Finally, I was able to use my Eagle Point vouchers that I won from the last looloo giveaway! I got two gc's for an overnight stay in a Deluxe Room with breakfast and shared it with my family so everyone of us could enjoy the weekend. Thanks looloo for these!

Eagle Point is another beach getaway from Manila. Typically, the resort is ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving because of the rich marine life underwater. Shorelines are short and often rocky because Anilao is known for that.

We got two big rooms which is good for 4pax each in which there are two separate beds. It has AC, mini refrigerator, and flat screen tv. The restroom is also nice and clean, complete with hot shower, of course. They even provide soaps, shampoos, and toothbrush for guests.
Additionally, the veranda of our rooms is something! It has nice view of the ocean and sunset. Sadly, it was rainy the afternoon we were there so no sunset that time.

As much as we want to, it's hard to love Eagle Point. I think there are lots of things to improve on like these things:

▫️Location wise, Eagle Point is one of farthest resorts in Anilao. You'll get to see many beautiful resorts that are just nearby.
▫️The road from parking to Eagle Point is kinda scary because of the stiff and curvy road. Only one vehicle can accommodate it.
▫️The resort is kinda old and needs improvement. There are areas that need to be cleaned and maintained. Ang hirap kumuha ng magandang photos, maeffort unlike in Camp Netanya na lahat ng anggulo maganda. The beach area was also trashy. There were broken bottle pieces and plastics.
▫️*Food that we had was so so and it's pricey rin. Imagine the grilled squid cost around P390, masarap but I think it costs too much. You don't have a choice but to eat there coz driving to get out of the resort is tiring and also not advisable especially at night.
▫️They have to improve the facilities because it's really boring staying inside the resort. Wala ka masyado gagawin but if you're aim is just to stay there and rest, then this place is for you.
▫️Wifi and mobile connections are weak.
▫️There's a P30 charge if you want potable hot water to your room.

On the brighter side, here are the things that I would like to commence during our stay:
▫️Service - Kudos to the staff! They were nice and polite.
▫️Buffet breakfast na nasulit namin!
▫️Our room which was clean and big. It was comfortable and cold! Sarap matulog.
▫️ They are offering island hopping to Sepoc Island but we didn't try it. I think that one is a must try activities here aside from scuba diving & snorkeling.

Overall, our stay was just okay. I'm still grateful that we experienced Eagle Point with family over the weekend. For bookings, I called the reservation hotline and they arranged everything. Since our GC's indicated that weekend booking is not allowed, they offered us to pay P600 per room instead so we would be able to use them. For the extra person, we paid P1,000 inclusive of breakfast buffet.

*I will make a separate review for the food.

PLACE IS VERY BAD! not a thing that I like in this place. We were sitting down for dinner and all we wanted was salad since we had PM snack a while ago and the captain of the resto insisted that they only have buffet which is worth 500. They said that its automatic if they have more than 35 guests. I also complained on the duty manager and she did not even apologize. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD! PLACE IS BAD!

The lobby was very small no waiting area, food is expensive, it's really really really hard to go to the area a lot of uphills and downhills you can't get here if you don't have a car.

i love the place, it is not that crowded and they have their own beach but you must rent a boat to go in their private beach since it is in a different island about 15 to 20 mins away

I just remembered this place since we're now looking for a place this 2013 summer. I've been there last summer with my officemates and with our department's bosses and I must say lots of things have to be improved!

The beach is beautiful, though not comparable to other famous beaches, clean and clear blue water.

The welcome drinks was not available for all (eventhough they already expected the number of guests) plus it did not appear refreshing in its serving glass. The lunch was served a bit late, delicious but ordinary. The snacks, too small serving size and super ordinary.

The resort's pool were not clean, as in super madaming dry leaves then iba na talaga yun color especially the pool where we supposed to swim with the baby dolphins (yata). Yun' pool parang mga swimming pool sa mansion na walang nakatira. Grabe, hindi man lang talaga nila nalinis kahit na we had prior reservation na, pano pa yun itsura nun pool kung walk-in lahat ng guests??!!

Not enough shower room or rest room for day-tour guests! Grrrr!!!

Over-all it was really not a good experience for all of us. We all felt tired and looked forward to go home na agad agad!

A week after that, I met somr highschool friends. One told me that she and her offiemates had the same not so good experience in that resort.

Long drive travel was compensated by the nature itself alone. Thank you Mother Nature!

I am not sure if the experience will be different if it's an overnight stay.
