I suddenly miss eating dunkin' donuts when i saw this branch the other week while i was driving to tagaytay. Hence i did drop by also to buy as 'pasalubong' for my engineers at batangas.
I used to dislike their butternut flavored donuts, but during the recent years, i did start to like the flavor, including their choco butternut. It's so sad that they already phased out the donut version of the butternut flavor, leaving only the munchkin as option for butternut flavor. Also, the choco butternut flavor became 'premium' donut which costs so much like php35 each?! Well, it got bigger, but still...
I do appreciate their choco butternut taste cause it's a donut that does not taste oily, rather, it tastes like a cake. However i felt that this branch sold me old ones.
There were also new types of strawberry and bavarian filled donuts-- instead of the original vanilla-milky bread, they introduced chocolate flavored breads. I filled my box with some of those yet upon tasting, blech! It does not taste like chocolate. Really. It tasted like bitter dough. The filling was the only good thing. I guess i could call it a super diluted chocolate flavored donut. Ech. Never to buy those again.
Plain strawberry and bavarian filled are safe enough. Still. This branch sold me old stocks. Boston kreme is a better chocolate -bavarian tandem than the choco- dough bavarian filled this boston kreme stays one of the best classic flavor.
This branch does not sell the sweet ube and strawberry filled (the one with an icing) which made me ask myself if DD also phased out those types.
I never enjoyed their honey dipped and the nutty choco flavor.
Choco honey dipped is also missing from this branch! Aww. A lot of classic donuts have been MIA in this branch!
I see they chose this area cause it's near impossible the bus stop. Beware. I sense there might be bad people around the area, so if you are ambulatory, just beware. Some beggars are also around.
