1 LITER OF AVOCADO SHAKE!!!!! That's the main reason why I want to go and eat here but unfortunately it was not available during our visit. 128557128557128557128557128557128557128557128557128557128557 But oh well. One good reason to come back again.

Anyway, here's what we ordered:

LAKSA. Good! Warm and very comforting. Just the right level of creaminess/richness and w a little spicy kick. If only I was not too full (from our Nikuya dinner) I would probably enjoy this more. The toppings were very generous, btw. Of course, I got the hard boiled egg and loved it! 128518127859

SIOMAI. Wasn't able to try it anymore but they said it was pretty okay.

YAKITORI STICKS
- Yakitori (asparagus + bacon and mushroom + bacon)
- Yakisausage (sausage + bacon)

These were all good. Tasty and seasoned well.

For my drink, I decided to try the CARROT + APPLE fresh fruit juice. It was just okay. Wasn't able to taste the apple and carrot that much because puro yelo. 128542

Overall, it was a good post dinner w #TheUsualSuspects. 128521128077🏼 Can't wait to go back here w Ony and try the Avocado Shake and the butter chicken and more of the yakitori sticks!!

PS: place is always full so best to go a bit early to avoid the crowd or prepare yourself and be ready to wait. 128521

Eat Fresh will always be a mandatory stop whenever my dad comes home. When he's not here, as much as possible we don't dine here. So when there are changes in the menu, we discover it together. Haha! During our visit, I noticed that there's something new - BACON SHRIMPS. These are big shrimps and asparagus wrapped in bacon and has the same sauce as yakisausage and yakitori. The shrimps tasted artificial and the asparagus was crunchy.

Last time I ate at Eat Fresh was on their Banawe branch..

Since I was craving for some lobster balls and we were in greenhills.. Had dinner at their Greenhills branch for the 1st time

What we had
- special squidballs
- lobster balls
- chinese sausage claypot rice
- spareribs claypot rice
- chicken feet
- big isaw
- fishball soup
- black and white gulaman

Since i was so hungry was only able to take a pic of the claypot rice! 128541

Food was delicious.. downside is the place is small and can get really crowded fast due to the number of people waiting / wanted to eat.. oh and one more thing the chinese lady who was manning the cashiers booth (and probably the owner) was very mataray / masungit 128528 not surprised though since the servers were also masungit.. following up your order will get you a death stare! 128553

Other than that.. food was delicious. Just come for the food.. dont expect much on the service. 128517

If you are looking for a quick fix for Chinese food. This is a good enough place. Just expect a jam packed lunch or dinner which means a tad slow on service requests.

The food was good. They have a variety of fried street foods that will surely make you hungry as you smell the food cooked from their kitchen from the street.

Eat Fresh along J. Abad Santos in San Juan City is one of the two options* we have when it's past 10pm and we're still hungry (or just craving for something). It's open until 12mn and you can have all the starch-filled food you can have!

They have to-go area and dine-in place which is airconditioned. Service is not very accommodating nor organized. That's fine if they're staying true to HK culture (you know how service is at hole in the walls in HK). Nai Cha large is like your Serenitea tabo and it's wonderful. They serve laksa as well, with all the streetfood offerings inside the steamboat. They also have claypot dishes and if you really intend to have dinner here, it'll cost you around 400. What we ordered:

Laksa, Chicken Feet and Spareribs Claypot Rice, Large Nai Cha, 2 sticks of street food in curry sauce and we paid around 630 pesos. Mind you, that's probably a lot for 2 people but we have iron stomachs. Char.

I didn't have space anymore for the pancakes which I really wanted. :(

Cost/Value for Money: Contrary to popular belief, this place is NOT cheap. You may think it's cheap because the street food costs 38/stick but it's just glorified PotDog because of curry sauce. Unless you're on a diet and can live with eating just 2 sticks of snow shrimps, props to you! (I'm not being snobbish but starch is starch. And although I still like getting my pancake and nai cha fix here, starch is still starch. Haha.)

Parking: Try to find a space along J Abad and there is a friendly manong who can assist you. If you're coming at past 10pm, parking is quite easy. Goodluck though if around dinner time because you'll have to battle it out with hangry customers from nearby Sodam (good place!) as well.

Heads up though. Pres. Duterte's cutout always gets me. "Hi, ate. Dine in." "Pasok na lang po kayo." *Bam!!* Cutout is there near the door. Ginawang guard si President?! Panakot? Haha.

*North Park is the other one which is open till 1/2am.

How come I only discovered this place recently (and almost, by accident?) This place is a gem. 128142

🦀 After giving a talk to young kids at Keys School, me and my friend are famished. We passed by this restaurant and she said, “Oh, I heard this place, it’s supposed to be good”. So obviously, we tried it. Hehe. Eat fresh is famous for their Hong Kong Street Food Style of service, so we ordered crab fingers, lobster balls, bacon wrapped shrimp, and breaded scallops. They were all good and so affordable! For the claypot, we had the fish taoisi and the beef brisket. Both are equally good. The serving is big enough is you consider that we also ate food on stick. I had lemon coke for drinks – I thought it’s your regular coke with sliced lemon, but apparently there is a lemon-flavored coke! Yummy.

Parking can be a bit of a hassle, because there is none. You have to find a spot along the road, at your risk. Overall, a good dining experience. I hope to return here with my family soon.

I love San Juan. It's a busy little city yet boasts of good eats. This resto is one of my faves.

I don't want to write a long review because just thinking about my gastro experience makes me hungry again.

This place has a lot to offer. Their noodle soup, street food on stick, laksa, claypot dishes and dimsum. All reasonably priced. Their place is usually cramped and I'm guessing they have a lot of loyal patrons. Their name is a giveaway --- Hongkong street food it is in San Juan.

Oh by the way, their bacon shrimp on stick is to die for.

Curry beef tendon rice Ina clay pot, pigs ears, yakitori, salt and pepper squid. We are happy campers.

They have an unusual standee out in front though, a life-sized cutout of Rodrigo Duterte. Not sure what that's all about 128512

I ordered a Beef Curry rice and black & white gulaman. It's served on a hot pot, like it's fresh off the grill. It's really hot that you have to wait a few minutes to let it cool down before eating it. The curry sauce is ok, and the beef is good as well. Serving is enough for one(not for those with hungry appetite though). The black & white gulaman is BIG(1-liter) and it's not so sweet; sugar level is enough for you to want it more and more. Since it's good, I didn't realize that I already emptied half of the cup on my first sip.

I would recommend those who would want to have a light meal to come and try Eat Fresh.

Pancake Balls are the only Hong Kong street food that I enjoyed or remember trying on past trips but that did not stop me from dining here the first time. Since my first try years ago, I have been to this branch several times with different people and once to the Banawe branch with hubby.

My favorites are the fried things on sticks (crab fingers, lobster balls and snow shrimp) which I dip alternately with the curry sauce and the other sauces. Their Laksa is delicious, good for sharing and extremely spicy. The Salt and Pepper Squid is good too although a bit spicy. Another treat is the 1 Liter Black Gulaman which is so refreshing. My titas and cousins enjoy the Beef Brisket and Beef Tendon. Skip the Spareribs and Takoyaki.

Parking situation is on the street and park at your own risk so we usually take an Uber or Grab. Airconditioning is comfortably cool Interiors are simple. Cash basis only.
