Go for the lunch set! Great value for your money. You get a choice of either soup or salad, a nice slab of prime rib, dessert and coffee or tea.

I got the salad with raspberry vinaigrette which was okay; greens were crisp and the dressing was pleasant. For the prime rib, you can choose from either 1/2 inch, 1 inch or 3 thin slices - don't underestimate the size! I ordered the 1 inch prime rib (medium rare, of course) and it was HUGE. The 1/2 inch is the same size but thinner. They serve it with horseradish and au jus. My prime rib was delightfully pink, tender, and delicious! I couldn't believe I got a steak that big for less than 2k.

For dessert, try the Panna Cotta or the chocolate mousse. The serving's quite small, but you'd be too full from the steak to finish a huge serving anyway!

Had lunch here (set lunch) a couple of weeks ago and ordered Steak à la Tapa (FTW!), thin slices of Ribeye ‘tapa’ style with truffled fried egg, served with garlic fried rice, my favorite pumpkin soup, salad of mixed greens with vinaigrette, dessert and Lavazza coffee.
Will try the duck confit on my next visit.

If you want an excellent fine dining experience, go here! This is my 3rd time to experience Elbert's and I swear nothing has changed. I ordered fillet mignon for myself and 2 super prime grade ribeye for my other siblings. I forgot what my parents ordered. Together with our orders are garden salad and pumpkin soup! Well, they were all yummy!!! I loved that the pumpkin soup was not too creamy that you'll get umay. Lol I couldn't say anything bad really cause they even gave us a plate of desserts which composed of I think 5 desserts. I'm not sure if they give that to all of their customers though. AND AND AND my brother's cake!!!!! It was a classic chocolate cake! 10084️ Would definitely come back! 128523

Another go to steak place of mine.

Do lunch if you want value for money.

The place is too cool old school. They have an area for after dinner drinks and cigars. Nice enough wine selection.

The steaks are always good. Pared down menu that can't be beat. I hate that parking is a nightmare. A good place to take out of town guests who are convinced great steaks are a myth in Manila.

Elbert's Steak Room is like a steak oasis. You have to seek to find it. I have been hearing about this place for such a long time and didn't know where it was, when you go here, there are no signs of the name of the place outside.

I chose the Elbert's Cheese steak. It comes with either soup or salad and a dessert.

I started with the salad and it was really fresh and came in a serving that is enough to boost your appetite. It had a great tasting vinaigrette dressing which is a perfect way to start a meal.

Then my cheese steak came, it came in a big serving that I could only eat half of it. Their beef is outstanding, really tender and juicy Definitely USDA beef quality. Together with provolone cheese and caramelized onions, it was superb! It is served with pommes frites, that was crunchy in the outside with tender parts in the middle, yum!

..and for dessert, I chose the Chocolate mousse! This one is also a winner. The mousse was delicate and perfectly sweet, I can't get enough. Such a great way to end a great meal!

This set lunch is for Php 750+ (service charge).
Worth it for the quality of food, the service and a great ambiance.

Hard to find old style steak houses similar to Prince Albert maybe 20 years ago or more but this one comes close.

The prime cut's always the main choice. Medium or medium rare. Wagyu, USDA, Angus. List goes on.

What I like about this place is it's oakiness. The place puts a premium on privacy. You see your local stock brokers, bankers, and others celebrating a deal that's been closed or about to be.

Steak is cooked by Elbert. Can't really go wrong there but it has something no other steakhouse still has. A cigar room. I was pleasantly surprised this place acknowledges the tradition of a good cigar after a hearty and celebratory meal.

For these reasons, it's my favorite. :)

It's good to be KING!! 128526

Dropped by Elbert's and got their King's cut for lunch. Daaaayymm this guy knows his meat! If you are a true steak fan then this is heaven! Heaven with nice wooden furnishings and comfy seats. The ambiance is as much part of the dining experience as the food when you are in Elbert's, I just feel relaxed and soothed whenever I visit this place. It could also be because I know I'm about to be served awesome food and that I will be in perpetual bliss for the next hour or so, this place turn cows into wondrous offerings fit for the gods! (been watching too much Vikings) lol

If I could eat here everyday I would! The steak was huuuge, 3/4 an inch thick of pure medium cooked goodness. I couldn't find anything wrong, it was perfect! A very very happy customer right here! 128077128077
