Sorry, I can't find the photo of the cheesecake and the coffee we ordered 128513 Nevertheless, it was good.

Like most of the coffee shop in this area, tables were arranged one after the other. Make sure you don't discuss confidential matters here baka magbigay ng opinion ang katabing customers. 128514 Kahit ayaw mong makinig, maririnig mo talaga so dapat never ending kwentuhan din kayo ng kasama mo. 128539

It's been our routine to visit a coffee shop every time we date. Yesterday was #MaginhawangPasko festival and because my workplace was near the area i grabbed the chance to invite my boyfriend who hadn't joined us last year in maginhawa festival.

After minutes of walking we arrived at dorissimo. Honestly it wasn't my first choice but because my foot was aching hahaha we tried Dorrissimo. Cheesecake overload tho. The place was so cozy and perfect place to hang out plus they have tons of books which my boyfriend love.

Jem ordered Choco caramel cake which is affordable and taste good, he also ordered wild berries tea which he finished himself without my help tho hahaha

I ordered tiramisu which i didn't finished because it taste like a normal sponge cake and a caramel iced coffee which i love! I'm a coffee addict.. 128514

The place and the service was good but the taste of their tiramisu was not promising swear... but I still recommend this place to students and working who love hanging out at a coffee shop.

This is my favorite chill place if I want cake and tea. I go here to read in peace or just muse about life. However, I do less of that when there are too many people, as Dorissimo does get full during peak hours. They are not particularly extraordinary, but it's so near my place that I won't have trouble going home anytime.

We ordered chocolate caramel and bacon carbonara which is their best seller. I really like the pasta. I love the cozy place with books as displays. Also, thumbs up to their staff that were very accommodating. I'll be back to try something else at their menu.

I ordered a slice of chocolate caramel cake, which is one of their best sellers, and I didn't enjoy it that much.
I enjoy cakes that are light, flavorful (but not too sweet),moist, and icing made fresh and not overpowering, but Dorissimo's chocolate caramel was a total opposite.
The cake was dense but wasn't too sweet; the caramel icing tasted like melted caramel candies and was overpowering the chocolate flavor.
Their service was slow and wasn't organized.
I had problems with my order and my change.
But despite the slight difficulties, the staff were friendly.

Food was ordinary. The cake was dry. Slow service. Bad ventilation. 128555128553128078

It's a small place with blackboard walls and books 128525
My pasta, the one in the picture is Aglio Olio with Gourmet Tuyo. I usually do not go for the oil based pastas but I got a good feeling that this would be good and it was. Everything's just right. Not overwhelming unlike other pasta I've tried.

Also I tried their red velvet cupcake, not too sweet, and I love the icing on top of it. Very affordable for me because I got my pasta, a cupcake and a lemonade at 235.

They have this upgrade thing that most cafés don't have. You just add 30 to your meal then you have a choice between lemonade or raspberry drink. For most cafés drinks are usually separately price and cost more.

Ambiance is good too. Very cozy. Will definitely go back.

Their Brown Brazo is really good, and ot's pretty cheap at 60 per slice. Tastes like a criss between coco jam and regular brazo. Their dayap lengua and choco lengua were also good, if a bit too crumbly.

I'm sorry DORISSIMO, my love for Brazo De Mercedes comes from the store-next-door #SANCHO Churreria.

It was actually my mistake when I entered the store. It was supposed to be in SANCHO but I entered the wrong door. (my 3rd kamalasan that night).

(Our failed Z compound made me hungry that night, focus almost zero! and my couzin decided we walk from the Z compound to The Icecreamist).

This store has 2 choices for Brazo De Mercedes The 1 I bought was the one with coconut sprinkles P250.00. The other one has muscovado glazing. I just wish they have another choice, the classic one. (No Sprinkles No Glazing).

When I got home, I hurriedly informed my family of my booboo! We still remember how good SANCHO's Brazo cake. 128531

They all commented that they do not like the coconut sprinkles. Nagbago yung lasa ng cake and ingat sa mga oldies pwede silang mabilaukan.

But they have a lovely staff at the counter. Pambawi ko. 9786

Their triple chocolate cake is very fudgy and scrumptious with balanced sweetness, and goes perfect with coffee. They have a nice selection of cakes and cupcakes which are affordable, and I am really tempted to try them all :)

Been wondering about this place for some time now. Wanted to see the reviews but saw non. So, we just went ahead and tried it.

The cakes were affordable per slice, most of which were below 100. We got a slice of mango cheesecake and it was ok. I can tell that they used jello in the cheesecake, and I'm not a fan of that approach. The flavor was good but I feel that the texture and its cheesecake-ness was compromised. But maybe for P110 a slice, I'm expecting too much? A slice of New York-style cheesecake would set you back P300-400 or more in higher end places. But that would be a really rich, pure cheesecake heaven. This one is just ok.

Maybe we'd go back and try the caramel chocolate or the triple chocolate cakes. Maybe cheesecake isn't really their specialty. We'll see.
