Hindi ko alam kung gutom lang ako pero masarap halos lahat ng kinain ko dito. Try niyo yung kebab ar pomelo salad nila. Medyo pricey nga lang. I'm not a fan of healthy food.

Been wanting to try this place ever since. I was so happy when they finally opened a branch in BGC but (as usual) it took a while (a very loooong time) before I finally had the chance (and budget 128517) to try this place out.

One afternoon, Ony and I had decide to have our lunch here. Called for a reservation before going just so we are sure to get a table. And good thing we did because the place was packed during our visit.

Once you enter the place, you will immediately get the "I am in an all things healthy and organic place". Everything was so "earthy"!! Like mother nature designed the place. Green and brown everywhere! 127811127793127807127796

The beef tacos and beef kebab are the top 2 dishes highly recommended by our server and by a lot of reviews, as well. We just can't leave this place without trying both, of course. Ordered the beef tacos and beef kebab with tortilla wraps (instead of the rice).

With that much hype we were expecting to be blown away. But sadly, we were not that impressed. Yes, they were good.. but nothing super extra ordinary. The beef was tender, though. But they're not something I'll come back for.

We also ordered the Mushroom Ravioli and Roasted Chicken since both were recommended by our server.

The ravioli was GOOD! Ang sarap! Very flavorful and tasty. Made with kesong puti, shiitake mushroom, button and milky mushrooms, and pili nuts. Ughh, all perfectly placed inside the freshly made home made ravioli pasta. And the sauce, light cream sauce I'm not sure what exactly it was but it was good. Sobrang bitin because there were only 4 pcs and we had to share it equally. 128557128557 A bit frustrating lang since it's pricey (400++ per order). Not something I can order everyday. 128563128517 But it was really delicious! Plus heathy so I guess, worth it siya! But not everyday and please note that it's not for sharing!! 128518128523

The roasted chicken was not good. It is the perfect example of how most people see organic healthy food - walang lasa, malungkot, and mahal. 128530128529

Despite not fully enjoying 3 out of 4 dishes, I am still giving them 4 stars because of the ravioli!! 128513128077🏼 If you're planning to eat here, pleaseget the Mushroom Ravioli because it's sooo good!! Bursting with so much awesomeness!!! Sarap!!128076🏼 And avoid the chicken! 128517128518

It was a good meal tonight, went home happy, the reason was because of this place. 128522

Its my first time here and knowing thats its organic im sure its gonna be good, and sure it was better than just good. I called them up earlier to reserve a table for me and my guest, they are open till 10pm but last order was 9pm. We order the following:

1. Shrimp Spring Roll - it was good, taste very fresh and the only thing for this to be better is that they must use a bigger prawn. 128522

2. Mushroom Soup - Oooh the smell of the truffle. Best consume when still warm.

3. Beef kebab - the beef was so tender, juicy and soft. Was really good and Its a must. Did i say the beef was really good.

4. Scallop, Aligue on Squid ink Pasta - i was immediately hook with their scallop. Was very well cooked. Never regret going home with black lips.

5. Beef on soft taco - what can i say? I will definitely order this again once i come back.

Overall this was a 5 star for me but because of the glade like smell that was coming out from their kitchen/staff place, it kinda ruin the experience. It was not very organic. The experience of sniffing glade while eating, it doesnt feel good, right? But Sayang should have been a 5.

One restaurant I have always wanted to visit. Asked the lady wait staff why they are still closed at 11am. She said "hindi pa po kasi dumadating ang ice. I was relieved because I thought the chef was the one who was not around.

Asked to be seated inside while waiting for the ice to come, they gladly obliged. Browsed the menu and memorized what I will order. This were: the beef kebab (so tender best for me), braised bacon (guilt free for me coz it was not fried), curried pumpkin soup (must order for me coz its good), and for desserts the vanilla peanut crunch and tablea chocolate (liked the tablea more). Oh I forgot that go healthy drink #3 (apple, cucumber etc) so healthy and good too. Soothing and filling meal. #wishdone

Finally tried Earth Kitchen!!! Didn't get to try their best selling Beef Tacos though. 128549 Trying to cut back on beef after all the looloo rendezvoos so I had to settle for their Tempura Salad.

The salad's greens and dressing were both very good. As someone who normally just eats salads without dressing (they're usually too overpowering), theirs was a light vinaigrette that went really well with everything.

Sadly I can't say the same for the prawn and fish tempura. Wasn't a big fan of the batter they use. I guess I was expecting Japanese style tempura. The batter here left a bitter aftertaste. And separated from the meat.

The Peanut Butter Crunch we got wasn't so impressive either. The turon was "normal" and the ice cream equally "normal." I shared this with a friend and even she didn't finish her share.

I like the place though and I like what they stand for - helping local farmers. So definitely adding one star for that. 128522

It was a Sunday well spent with my mom. My sister was out of town with friends while my dad had to run errands in the South, so it was just the two of us for lunch. We were supposed to head to the Gourmand Market but it was too hot to eat there so we decided to just look for a resto in BHS Central since we were already in the area. Ended up at one of our favorites-- Earth Kitchen! 128048

I suggested we order two dishes to share. I picked Mushroom Spring Rolls and Shrimp and Arugula Pasta. I was surprised how big their fresh spring rolls were. I was starting to feel full after finishing 2 rolls. It was generously filled with vermicelli, organic shiitake mushrooms, herbs and crisp greens, then sprinkled with peanuts, and served with lime hoisin sauce. The greens tasted really fresh and the sauce adds a refreshing Asian flavor to the dish. Must try! 128588🏼

The Shrimp and Arugula Pasta didn't disappoint as well. At first I thought it had tomatoes since it was reddish, but their staff confirmed it's oil based. Whew! 128517 Al dente linguine sautéed with shrimp and topped with arugula. It tasted really garlicky but I liked it. Plus points that it was not swimming in oil.

Definitely going back here! 128513

Went twice already: first time I had the fish and sesame soft taco, second visit I tried their chicken kebab with pita. Both are soooo good but I must say my reigning favorite is still the fish and sesame taco.

Healthy lunch date with mom a few months ago. We were supposed to eat at Salad Stop but I suddenly craved for a kebab when we passed by Earth Kitchen.

Mom likes their salad. This time, she tried the Tempura Salad. Organic greens with ebi and fish tempura, and roasted sesame dressing. Serving was huge. It can actually feed two to three pax. She didn't order anything else so she was able to finish this. The vegetables were noticeably fresh and crisp. The ebi and fish tempura adds crunch to the salad.

I had the beef kebab, of course. Boneless beef ribs and grilled vegetables with tzatziki and organic Ifugao rice pilaf. This dish never disappoints. Beef was grilled perfectly, leaving the meat tender and so flavorful. 128522 Pairs really well with the rice.

Prices aren't so wallet friendly, but you surely will get your money's worth.

I like the cozy, relaxing feel of the restaurant. Plus points for the presentation of their food too. Well thought of and really matches their organic theme. 127811

A branch near my workplace! All hail the food angels for this small miracle of establishment location!

We had the Shrimp Spring Rolls, Beef Kebab with Ifugao Rice and Taco Beef Bulgogi. The spring rolls were a bit too acidic, too much vinegar imo. The peanut sauce had a little kick as well so the sweet taste I was expecting wasn't there. I never seem to choose the right appetizers. 128553

The Beef Kebab was heaven! I've already raved about this in my QC branch review so let's skip to my new favorite, Beef Bulgogi Tacos! This was so unexpected. It's like a steak taco with seaweed tape bits sprinkled on top. The combination is perfect. Absolutely wonderful. I'm having that again next time bec I'm definitely coming back!

Random weekday date with K a few weeks back! We (well, I) could not decide where to have dinner in Makati, when Earth Kitchen suddenly popped into my mind. So yes, we braved the rush hour traffic in McKinley for this! There was also no parking anywhere nearby, so we had to go to parkade. It wasn’t a long walk anyway, plus, it helped after dinner as we stuffed ourselves with so much food that night!

He usually lets me decide which food to order, but I also have to consult him as he can be quite picky when it comes to food. I haven’t let him down with my food choices so far, which is a good thing. Hahaha!

I remember not enjoying their Beef Bulgogi Tacos when I first dined here because I’ve already eaten so much food before it was served. I had to give it another try since I trust Carla M’s taste buds! (Carla and I are like 95% compatible when it comes to food! LOL)

I’m happy to announce (announce talaga?!) that K and I loved the tacos! The boneless beef ribs, paired with kimchi rice and greens were just delish! The seaweeds on top give it a twist from the usual bulgogi flavor, a contrast that we really welcomed.

I also ordered their Paccheri, even if K had hesitations because he isn’t a fan of pumpkins/squash. It has goat’s cheese, roasted pumpkin, and bacon. I am elated that he really loved my favorite dish from Earth Kitchen!

Lastly, we also got their Beef Kebab. I know, I know. We already ordered a lot! I don’t think you can go wrong with their kebabs. It’s packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. I just wish the sauce was spicier.

I actually wanted to order their Risotto Balls, but we already ordered too much carbs that night. Hahaha! I will definitely order it when I go back.9786

I have tried Kitchen 56 before at Jupiter but they closed out 128532 love their ice cream pa naman.

This time, since we're in the area, I thought of eating here again and feel leas guilty about eating out 128514
Had mushroom soup, Pomelo Salad (not so yummy for me, coarsely chopped and the pomelo was not so sweet and juicy) but the beef kebab was really good and tender. I just hope that the sauce had more spicy kick into it. The "fresh" dalandan juice does not feel so fresh to me hehe, no pulps plus tasted artificially sweet. Sadness 128528

But still a good place to dine and feel again less guilty.

Wow this experience was weird. Earth Kitchen is a favorite restaurant of ours. We used to go all the way to Katipunan for this so we're mighty glad it's now nearer my place.

We came in for a late, light dinner and like my previous review, I really find that there are just way to many plants here. Anyway, we ordered several tacos for dinner, which is what we order every time we're here. Their pitcher of dalandan was too sweet for me. We had to add water which is not a big deal.

I said weird in the beginning because people in the kitchen kept looking though the small rectangular glass opening on the door! Though we were seated near the bar I could see them peering through it as I was seated facing that direction. I asked the H if may artista ba dito na di ko kilala kasi tingin sila ng tingin. Wala naman e. I mean they would look, not look, one at a time, then maybe 2-3 of them... then sometimes laugh! I swear it was soooo creepy! They were pretty boisterous that night in the kitchen too.

The place wasn't full at that time because it was almost 9pm on a weeknight. Maybe that's why the kitchen had so much time in their hands to goof around.

I still enjoyed my tacos so yeah, 4 stars. But next time that happens I'm calling the Manager!

I’ve been wanting to try Earth Kitchen for a long time but I’m not willing to travel to White Plains, or any part of Katipunan on my own. I don’t know if you will find it weird, but I’d rather travel to Makati or BGC rather than up north. Anyway, I finally convinced the family to eat here. It was a good thing we went early; else we won’t have a table!

One good thing about dining out with your family is that you can order a lot of food and share. And they also pay for it! Here’s a rundown of what we ordered:

🔸SHRIMP SPRING ROLLS
-Shrimp, organic/naturally produced herbs greens and peanuts, lime hoisin sauce

🔸MUSHROOM SPRING ROLL
-Organic/naturally produced shiitake mushrooms, peanuts, herbs and greens, lime Hoisin sauce

I liked both spring rolls, but I wish it was rolled tighter. Everything falls apart when you eat it!128557

For soup, we ordered Curried Squash Soup and their Fresh Mushroom Soup. I liked both, and would actually order them again. Their mushroom soup is really good, the mushroom flavor is legit.

🔸WATERMELON AND ROCKET SALAD128076🏻
-Organic/naturally produced arugula, edible flowers, pili nuts, homemade kesong puti, balsamic vinaigrette

This salad is really refreshing! Even my brothers liked this salad. They didn’t have edible flowers, though. I kinda wish they told me and offered to replace it with more greens or any other ingredient.

🔸BEEF BULGOGI
-Boneless beef ribs, kimchi rice, salad greens, seaweed
RISOTTO NEGRA
-Squid ink, French beans, local scallops

I wasn’t really impressed with the beef bulgogi and their risotto negra. Maybe I was overwhelemed with other dishes that’s why the beef bulgogi didn’t really leave a lasting impression. I would give this another try when I go back. For the risotto, it wasn’t cooked right, and the scallops were very bland.

🔸BEEF KEBAB128076🏻
-Boneless beef ribs, tzatziki, grilled vegetables, choice of organic Ifugao rice pilaf or 3 pcs. flour tortilla and organic mixed greens

🔸CHICKEN KEBAB128076🏻
-Organic chicken, tzatziki, grilled vegetables. Choice of organic Ifugao rice pilaf or 3 pcs. flour tortilla and organic mixed greens.

The kebabs are really good here. It does not have that smoky flavor like what we’re used to with Turkish/Mediterranean cuisine, but the flavor is good enough, plus the meat’s really tender. No wonder JP G kept raving about this!

🔸4 MUSHROOMS AND EGG
-Slab bacon, shiitake, milky and button mushrooms, organic egg

🔸PUMPKIN AND GOAT’S CHEESE PACCHERI128076🏻128070🏻
-Goat's cheese, roasted pumpkin, pili nuts, bacon

Out of the 2, I would go for the paccheri. I wouldn’t really order this one if not for Jin’s recommendation! The flavors from each ingredient complement each other well without being too cloying. My brother loved this too even if he is very picky when it comes to vegetables.9786

I know, it might seem a lot, but we were 8 in the group! Service was on-point, but I wish they would tell us that some ingredients are not available, like edible flowers, for example.

My top recommendations are their Pumpkin and Goat’s Cheese Paccheri, Kebabs, Watermelon and Rocket Salad, and the Spring Rolls. I want to go back and try the Risotto Balls!

Hahaha, for the people in their 30's and above you'll know with whom I posed. Not the usual looloo pic because we just had an event here today for Mott's Apple Juice! Ara Mina was among the Mommy bloggers present. She still looks great, by the way.

Anyway, off to the review...

Earth Kitchen BGC is the 2nd branch of the Katipunan based organic food restaurant. Not coincidentally, this is just across The Wholesome Table, another such restaurant featuring organic food.

We had the shrimp spring rolls which was okay, but not my type... Kinda like Vietnamese spring rolls but I didn't like the size of it. Too much veggies and not balanced with the shrimp. 2.5/5

The Beef Kebab is the winner! Skewered on an metal stick, about 6 pieces of beef heaven. They look well cooked but they were pretty soft and juicy, these were the beef cube cuts, not the ground beef kind. Seasoning was good, peppery and smokey like the usual Persian Cuisine. Rice was okay. Not long grain, but they say it's Ifugao Rice pillaf #supportlocal 4/5

For dessert, we had Vanilla Peanut Butter Crunch, made of really rich home made Carabao vanilla ice cream, a dollop of peanut butter and topped with turon. It kind of didn't taste like vanilla as I know it, but it was decent. 3.5/5

Ambiance is simple, but very apt. Wooden chairs and tables plus lots of leaves, like you'd expect from an organic resto, but the added twist was the caricatures of local farmers and indigenous communities. Nice touch. 4/5

My friend and I tried Earth Kitchen on a whim. I saw the prices and found them pretty steep (as all healthy/organic places are). We got the shrimp spring rolls (YUM), Risotto Balls (Ok) and the Chicken Kebab which was our main dish. A skewer of tender grilled chicken, a skewer of grilled veggies plus rice a small cup of cucumber salsa and the sauce. Overall, nothing special really, it was good but for the price I was expecting more. My friend really enjoyed it but I didn't really.

Looove the ambience and the food! Their BEEF KEBAB is a must-try. We also ordered their RISOTTO MEAT BALLS and PUMPKIN PACCHERI which were awesome as well. The entire meal went well with their DALANDAN JUICE but a pitcher is too big for 2 people so better to share it with 2 more friends. Food's pricey but definitely worth the experience.

Cartwheeling with joy that they taste exactly like their branch in Katipunan. We've been frequenting that branch so we're glad they're now close to home. This is one of our favorite restaurants to dine in. The salad, the tacos and the goat cheese ice cream are amazing!

This branch though, is a bit "magubat" imo hehe. Am I the one that feels this way? That there are too many hanging plants? The acoustics are a bit bad inside too. It gets pretty loud with everyone talking. If the day/night is cool enough then we always eat outside the restaurant.

Sayang no | special here, only in their Katipunan branch :(

FLAVORFUL FOOD DONE RIGHT - Earth Kitchen is NOT another salad bar, nor should it be labeled a "diet restaurant". This is a place that knows how to make fresh ingredients truly taste their best.

With a beautifully cozy space, a crowd-pleaser menu that draws inspiration from Italian, Mexican and Middle Eastern favorites and the undisputed title of best beef kebab I've ever tasted, Earth Kitchen has quickly become one of my all-time favorites!

RISOTTO BALLS - a fine choice if you're craving for indulgent risotto but can't afford the extra calories, these warm bites are filled with melted cheese and taste just like the real thing, if not better!

BEEF and CITRUS SALAD - despite being a garden themed restaurant, everyone will be happy to know that in earth kitchen, beef rules supreme! It's no surprise that the beef salad is the best one on their menu. The marbled chunks of beef pair perfectly by the sweetness of the salad.

PULLED PORK TACOS - ever had a taco where there was so much wrap or the rice filling that you couldn't taste the actual meat? You never have to worry about that here! A generous serving of soft and juicy pulled-pork in each taco shell, marinated to perfection.

"THE" BEEF KEBAB - don't leave Earth Kitchen without trying their signature dish! The beef kebab is so tender that it practically melts in your mouth... All that flavor in each bite will leave one huge smile on your face, and only one thought: "when do I come back???"

PUMPKIN and GOAT CHEESE PACCHERI (pictured) - This is the dish everyone orders out of curiosity and is always delightfully surprised when it arrives on the table. Homemade layers of sheet pasta artfully dress the sweet and savory pumpkin filling underneath. Gorgeous dish that's hearty without being heavy.

SQUID INK RISOTTO - we could bury our faces into this plate of warm, comforting goodness! The risotto is cooked to perfect softness with just the right bite and the richness of squid ink is a perfect complement to the generous serving of scallops on top. Order if you are feeling particularly hungry!

HOMEMADE GOAT CHEESE ICE CREAM - me and this dish are a true story of love at first sight! If they sold this, I would probably buy it by the gallon! Goat cheese is an acquired taste but when turned into rich, creamy ice cream, drizzled with honey and topped with crunchy candied pili nuts... No one can resist! They certainly have other safer ice cream flavors on the menu, but having a spoonful of this ice cream is always the highlight of my day!

OVERALL I love that Earth Kitchen proves there's a way to make simple food shine without disguising it in seasoning and sauces... This place is all about REAL FOOD and BIG FLAVORS.
