We were surprised by the quality of food here!! On photos were Ribs & Chicken set (PHP349) and Surf & Turf set (PHP499). One plate is good for one hungry person or two on a "light dinner" option 128540

It was last Saturday when the fambam and I decided to treat ourselves to a good and yummy dinner after attending mass.

We headed to UPTC and finally got a spot at Dulcelin Gourmet because oftentimes that we go here, the place is really jam-packed. As we were already hungry, we placed our orders instantly and got the following: House Salad, Gravlax Sandwich, Fish & Chips, Hickory BBQ Pork Belly and Chicken Cordon Bleu.

I really enjoyed the combination of the salad and the sandwich. The simplicity and freshness of the leaves, tomatoes and cheese were really refreshing. Take into consideration the sweetness and crunchiness of the walnuts in it, oh my, it was really yum even without meat. The sandwich was heavenly given that the salmon was so fresh and tasty! I loved the coleslaw spread paired with it. I was just a bit disappointed because the baguette tasted old already.

The fish and chips combination is always something comforting. The servings for this one was really huge and can actually be shared by 2 people. Both items were crispy and crunchy. What made this even yummier was the garlic mayo dip on the side.

I was a bit disappointed with the other 2 orders. The pork belly was the usual. The hickory BBQ sauce can't be tasted that much. The thing that I liked here was the fried rice with corn. The chicken dish wasn't too tasty given that we expected its creaminess as described in the menu. The taste of the mushrooms overpowered the whole taste of the dish and we didn't like that that much.

Overall, the experience was OK and I'd be willing to try other dishes, most especially cakes from them!

Lemme get this out of the way first.  We wanted to stay inside but the chick said ALL of the tables are reserved and she offered the empty tables outside.  I don't wanna create a fuss,  i figured it's okay since we're only having dessert.   While i was halfway done with my pie,  a group of three came in and they were ushered inside quickly,  i shrugged it off.  Then a couple of minutes after,  another party of three arrived and the same thing happened.  They didn't occupy the reserved tables,  apparently there are two tables available inside.  Why do i have this feeling that they have double standards when it comes to diners.  I mean,  i wasn't wearing anything fancy but i look decent.   I wanted to give the staff a piece of my mind but CMA said, i should let it go.  Here's the icing on the cake,  my rants are audible and within earshot of one of the servers and NO ONE approached us.  Bad manners,  Dulcelin!

Note:  We got the Key Lime Pie and Irish  Flan Cream Cake.  Both were good but I'm giving it one star for the awful service.

Ive only been here twice and in both times I only had their Peruvian Chicken. It's sooo good that I'm scared to order any other dish because I might get disappointed, hahaha! My friends enjoyed their Buttermilk chicken though!

Oliver and I had to wait for some people and we decided to hang around Dulcelin while waiting. I had their walnut-pecan pie and it was served warm. Paired it with homebrewed iced tea. Very very good. 10084

As much as we want to take photos of the buttermilk fried chicken it was gone too fast 128514. It's so crispy, yummy and melts on our mouth. My kids also enjoyed it. Aside from buttermilk fried chicken , the vegetable lumpia tasted goodddd!!! My Tito loved it. It's good for persons who are into diet. 128541 the free cauliflower honey glazed was so deceiving that my son thought it was a chicken nuggets. Hmm can someone help me search its recipe?!? 128525 the mango torte whew I miss it. The last time I tasted it was when I bought it in their house in west Ave. Definitely will be back soon. 128536

Last September, my friends Pat, Joanna and I went here for a dinner before their flight back abroad.

I ordered Baked Norwegian Salmon either Pesto or Miso based. The first I had it on my birthday a year, I was innlove at first bite. Perfectly seared and loved the chorizo rice.

As usual, service was great. A bit cold that night, luckily I brought with me my jacket. Brrr.

Dulcelin Gourmet's Mango Torte is so gooooooddddd!!! This photo does not even give justice to how good it tastes. (Dulcelin Gourmet's page has a better photo).Though my photo may not look appetizing, it surely is addictive once you've tried it. It has a thin, nutty and crunchy crust, a thick layer of diced mangoes and sweetened whipped cream. Superb!

Ordered the Angus Hanger Steak (P395.00), Pork Ribs (P199.00), Baked Salmon (P395.00 single), Inasal with Lechon (P275.00), Squash soup (P120.00), Irish Cream Flan (P130.00), Strawberry cake (P140.00), Caramel Pecan-walnut pie (P95.00) and brewed coffee (P85.00). Place was enormous but simple in design. Most of the dishes were delectable except for the desserts. The Caramel Pecan-walnut pie was yummy and had a justifiable price. Steak was really good and price was very reasonable. "Skins" used to top most of the entrees were crispy and tasty. Servers though we're almost non-existent so minus points for service. Not one was observant to our needs. Worth coming back for the food but not the overall design dining experience. Missed another LooLoo special ugh128533

Food is so-so! Good thing we ate there during their anniversary so the main courses were just php100 each otherwise we would feel we made a really bad choice. The cake was too bitter and dry.

Servings are big so food can be for sharing or will be enough for someone with a big appetite.

Service is good. Warm, courteous and fast despite the big crowd.

Ordered Beer Battered Miso Glazed Cauliflower again. And Pork Inasal. Again. Because...pork skins. Also tried their Baked Norwegian Salmon, basted with Parmesan pesto. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Really tasty and it wasn't dry. 128076

You can never go wrong with their Pesto Parmesan Seared Salmon. 128561128523 it's one of the best salmon dishes I've tried so far. Perfectly seared on the outside and a little bit raw on the inside. Plus that chorizo rice. I can eat this all day everyday128077🏼
