We were in Tagaytay for a friends wedding, and my wife booked us a lake view room at this hotel because of its affordable rate. We also found it interesting that it's an "eco hotel".
You can find many recycled things in this hotel, from a cork for your room key, to empty wine bottles as light covers or serving plates, to wooden pallets that have been refurbished to suit their needs.
After staying in Spin Hostel in El Nido, Flotsam and Jetsam in La Union, this Eco Hotel gave off the same type of vibe.
The room is very simple, about 11sqm, with a queen bed, a sink, a small TV with some cable channels, toilet, and shower.
Shower comes with a shampoo dispenser, and the heater is solar powered. Toiletries and amenities are available upon request from the front desk, none were in the room when we entered. They let us check in at 1pm so maybe they forgot to put some in, although I cannot be really sure if that was the reason.
The staff of the hotel were very nice.
The roof deck is open air, with a very nice view of the lake.
The hotel is right across the street from a mall, which is convenient, to cross the street you must walk a bit to cross via an elevated walkway.
There is also a white dog named Blue who is a very sweet girl, she reminds me of Snowy from Tintin.
Breakfast is good, wasn't anything spectacular but the view from the roof deck is picturesque.
It's pretty much a good hostel, or a 2 star hotel. Wifi did not reach our room on the second floor, and 3G/4G signal for smart is almost nonexistent.
If you go in expecting a hostel, you'll be just fine. If you go in thinking it's a 3 star hotel, you may be disappointed.

...very nice and affordable hotel strategically located in tagaytay. Hotel itself is made from recycled materials. Nothing fancy but definitely decent and quaint.
...word of caution. The setup of their bed is not made for tall people.
