We are roaming around the centris walk when suddenly pass to this store. Before i thought that echo store was just a organic store but not anymore they serve coffee and pasta. So me and my foodie boyfriend went to have coffee and dessert. I tried cafe espagnole which is like a cafe mocha only that the chocolate use is tablea (cost 85 pesos) and my boyfriend ordered chocnut shake with ice cream base ( cost 135). We also try the toblerone sans rival cake which cost 175 pesos. The choc nut shake is really great (I envy my boyfriend because he had it as a drink) because the choc nut flavor was there and no overpowering taste from the ice cream. I also love the toblerone sans rival. I also thought to buy some carmen's best ice cream and good news they have a small package of the ice cream which cost 120 and large pint cost 350 to 450. Overall we will go back again to try their pasta and other meals.

Echocafe, the place is quite small located at Eton Centris. There are parking areas near the stores. I tried the Pinoy Breakfast tapa since I like tapa. Well in my opinion, the serving is quite small. But the dishes are healthy and organic. The place is a restaurant at the same its a store. The service of the crew is nice. The cleanliness of the store, its nice that the place is clean.

Eating healthy has always been one of our goal but as we all know it’s easier said than done. Right? Once in a while we try to look for ways to be “healthy” and look for restaurants that offer “healthy” food options. So when we ended up in Centris after a work day we decided to try Echo Cafe.

Pasta a la Trio (Php 250) which is ECHOcafé’s signature pasta. The pasta was cooked al dente, making it chewy and bouncy. I could taste the beautifully synchronized flavors in one mouthful; it was “party in your mouth” kind of dish — spicy, sweet, salty and sour. This could be one of the most delectable pastas I’ve ever eaten. Even if finishing a plate would mean exceeding my caloric allotment for a week, there’s no way I’d let this Pasta a la Trio pass by uneaten next time.

Pinoy Breakfast Homemade Tapa (Php 275)
with garlic rice, egg
The meal was incredibly satisfying! I was just halfway through this wonderful breakfast meal and I was already full.

Poached Organic Eggs with wilted spinach (Php 225)
Beautifully poached organic eggs.. Break into it and you get ooey-gooey with a hint of sweet and salty. Drool. 128563

Pandan Iced Tea (Php 95)
The fragrance and flavors of Pandan leaves seems to be a perfect pair – my favorite combination.

Food is delicious and a must-try. We want to try the other items on their menu but I guess it will have to wait.

I hope that more people will patronize local and eco-friendly products and eat healthy (if not organic) food. Maybe you would like to try them out soon?

I am a fan of the pumpkin soup and the malunggay pesto. Who would've thought local ingredients can provide a healthier alternative in your everyday foreign meal?!

Nice place with a nice commitment to save the environment! I get to have my all natural supplies of food as well as hygienic and kitchen products from their echostore inside.

All they need to improve is their restroom and wash area. It's sad to see disorganized stocks outside with the lavatory not functioning. It's a great place so I hope the add-ins are fully functioning too.

Venue:
You have to walk a little from the parking space but it's not too faraway. No smoking area. There is not a lot of space for dining. It can only take probably 20 pairs of diners. Clean and cozy. High ceiling, very good ventilation. Not sure if they have their own restroom.

Customer service:
They are nice but lacks attentiveness. They need to work on that. Nothing extraordinary.

Food:
Pasta ala Trio - I asked for the best selling pasta and this was her recommendation. Server said it's a combination of the following trio - Pesto, Al Tonno and Arrabbiata. Sweet, hot, spicy and salty... Pasta was cooked to perfection. I love it! Only that it's best paired with a cola or you'll end up feeling too full because of the oil's richness. I also wish that the tuna pieces were not too small. Ingredients were to scoop together with pasta. Ending with a plate of the pasta. Garlic toast needs more toasting. It wasn't crunchy. Yummy regardless!

Overall:
I love this place. Recommending this restaurant. They also sell organic products 12852212807710084127860

It's very rare to find a cafe that serves organic food so why wouldn't give it a try?

Veggie spring rolls 1108811088
Pasta a la trio 110881108811088
Tuna melt sandwich 11088110881108811088
Spinach and cheese tortillawich 1108811088110881108811088
Homemade chorizong hubad (served with combination of brown and red rice)110881108811088
Carmen's best salted caramel 1108811088110881108811088

Aside from their echo cafe, they also sell organic products. My dad bought a pre-made tea/juice (mixture of malunggay, okra, calamansi and luya, sweetened with muscovado sugar) and I tell you it was very refreshing and doesn't taste awful! The taste was better than your usual morning tea. We got a free taste before buying the product 128515

Ill come back to this cafe (except for the veggie spring rolls) 128541

Anyway, healthy food choices are often times the one that's costly. 128518

We ordered vigan longganisa pasta and tuna melt sandwich. I preferred the pasta to be oil based, it was too rich and creamy for me. The cream overpowered the longganisa. The serving was big though. Tuna melt sandwich was a winner! The bread was baked with herbs so it smells heavenly. We also had veggie spring roll with shrimps and it was actually disappointing for the price. It was 250 after all. It had very few shrimp pieces in each of the roll, which was not small, I tell you. Huge rolls filled with fresh lettuce, cucumber and carrots. And a few pieces of thinly sliced shrimps. They used rice paper (used in Vietnamese rolls) as wrapper instead of the usual eggroll lumpia wrapper.

For drinks, I had iced latte which was very good. Their coffee is organic. The bf ordered lemongrass iced tea and it tastes too lemongrass-y. He had to it a lot of syrup so he could drink it.

We paid 1050 pesos all in all. I am not very impressed and the price was too expensive.

I got the French Mushroom Omelette (Php255), because damn if I don't want to eat food with a 400% mark up. 128516

The menu says it's 2 farm fresh eggs with mushroom so I wasn't expecting there to be a lot but what I got occupied nearly half of the big plate and was about 2 & 1/2 inches on its thickest part. It is the weirdest omelette I've ever had. The texture is like a failed brazo de mercedes. Really dry but so freakin' fluffy in all the wrong ways, it's nearly bread. Doesn't taste like it had salt either and the mushrooms were negligible. My companion & I struggled to finish it.

The 3 stars is because I appreciate places where the music and noise doesn't strain conversations. Also, their little grocery store at the back had some interesting foodstuff. Only for that, i may come back.

Months have passed since I first read reviews for this place and I couldn't have been happier when I got to try it 'cause it meant that I could finally get a taste of the famous Carmen's Best salted caramel ice cream!! ... While of course, trying out their healthy organic meals. 128539

Got their Mushroom Omelette (around PHP 295 I think) because it was one of the praised items here by some reviewers. Or a reviewer.. It was SO BIG! It was as big as the freaking plate! 128563 Do not order anything else if you plan on getting this. And it was so fluffy! Like really really really fluffy! I liked it at first but vinaigrette coming from the side "salad" (which was literally just on the side of the omelette) got absorbed by the omelette, which I did not like at all. It was so weird. It was like dipping the omelette that had mushrooms and cheese in.. Vinegar. Bleh.

The cozy place, warm lights, and their selling of Carmen's Best and Merry Moo ice cream kind of made up for it though... I also enjoyed looking at their store. They sell a lot of organic stuff, veggie meat, locally made beauty stuff, natural weight loss stuff and handmade bags. It was nice. They also have a small cute place at the back for kids to play in and read books.

They could work on their restroom and their sink though. Walking to the restroom was weird 'cause it felt like I was walking in an area I wasn't supposed to be in (like their stock room or a place where they put rejected objects)? It was so messy 128563 and they didn't provide decent hand soap. Not cool.

If your craving for healthy dishes the Echo Cafe is a nice option located at Centris. Seats were comfy and tables were spacious. Background music was not that influential but the amicable servers and kids corner make-up for its minor setback. Fellow members with kids would be elated at how behave their kids (mine is a tremendously terrorizing terrible 2 by the way) would be in the kiddy corner. The price is kind of hefty but the taste of the Grilled Chicken Sandwich was delectable and appetizing. Salad was likewise palatable but their shakes could have been better since it was a bit thick.

Price range for their products range from P175-P250. Expensive? Yes, but people often spend the same amount (even more on certain occasions) on coffee, deserts and other sugar induced delicacies. So why not try something that is tasty and healthy for change...think about it. :-) Lastly, if your craving for sweets the Carmen's Best Salted Caramel (as the label states Pure Indulgence!) is highly recommended by this reviewer. Hmmmm something doesn't match right? Well then it's for me to know and for you to find-out in case you drop by at Centris Walk. ;-)

Organic is the new black! Went here for merienda with friends and almost stayed till dinner 128513. Healthy and filling food choices 127805127813127814127840127821127821127824127820127816127825127827127817127817127815127826127819127818. While waiting for your order (or after eating), you can shop for organic products they offer.
I wish there would be more cafe/restos like this in the metro. And I wish I can say no 128581 to fastfood forever 128516.
