I'm really glad my friend took me here for lunch cause I've always been wanting to try this resto out.

We ordered the following:
Shrimp Spring rolls (310PHp)
Ragu Ala Bolognese (295PHp)
Beef Kebab (425PHp)

Both Ragu and kebab were packed with flavor. Both were good for sharing.

Then for desserts:
Peanut butter ice cream (200PHp)
Goat Cheese ice cream

A bit pricey but the amount you pay for, healthy and organic dishes, was worth it.
The ambiance was cozy with a touch of nature. Staff were friendly and accommodating. 128077🏼

Milanese risotto is amazing but for a steep price of 600php

If you like cheese, soft chewy rice and super soft beef, this is the dish for you :)

Tried the beef kebab and it wasn't bad either (well seasoned and flavorful rice along with it)

Couldn't take the Looloo promo of free ice cream due to senior citizen discount, which is weird because it stated that the promo cannot be used in conjunction with any other promos except for senior citizen discount.

beef kebab was pricey but tasty! Shrimp spring rolls was not what i've expected(just missing Vietnam). But my hubby liked it.

Loved the beef kebab, milanese risotto was just okay. A bit cloying actually. Nice ambience, organic food store has a lot of good pasalubong options.

Sunday funday with the 'rents. We had to go somewhere north and i suggested eating on the way.

We started with the shrimp spring roll. I don't think i read the full description but the serving was huge and it was vietnamese style. This was a first, my mom liked it so much because jt was served cold. She never would eat in other asian inspired restos in fear of their seasoning and exotic flavor. She liked it so much, she had three pieces. My dad and i shared the rest.

My dad also ordered the dulong paté. It came with several sticks of cucumber and singkamas, along with four pieces of melba toast. I preferred another dulong paté, although this was pretty good, too. If you dip the sticks, it brings out the flavor of the dulong more. One thing my mom did not enjoy because she found it malangsa than what she could take.

Dad and mom ordered some soup. The mushroom soup was hers to which she enjoyed immensely but couldn't finish so she shared some with my dad. My dad ordered the smoked tomato soup. I asked him how it was and he said maasim. I love tomato soup but maasim isn't the kind i like either. I tasted it pa rin. Hmmm, it was definitely smoky and not at all sour! I wonder what he was saying? I didn't even feel any pang of acidity when i continued to eat it. Well, you can guess who finished it.

My mom's mushroom ravioli arrived pretty quick. There were six pieces of ravioli filled with mushroom stuffing. It was also evenly coated in cream and topped off with fresh mushrooms and pili nuts. I asked if she liked it and if it differed from the taste of the soup. She just nodded her head and continued to eat. 128077🏽128077🏽128077🏽128515

My beef kebab came soon after and my mom sorta frowned because the aroma was quite pungent - yes, to her. But she saw how tender the beef was and had something to say about it. I shared a piece with my dad and offered my mom but I knew she wouldn't like it. It tastes good but i don't know it didn't taste as good as it was in my memory from the last time. I liked the tenderness of the meat the vest and it was bursting with flavor. The chili mayonnaise that came with jt helped, too.

My dad's ordered was the attention grabber. It was vietnamese pork. It came in two plates. One was the kropek-like shell that seemed to be flavored of shrimp and sesame seeds. The other plate had the vietnamese pork, thai basil, chopped kangkong stalks, shredded carrots and singkamas, cilantro, peanuts and fried shallots. That plate was full of veggies, you could make an asian bahay kubo rendition from this plate alone. He started cracking the cracker and topped the ingredients on it. It felt like a deconstructed dish but wasn't. Midway, i realized that we could have just mixed all the things on the other plate and started getting them into the shell. 128517 oh well, my dad seemed to be enjoying the assembly going on.

Today's highlight is suitable for summer because i super duper enjoyed the tablea chocolate ice cream. Unlike the usual Rich and dark chocolate ice cream, this one is a hint of chocolate. Tablea reminds me of Christmas but with this heat, i just found it awakening my senses. This ian't the flavor of the month so they give you two scoops. I was quite full after eating everything but i couldn't say no to ice cream and this flavor i wanted to try. I got to finish the two scoops, my parents had a good spoonful to try. It's also topped with a crumbly and crumbling cookie, a little whipped cream and nuts. It's just right to cap off a Sunday lunch indulgence.

I know mom's not going back and my dad won't seem to be in the area without my mom. I'd want to go to the fort one to see if taste is consistent. But i'll always keep this resto in mind for when i'm in the area. P.S. I kept on looking on the wrong side of the road so we missed it the first time. We had to go round to see it and to think i was looking at the maps here in |ooloo. 128517

Service is great! The wait staff knew their stuff, the new ones knew it too but they lacked the conviction in saying things, like they were uncertain.

We loved the food here, but the food quality was overshadowed by the loooooong wait. Appetizers took about an hour to arrive and mains arrived 30 minutes after. The staff also did not use the long waiting time to even serve the mains together. As a result, I was done with my food before my wife received her order. As a result, we all had to take small bites out of each other's food. The servers were also inattentive and I had to approach the cashier/kitchen area myself a few times just to get their attention.

Anyway, food-wise, the fish and mango appetizer was great, as well as the mushroom and egg pasta (that's literally what they call it on the menu). The braised" bacon" was quite tender and flavorful but a bit fatty. The mushroom soup is light and creamy.

5 stars for good flavor, 1 star for the extremely long wait and poor service, so 3 stars overall.

Was only able to try their appetizers but everything we ordered were delicious and had big servings (for 2-3 persons). We tried their shrimp spring rolls, risotto balls, and fish and mango. These are really good dishes to order when you're not that hungry and would like to have a no meat meal. Looking forward to trying their other dishes soon!

We went here on a weekday lunchtime so parking wasn't a problem. But given their spacious restaurant, parking might be an issue when the place is full.

Loved the look of the place and the food was awesome.

We had

rissoto balls - was pretty unique :)
Shrimp spring rolls - made me miss vietnam
Smoked tomato soup - best tomato soup i've ever had
Beef kebab - which was super tender!
Squid ink aligue - with scallops nom!
And Risotto Milanese - sooo good!

And for desert we had tablea flavored ice cream. I really like dark chocolates so this was a no brainer good for me :)

Cons: service was fast but they can get confused. I canceled one of our soups and it replaced it with a different order but ended having both cooked. Also they probably forgot one order that by the time we were near dessert it arrived.

Earth kitchen has been witness to two of the special moments in my life last year. One was on my birthday with fam and the other was in celebration of my saying "yes" to my now boyfriend.

The selling point of this quaint restaurant is their from backyard to kitchen approach and organic food. Its advocacy to support local farmers is something I believe in.

My favorite is the watermelon and rocket salad. That alone is exceptional. The rest is just ok. But knowing what goes inside my body is good for me is more than welcome in my books.

Gluttons? We prefer to be called food enthusiasts. ;)

N got word that Earth Kitchen opens at 6 p.m. and luckily we checked the place out before exploring other areas as it was open! I wonder who blogged that the place is closed till 6 p.m.?

Anyway, we were greeted by a charming façade and a unique door which swivels than swings. The interiors make you feel like you are inside a greenhouse (but air conditioned). I instantly fell in love with the look of the restaurant.

After checking the menu and checking blog posts about the place, we decided to go for the Watermelon and Rocket Salad (PHP270) and Beef Kebab (PHP360). Yes, we try to limit our orders to two per stop this time so that we get to cover more stops.

The Watermelon and Rocket Salad was such a beauty. It was a colorful and photogenic dish. The taste did not fail us too as it was, as my former colleague describes yummy food, a “party in the mouth”. The different textures and flavors went well with each other. I just hoped that the red watermelon was fresher. There was a great balance of sweetness, saltiness and tanginess thanks to the organic arugula, homemade kesong puti, balsamic vinaigrette, pili nuts, and watermelon.

The Beef Kebab was something else too. I love that it was very tender and had a hint of curry taste. It had a strong taste so opting for the organic Ifugao rice was a good call. I also enjoyed the grilled vegetables. Zucchini~ <3

The organic calamansi juice (PHP90) though was a bit too sweet. I prefer my calamansi juice to be tangy.

Overall though, it was a delightful lunch. I will definitely be back to try the other dishes such as the Forest Salad which has organic salted duck eggs.

Don't panic it's ORGANIC!

Earth Kitchen is the definition of eating healthy and enjoying the food at the same time. Only a few offers organic food around the metro, Earth Kitchen is a must-try. I guessed all of their products were properly raised, cultivated and harvested which made everything organic.

One morning while jogging around katipunan early in the morning, I passed by Earth Kitchen; being curious, I searched about when I got home and decided to go here due to good reviews over looloo. I asked my barkada to try it hereand after a couple of weeks of planning and setting up the date, one evening we were already seated inside.128540 Limited parking space by the way.

The place was unrecognizable outside because of the plants and trees that surrounds the resto. I have mistaken it before that sells plants. Haha The place is cozy. It feels homy, being in a province with a garden feels with a few plants around. A reservation is must coz it's packed during lunch and dinner time. We haven't had hard time choosing on the menu coz we did our assignments on to which dish to order.

Watermelon and Rocket Salad. We all loved it. The watermelon and pineapple were sweet that complimented the greens. I liked the caramelized pili nuts too.

Mushroom Spring Roll. It was good but my least fave of the night. Maybe because of the sauce.

Braised Pork Belly. I liked it the most. Two big slabs of bacon cooked to perfection. It's tender and flavorful. I remembered that we all saved a small portion of it on our plate so it would be last thing we tastes that goes inside out mouth. Lol Looking at the brightside, everything they served are organic.

Roasret Chicken. Like the Braised Pork Belly, it's full of flavor too but the pork was the best. On the healthier side, you can order organic chicken served with fresh beans and small potatoes.

4 mushroom and egg Pasta. It's creamy and light. Adding an egg on carbonara is a plus, it adds flavor and consistency on the dish. I'm no expert with mushrooms and wasn't able to count how many types of mushrooms were in the plate. It's really goodz

Goat Cheese Ice Cream. It's good. A bit salty and sweet at the same time. Loved the pili nuts on top.

All of their drinks were good and refreshing.

Service was great. Staff were accomodating and fast.

There are cheaper way to eat healthy food by preparing one for yourself. The foods here are expensive but it's worth it. Definitely going back for their Braised Pork Belly. Haha

Being a notorious pumpkin lover, I was really excited to try Earth Kitchen cuz I heard about a lot of their pumpkin-based dishes. So my friend and I finally went last Saturday!

We got the Rocket salad, pumpkin and goat cheese pasta, beef kebabs, and fish tacos. Safe to say that we over ordered because we were stuffed afterwards 128557

Everything was really really good! When I first saw the salad, I was kinda overwhelmed because it looked so simple. But it worked HAHA. The beef kebabs and fish tacos were addicting, and the pasta (pictured above) was 128525128525128525. I didn't understand its presentation at first; I was like Where's the pasta??? But when I tasted it, it was like creamy pumpkin goodness with explosions of delicious cheese. And the umay factor is prevented by large bits of good bacon.

Please don't judge me but we also got goat cheese ice cream pa after four dishes..... HAHA sadly, I didn't know there was a Looloo promo 128184128184128184

I'd definitely go back but maybe with my parents HAHA. Our bill was over 1k but maybe that's because we ordered way too much for two people. 128553
