First things first, I love their tiles. Hexagons!

Looking at their interior design, I find it very relaxing. The mix of blue and brown is very nice. I think the design of the place if very well thought out.

We went here for dessert, after a huge meal. Hence, we all got soft serve ice cream. Plain is sold for 60 pesos while flavored ones are sold for 80 pesos. Being such a fruit lover, I got the strawberry. I loved it especially since their soft serve is made from Holly’s Fresh Milk!

That’s it for now. Take care everyone.

Next time I'll order the premium cheesesteak over the classic...less litid in the slices though a bit pricier. Love the fries.

This is the loaded chicken something sandwich. So sorry I forgot the name but don't worry, I didn't forget how good it is! It is packed, heavy and delicious. The bread is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. As for the chicken patty, it's crunchy, moist and juicy. It's perfect with the sauce they make. I maybe biased since I love chicken but I do think, it's one of the best and a good alternative to their burgers which I understand, must be a hard choice to make! 🤗

After watching the movie Mockingjay Part 2, back last Nov, we decided to eat here.

Per review they said the food taste great here. Well some of them. I didn't like what i ordered that night coz it was so spicy i did not enjoy eating it.

Anyway we ordered Tuna Melt, Southwestern Grilled Chicken (w/jalapeno that i didn't like 128533, i thought the jalapeno can be mild on tastee but what they had was strong that i couldn't eat it) and Angus Burger. Also we ordered Fries and Onion rings.

We all tasted each other sandwiches and the winner which is in the picture the Angus Burger. It's so tasty worth every penny. Haha

I also liked their fries and most of all the onion rings. I love how big they are and how crunchy. Yey! 128077

The place is also cool. Nice place to eat and the staff are also friendly. The environment is also clean.

Con M, Vigs L, Mimi and I decided to have our dinner here after watching the movie. We ordered Southwestern Grilled Chicken sandwich with Jalapeno, Tuna Melt with American cheese and their newest sandwich, Reuben.

Southwestern Grilled Chicken sandwich with Jalapeno – rustic roll with grilled chicken breast, cheddar, lettuce, barbecue sauce & jalapeno. Your server will ask you if you want to put Jalapeno or not. Better say “no” if you’re not into spicy foods.

Tuna Melt with American cheese – rustic roll with the sumptuous amount of Gensan yellowfin tuna and melted cheese. This one was just okay.

Reuben – This is for FTW and will definitely recommend this to my carnivore friend. Rye bread with 2 slices of flavorful and juicy corned beef, thousand island dressing and sauerkraut. Oh! Why so good?!

For me, their sandwich serving can be good for sharing, especially when you ordered lots of side orders just like what we did. We ordered 2 orders of fries and 1 basket of onion rings.

Will definitely come back for more! 128077

We tried out their Rueben and American Cheese Steak last Saturday.. And both were SO GOOOOOOD! 128525128525128525 Although, I prefer the Rueben more than the Cheese steak. It's got 2 slabs of corned beef with a generous amount of sauekraut. 128076 But I think the Cheese Steak would be the safest recommendation to first time visitors.

For dessert, we got their soft served vanilla ice cream 127846, which is said to be made from fresh cow's milk.. And it tastes like the Haw Haw candy. Mmmm!

Definitely going back to try their other sandwiches. 128515

I blame only myself from holding back during the times I wanted to try this place out, I would've been done with half of their sandwiches by now 128514

We had the truffle mushroom burger, bone marrow burger, chili dog and reuben sandwich. It was just me and bf btw haha. Anyway, I'd like to let you guys know that their burger is insanely good and flavorful but watch out, it is evilicious too! I mean bone marrow spread on a burger, bf surely felt the heat and cholesterol after 128514 (read: putok-batok). They do ask for the doneness of your meat so that's great and they do it right. I have to be honest and say I liked the bone marrow better than the truffle mushroom bec the meat flavor was just stronger and I like it that way.

As for the chili dog, chili was awesome and the beans were good and not all mushed up but the sausage was really tiny but really very, very flavorful. Thinking about it now, wish I added cheese on top though! 128527

The reuben sandwich was a little disappointing for me. It had very little meat too and was just all sauerkraut. The cheese and sauerkraut is very good but would have been better with right amount of meat.

The fries were made from real potatoes and was sticky, starchy and soft but not bad. The onion rings on the other hand was huge and too crispy. I don't like them with breading but theirs is ok.

The only concern I have here is the bread which is a major factor for a sandwich place. The burger buns were too big for the amount of meat and the outside was bit too crunchy on the outside, especially for the reuben sandwich. I mean, after dinner, I had slashes on my hard palate lol Don't get me wrong it is good but it could be better.

I love sandwiches and it's a great thing there are more establishments that specialize on it now. Definitely dining here again when I go back to commerce center978697869786

The crispy chicken sandwich was good and filling. Had vanilla milk shake too but I wish it was richer or thicker but overall it was good. Will come back to try the the other sandwiches the next time I'm in town. The mushroom cheese truffle sandwich was so tempting.

Soon as I saw barbecue on this one, that was it for me. I gotta have it! Filled with onions, coleslaw and some jalapeño peppers, their Chipotle Pulled Pork was a sure win for me! 127937

Their 8-hour Texas barbecued pork butt paired well with the bbq sauce. Makes for one tangy sandwich balanced out by the slight creaminess of the coleslaw. Though a bit expensive for a sandwich (priced at P280), they didn't scrimp on the ingredients so it was worth it. For an additional P80, you could have this with fries and drink. 127839127828127865

Tried the tuna melt sandwich and the truffle mushroom melt sandwich and I loved both of them!

The yellowfin tuna was delicious and probably one of the best tuna sandwiches I've had.

The truffle mushroom melt was even better! I love mushrooms. The taste of truffle blended well with the cheeses. I love it!

I'm so glad they moved here in the south 128522

Finally had the chance to dine here. Formerly called Elbert's cheesesteak and formerly located at Rockwell, this new branch is located at Commercenter, Filinvest.
Since it's no-meat Friday, I did not order my favorite, the Umami burger and ordered the Tuna melt instead, made with Gensan Yellowfin tuna128077 in premium mayo served in their rustic roll128077 and with american cheese.
My wife ordered the truffle mushroom melt128077128077, with shitake and white mushrooms, mozarella and provolone, truffle sauce and served in buttered sourdough bun and she liked it! Perfect for vegetarians!
Ordered their fries which is one of the best IMO and Sola Raspberry and Lemon 128077
Great ambiance and service. Nice background music coming out of that awesome Marshall Hanwell speaker128077128526127926128266

The past week, the cravings have been for sandwiches and meat. In all honesty, a pastrami sandwich. But I knew I was going to have a late dinner that considering to eat at Earle's wasn't possible. I checked out |ooloo and spotted Elbert's.

Known for its steakhouse and ramen stores, I expected nothing short of good quality meats, nice service and expensive price. Their menu is quite extensive. Though I took a photo, I would much rather post my food. Since it was late, i was the only person in the resto. I was warmly greeted by staff but it looked like they were waiting for the store to close. I took my time looking at the menu despite the fact that I had checked on some reviews on looloo. The girl behind the counter suggested intro their best-seller - a cheesesteak. I thought to myself, yeaaa best-seller, let's not be a rebel today. I should have listened to my gut and went with a hoagie. This is a 5-inch sandwich, but every time I hear hoagie I'm reminded of a sports team so I ended up with an 8-inch sandwich (in photo) that I could not finish. The cheese steak was everything I imagined it to be. But there was nothing spectacular in it. It had good quality meat, the taste was ok, price was worth the sandwich (kinda expensive at P450) but it lacked oomph. Maybe I wasn't feeling it since I was craving for pastrami. The fries weren't so great, maybe I was expecting truffle fries, that would be my fault. Service was great, though! I was well attended to.

Best burgers in the south. Big, flavorful and greasy. Hehehe. Best with provolone, mushrooms and bacon. Add some jalapenos if you want a little kick. Their hotdogs are also pretty good. Must visit when you are near the commerce center in filinvest alabang.

So there I was, after dropping off the car for a maintenance check, and before the start of the movie while I waited for the check to finish. I had a few minutes to spare so I dropped into Elbert's Sandwiches for a snack.

At the counter, I looked over the menu and ordered a hoagie of their bestseller, the American cheesesteak. An additional P80 upgraded it to include fries and a soda.

In the past, my experiences with non-burger sandwiches have usually been disappointing, and particularly for cheesesteak-type ones, the meat is usually the big let-down, lacking in flavor, often tough and stringy as well. Fortunately, this visit was a welcome change.

The steak was actually the star of the sandwich - well seasoned and tender, and yet retaining good texture. Onions were also beautifully caramelized, and the crisp fries were a great accompaniment.

Overall, I commend them for giving me hope for loving sandwich joints yet.
