I was really disappointed and concerned with this resto. I didn't quite eat a lot of sashimi because I was doubting if it was fresh and it didn't look like so. We ordered some sort of yakisoba and for some reason, I did not understand why it tasted like ketchup. Well for the price please don't expect a lot. You can go to Kimono Ken or Nihonbashitei instead.

Worst Japanese resto. Everything tastes cheap and not fresh.

Tried the eat all you can ala carte style. The food was awful and its not worth it. We decided to try domo because of the reviews but the food didnt match the high reviews. To start, the soy sauce was not even japanese. The salmon sashimi was a bad cut and low quality meat. The teppanyaki tasted more of chinese and was full of extenders like cabbages and carrots. The fried rice was bland then the gyudon was very sweet and very chewy beef. The rest of our orders were bad as well. We will never come back to this restaurant again.

New management, newly printed menu 128541 buffet still at 499...the place seemed brighter this time and I didn't see any roaches roaming around 128514

I come here mostly for the sashimi, they still serve the white tuna and tuna belly sashimi which I love 128525 the huge variety of sushi rolls are really good too! I loved the French Kiss Rolls (awesome name huh?!)

Always our go to place when craving Sashimi! Super worth it 128077127881

For only 499 you get to eat all you can alacarte style. This is better than yakimix and some of the other eat-all-u-can resto. The advantage in domo is their sashimi. They serve top of the line tuna belly, white tuna, sword fish in their sashimi list. Just the price of this is more than 499 in other japanese resto. 128522
If you are sashimi lover you should definitely drop by Domo. Some of the other notable in the menu was the tempura, beef teppanyaki and variety of ramen. 128523128523128523

The spara bacon (sparagus wrapped with bacon) was my ultimate Craving way back. The seafood soup is also a good choice for me:)) and also the futo maki ( my alternative for the salmon and other sushi and sashimi dishes).

Craving sashimi tonight and looking for a quick fix... ended up here again... good news is, no creepy roaches this time... 128077
Food presentation was really bad tonight... small plates stuffed with our orders, not appetizing to look at 128548
came here for the sashimi and it was ok although we were told they couldn't give us salmon sashimi... shortage daw or something to that effect.... so I said but we came for the salmon! anyways, after some groveling on my part, they did finally serve us some 128548128563 first round lang... 128563 ho hum... at least....

Food: sashimi was very good, especially the white tuna. Everything else that we tried was average (ebi tempura, beef gyudon, spicy tuna roll, some other fried roll with tuna filling, kani salad).
I will never like cold soba again after trying theirs, though. I tried to eat it because I was told there's a strict no leftover rule. I almost threw up! 128560
Ambiance: ok for couples, too dark for get togethers with families and friends. There is a funny smell when you enter the place.
When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, it was a couple of minutes before they open for dinner. My hubby asked if we can get reservations already, since we're a little too familiar with Sunday dinner crowds and the long waiting. The attendant told us that its ok if we dont get reservations since the place never gets full anyway! In the food service business, that's never a good thing! The good news is it is not a crowded place. If you want solitude while eating, this may be a choice.
Price: for a buffet, 500 pesos is quite reasonable. But I think a sit down buffet is not for me. Since you dont have control over portion sizes, you end up getting full after having tasted only just a few of their menu items. Their servings are quite a lot if you just want to taste each of them. The strict no leftover policy is scary. 128561 I'd rather spend a couple more hundred bucks if I want to have a taste of more variety.
Service: average.
Will I come back again? No. I'd rather try another japanese joint.

Buffet @ 499.... If you're a sashimi freak like moi... you might like this place if only for the fact that they serve a wider range of raw fish instead of the usual salmon and tuna...everything else was so-so...
Service definitely needs improvement... ROACH ALERT!!! I saw some roaches roaming around and that was icky.... Ever heard of BAYGON???

Oh My Goodness!! Yummy Sashimi! Yummy everything!! This place definitely is one of those that you'd be seeing me in when I need a Jap food fix. Imagine this, generous, (AND I MEAN GENEROUS!!) slices of high grade salmon, tuna, shiro maguro (my new fave!! Now I'm hungry...), melt-in-your-mouth steaks, generous additions of seafood for your Seafood Rice, different ramen variants, to name a few, and all at PhP595.00 nett. Oh my.... Now I really am craving for sashimi!! Yum!!!

I was honestly not impressed with the food. We ordered gyudon and the spicy salmon roll, and I wasn't really happy with the food. I think the roll was too 'experimental'. If it's supposed to be a modern take on sushi rolls, unfortunately i wasn't taken by it. I should have just ordered salmon sashimi, although the price was a bit too low (?) for salmon which is why I didn't get it in fear of the fish's quality not being that good. I also didn't like the gyudon, it was as if it was prepared quickly just so that it could be served immediately. It was just an okay dish, simply put.

I really don't like restaurants that are too into dim lighting, and that was the first thing I notices when we went in.

I wouldn't go back to Domo anymore after this experience, unfortunately...

If you're craving for sushi and on a limited budget, Domo can definitely be your go-to place. We had their Magurotempura Rolls, Salmon Don, and Salmon Rolls. I especially loved the Magurotempura - tastefully spicy! Servings were generous and their place was cozy. Though it was a bit dark, my friend described it well, "it has an outdoor vibe with the wood and concrete, but indoor". Surprisingly, Domo also has Korean Soju. Yum!

Four roaches!

Domo is one of my favorite resto when it comes to sashimi fix. Today I ordered salmon sashimi and chicken teriyaki with rice. As usual, I devoured and enjoyed the food. But while munching, I saw two little cockroaches on my table!

Surprised, I said to the waiter: "Kuya, may ipis..." Then he just caught it effortlessly with a tissue (gross)

I transferred to another table to finish the last pieces of sashimi but while eating I saw two more bigger roaches crawling around.

Lost my appetite and fondness of this Jap resto :-(

This is Domo's Seafood Yakisoba, the best Yakisoba I've had so far. The noodles are al-dente, the sauce is malinamnam/umami-ish, and the seafood is fresh! The best part is that the squid that comes with it is not gummy! Everyone should really try this yummy Yakisoba! 128522
