It was an afternoon coming from batangas and the original plan was just to go to Sucat to try anytime fitness and then catch up with Dennis O and Elaine O for some coffee after; however the plan was not executed because i stayed a little too long at charito, so it was too late for them to wait fir me sa coffee so i dissed gym.

I was just thinking of something light and affordable. But then i just got curious of the burrito at the end i ate something heavy and not so wallet friendly.

128204 beef sirloin burrito @235php
Like any other burrito, this is heavy as well. Two person could actually share it if two are not that hungry. The beef were initially cooked and the aroma of it was so pleasing to the nose. The rice is infused with spices perfectly and is not too flavored. The beans were mashed and were incorporated in the rice too. The nacho sides were colorful and has a grainy taste. This is messy to eat so be ready to get your hands.

Light tasting one. I remember disliking Hermano's too strong horchata.

Hello Troy P who managed to drop by with his sleepy dog. Yes, the place (even inside) allows you to bring your pet as long as your pet does not poo inside haha. The place is pretty small. It can accommodate around 6 inside and another 6 outside, if there are no cars, you could also dine at the car slots.

It's beside a carwash (is it g-spot?) where troy also washes his car. It's a perfect pair for the carwash (hmm... That's why it's named like that?). The owner was also there prepping our food. They use bare hands while prepping food, but it absolutely tastes good.

This shop also got soft tacos (more wallet friendly) 128540128568

Staff not accommodating. Gave a variety of reasons why they can no longer accommodate a take out order at only 7PM on a Saturday night, from a malfunctioning grill, then to still having 5 pending tickets/orders. The place was not even overflowing with diners. Certainly not a good way to advertise to new and potential customers.

The servings were big, especially for the affordable price. I liked their food. It would be great if they can expand the dining area. Overall their food was delicious and I would come back. 128077🏼

HOW IS THIS SO GOOD? Yes, all caps for much passion. Hahaha. Kidding aside, their Chicharones Tostada (Fried Tortilla) was really good. Their homemade tortilla was really flavorful and the chicharones mix paired well with it. This is one taco shop worth driving by for! 128663

Good stuff! Love everything is freshly made even the corn tortillas. Took 20 minutes though to serve us our Sirloin Steak and Smoked Paprika Shrimp Tacos. Just too much onions for my wife to handle (if you're girly girly) but loved it was a hot mess for me. I didn't mind amelling oniony when we left. Friendly and assistive staff but would love it if they smiled more. Ample parking space. Cozy pub like ambiance.

I loved that they make the tortilla and nachos upon order. Its fresh off and that just takes food to another level.

Burrito is huge and very filling if you're a heavy eater like me, but otherwise it can be shared by two. A handful of meat choices but the spanish rice brings it so much goodness. Quesadilla is delicious too while im more interested with mexilog, I would have to try one next time I come.

Cheap beers for the win.

We decided to try it early Saturday evening with our kiddo. The seats were already occupied so and the only ones available are at the bar so we just opted for take out. We gave our orders and the attendant even made a careful comment on our melon juice and might not be good if they put ice but we said it's okay since we are only 10 mins away, so brownie points for thoughtfulness. A family vacataed a table so we decided to dine in but had to wait 15 minutes or so for our food which are 2 orders of tacos in hard shells and some nachos with chorizos and their melon juice maybe because there are only two people cooking for the food.. Tastes were kind of original but the taco shells were really oily and a bit salty but over all it was good but might take a while for me to come back because my stomach had to rest with so much oil.

But over all, it's a good place for friends to relax and dine.

I've tried their beef nachos, chorizo nachos, beef sirloin steak and chicharones soft tacos. And my best bets are (drumroll pls)...
Beef nachos and beef sirloin steak tacos!!127881 A classic in every Mexican resto and they've done it pretty well. The only con is that the nachos were oily because they were deep fried (for extra crunch I guess). The chicharones were also good, I especially like its crunchiness but I didn't enjoy it as much as the sirloin probably because I'm not yet over from all the lechon I had during the holidays!

As for refreshments, I ordered the house horchata which is mexican rice milk, evap, condensed milk with a dash of cinnamon powder. Its creamy and a bit weird at first but you'll get the hang of it after 5 sips. Or not haha I prefer their mint melon juice to contradict the cheesiness and oiliness of the tacos and nachos. Overall, I wasn't disappointed I came all the way to South for this. I suggest you drive by Drive by Taco Shop too!🌮128665

Another new resto in BF Aguirre. Drive by Taco Shop is a small mexican resto beside a busy car wash station. The inside is very small just 2 small table with a few seats in the bar counter. There are also some table and chair outside. The inside has the open kitchen so prepare to smell when you decide to seat inside.

We tried their extra spicy pulled beef brisket tacos, chickem tequila quesedilla, pineapple pork mexilog and beef nachos. I like everything that we ordered. The pulled beef tacos standout. It was an open taco so it is quite messsy to eat but it was very good so we just dig in with our bare hands. The beef nachos was also good love the overwhelming cheese and beef. We also tried their horchata drink. It was refreshing reminds me of toast box barley drink.

Overall great food! The price are cheap and serving size might look small but it was heavy on the tummy. Need improvement maybe on the socializing department the two owner were so focus specially the girl. They looked like somebody who is in a hurry to meet a deadline and their other staff where just watching them. Hope they can smile a little to show they are enjoying what they are doing. 128518

Finally, a good Mexican joint in BF Homes. Not to mention that its affordable and authentic. Probably one of the best street tacos in the south.

We ordered their Chicken Burrito (see photo above) and the Beef Mexilog. The burrito is huge served with chips on the side but I'm missing that Mexican flavor. I have to mention that the chips on the side is very crunchy and tasty! The Beef Mexilog is very satisfying but a little salty.

I love the pretty laid back ambience of the place with some Jack Johnson music in the background. The place is quite small with two tables available inside, few seats at the counter and a couple of al fresco table.

I gave them 3 stars when it should be 4 stars since they are not that accomodating. I noticed that the people inside are very serious in making delicious Mexican food that they somehow forgot how to treat customers nicely. The place is not that crowded but from the moment we stepped inside until we left the place, not a single smile from any of them can be seen. This is NOT your usual friendly neighborhood restaurant.

I do love the place and the food but I hope they can do something about their service. 128540

PS: There are seats at the counter to have a better view on how they make their delicioud burritos, that is if your not particular in smelling like their kitchen afterwards.

Its always a great idea to have your dessert fix at buckys counter which is a few feet away from the taco shop! 128077🏼

Kaway kaway sa mga taga South! 128075128075128075
When craving for good and affordable mexican noms y'all can try this new place 128077
What we ordered:
Beef sirloin taco - yummeh! Just be prepared to wait, coz they make the taco shells upon order
Mexilog - mexican fried rice 128077, with a choice of beef, chicken,or pork. I got the pineapple pork -- sarap! 128523 But the salsa and beans sidings are kinda disappointing 128078, hoping the texture was more chunky
Beef Burrito 128076 - The meat options for the burrito's the same w/ the mexilog. Only difference is the rice dish came w/ fried egg.
Horchata - try this drink!!!! Ang hirap i-describe ng lasa pero masarap haha! 128518
* The place opens at 4pm and closed on Mondays

Food was good and affordable. Chicken burrito costs around 195 and can be shared by 2 persons.

Quesadilla was awesome as well. 100 for the basic cheese and garlic. Try their chorizo and beef, also good 128076

Would definitely return!

Last Saturday is try new restaurants along aguirre avenue day for Anthony and me. Before meeting our highschool friends for dinner, we left a bit earlier so we can still eat "snacks".

Finally, a good good Mexican restaurant here!! 128131🏻128131🏻128131🏻

They open late in the afternoon and since it's fairly new and they're "famous" as of the moment, a lot of people are going here. Best to go early or be really really patient! 128541

They serve burritos, Mexican rice bowls, quesadillas, nachos, drinks and of course, Street tacos (you can choose if you want the soft tortilla or the tostadas/fried tortilla). Tacos are priced from 85 to 140. Super affordable, right!! 128523 There's a lot to choose from! They have goat's meat, pork, chicken, chorizo, shrimp, fish, chicharones, and beef. They make their own tortilla and you see them prepare it on the side. 128513128077🏼

For our quick snack, we only tried the Tacos -- The Beef Sirloin Steak (110) and Extra Spicy Pulled Beef (95). Homemade soft corn tortilla with onions, avocado, cilantor, lime, source cream and their special sauce. Both were really good but the Pulled Beef was what we liked better! Tender and Spicy Beef Brisket.. super yummy!!! Wished it was even spicier! But you can add more chili if you want! 128521128518

Service was not that fast since they make it on the spot so you have to wait. Patience! But know that it's worth it! 128521

Tip: Better to stay outside so as to avoid the "Amoy Mexican Food slash medyo amoy cumin". The area's super small and "kulob" so even though you just spend 5mins inside, alam mo na! 128517

And yes, just can't help but compare them with El Chupacabra. The El Chupacabra of the South? Hmmm, pwede! They have the same feel and set-up only this one is smaller. If you love Mexican food, this is definitely a must try! Good and affordable food! Best for late night food trip with friends! 128518128588🏼

New taco joint along Aguirre, and this is some good stuff! Sure to draw comparisons to El Chupacabra, but that doesn't matter. Being the El Chupa of the south isn't a bad thing at all.

The street tacos are the highlight of this place and rightfully so. You can have them with chicharrones (crispy pork belly), carne asada steak, Red Horse beer battered fish, goat, homemade chorizo, pulled adobo pork butt, and a selection of various other interesting choices. Personally, anything with chicharrones is a winner for me!

The taco wrappers are prepared from scratch and they also dish out good burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and a mean chilli beef bowl. Literally drive by, have a quick munch, then down it with a beer, horchata, or any of their flavored iced teas... and you'll be leaving very satisfied. 128076

All is swell in this taco shop! Seriously, everything is good. I loved the shrimp taco the most but the other 3 were really good too. The only thing I didn't like much was the soft taco itself. It's a little too floury and thick for me but I can live it 128513 as for the hard shell, it was delish! I'm already looking fwd to try the other stuff in their menu! 10084
