place is actually kind of claustrophobic. Small space, dim lights and only three tables plus the counter. I sat down at one of the tables and took a look at their menu. They serve typical coffee shop drinks as well as pasta, all-day breakfast meals and burgers. Prices all appeared to be within the 100-200 peso range. I settled on their chili shrimp pasta (199 pesos) and a slice of their mango cheesecake, which I spied in the display case. They also apparently make custom fondant cakes for special occasions and the like.

The mango cheesecake arrived first, but I decided to save it until after my main meal. Finally, the chili shrimp bowl arrived. 3 big pieces of shrimp sat atop a big serving of pasta, chili and bell peppers. It was also served with 2 pieces of bread with pesto. So good and scrumptious up until the last bite! Good blend of flavors that didn't make the dish too cloying. Loved it! I also liked their mango cheesecake as it wasn't too sweet yet the mango taste was still present.

Overall, would love to come back and try their other dishes but I'd also definitely come back for that chili shrimp pasta! 128077

Atleast once a week, me and my polemates go to Dolce Amore and eat our heart out after our pole class. It's like a 'secret' coffee shop in Tomas Morato and we were lucky enough to meet Aloy, our new polemate in Dance Station and invited us to her restaurant.

As a frequent customer, I was able to try almost all in the menu and here's the list of my top favorites:
10084️ Chili Shrimp Pasta - P199
128153 Sausage Pasta - P199
128154 Quattro Formagi Pizza - P199
128155 Sausage Roll - P80
128153 Blueberry Cheesecake - P100/slice (A MUST TRY!!)
128150 Chocolate Cake - P100/slice (Super moist and yummy!)
128077 Lemon Iced Tea - P60 (Tastes like Wendy's version of iced tea!)
128077 Mocha Dolce Amore - P115 (Close to Starbuck's Mocha Frappe but better! Not that sweet)

Dolce Amore is a bit small and if you're looking for a 1 or 2 bottle of beer after meal, you can also try Underground Bar, adjacent to the coffee shop (same owners).

If you want to have value for your money, go visit Dolce Amore located at LG4 20 Lansbergh Place, 170 Tomas Morato Q.C., (just below Manang's Chicken) asap!! 128516

My friend wanted to try something new aside from After's so we went to Dolce Amore, which apparently was just in the same building. It was hard to find because there was no signage, plus it was downstairs, which I thought was just a bar based on the sounds. The place is really tiny! Like only 3 tables inside? I felt claustrophobic already. Customers have to use the restroom from the bar (same owner) across, and the music from the bar's really loud! Take note of this if you prefer a place to have an intimate conversation.

The Pesto Chicken Pasta's tastes good, you won't feel bitin for your Php200. They serve good coffee (huge serving as well), with cute latte art, which I loved! Chocolate cake's not bad either. If only the place is more spacious and away from bar, this would be a good coffee tambay place. So minus one star for the limited space.
