Went to Eastwood earlier this morning to claim my daughter's winning from Eastwood City Mall last Father's Day promo.128079128079128079

I arrived their past 10am and the establishments were still closed so I just roam around and looking where to eat my early lunch the moment the establishments open up.

I saw DWCafe. In front of Chuck's deli.It is a Japanese cafe and beside also digital walker.

I entered the cafe and the girl told me to go back because they are not yet open and they still have to fix first the cafe so I went outside and seated there.

Exact 11am they opened the doors already and I was the first one to get inside then some people followed me too.

I saw from the outside of cafe that they have combo meals.I ordered the katsudon for 175pesos.Then they have wifi there and ask for password and found out that the owner if digital walker and dwcafe are relatives that's why there is a passage door from dwcafe to digital walker.

This is a nice hangout, very cozy.Affordable foods too and good wifi connection.

Third time in DW Cafe. Ordered their Katsudon, Gyudon, and Beef Curry. While nothing to rave about, the dishes were tasty and reasonably priced. i would describe this restaurant and their dishes as falling somewhere between fast food fare and gourmet fare. Not bad and can actually be a good hang-out place.

Am back in this place to try their other dishes. This time, I tried the Creamy Spinach Pasta and the Kani Salad (both pictured above). The pasta was not that creamy, but it was good and flavorful. They had a different take on the salad. They had chunks, instead of shreds, for ingedients and it was quite different and quite good! Service was relatively quick (well, they had only two tables to serve) and as I mentioned before, their prices are pretty reasonable. 128077128077128077

Pleasingly neat and cozy restaurant connected to Digital Walker in Eastwood. It's essentially Japanese but they also serve pasta and some non-Jap fare.

You order your food at the counter then seat yourself and wait for your food to be served to you at your table. (They seem to be suffering from some sort of identity crisis - they're Jap and not Jap and they're a fastfood joint and not a fastfood joint. 128515)

In any case, despite their identity crisis, we enjoyed their food. Decent portions, flavorful, and reasonably priced! I tried the chicken pasta and the creamy spinach pasta and they were quite good. The spicy karaage was, well, spicy! I've tasted better karaage in Pepper Lunch though.

All told, we were pretty happy with the whole eating experience in Dwcafe.

DW=Digital Walker, which is right beside/connected to dwcafe.

Tried the Omurice with Gyudon. Omurice is a Japanese fusion dish where you have fried rice inside an omelette, and then some ketchup on top. In this case, they used the gyudon sauce instead of the ketchup. The sauce is a little bit salty, but overall the flavor is good.

Cozy place, good wifi connection, good place to chill or have some snacks after buying your gadgets or accessories at Digital Walker.
