A foodie's paradise!
the place is on Sta rosa island which is like 15-20 minutes boat ride from mactan and another 15-20mins tricycle ride going to the other side of the island. We rented a van going to the pier for convenience to a group of 11. the boat ride costs all 11 for 126pesos only for one way. cheaper than the tricycle ride which was 120 per tricycle per way. crossing to the floating restaurant is free because the owners have their own boat to take customers from the shore to their restaurant. but I tell you now that this route is cheaper than renting a boat from cebu to the restaurant, but that route I recommend for those who want to go island hopping, its around 2500-3000 per boat, whole day. its a big boat but am not sure about the capacity.
I placed the picture of the view on the restaurant to entice you more to come and visit the place. the trip was worth our time, sa dagat palang ang ganda ganda na. clean and clear waters! i cant believe cebu is holding a beauty like this.
the restaurant serves really fresh seafoods like shrimps, different fishes, abalone, clams, oysters, lobsters of different kinds, crabs of different kinds. they put their catches on a net trap soaked on the sea under the restaurants and staffs dive for your orders, a unique and amazing idea. but don't worry, their lavatories have tanks, the creatures are safe to eat.
well my review wouldn't focus on how their food tasted, just as what I said on seafoods, they couldn't go wrong if they are fresh. but okay let me describe them to you a bit, squids are soft and sweet, shrimps and lobsters are sweet too, sweet on their natural way. ummmm Am huungry right now, so I have to stop there.
guests can dip in to the waters while waiting for their orders, but ooops, they don't have a source of fresh water for rinsing.
price range. I say this place is for foreigns. puts a whole in a pocket but all worth it.
Ps. there are other floating restos but this was is the first and still the best.
