I visited Elias on a Sunday for dinner with my fam. We ordered Molo Soup, spicy crispy pata, and adobo lamb.

The menu is so funny because they used characters from Noli Me Tangere & El Fili. Don't fret though because there's a description in the menu.

The food is good. The crispy pata is too garlicky and not spicy at all but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The soup serving bowl looks small but it contains a loooot of soup. I even had 2 bowls of it. Be careful in bringing outside food though, you have to pay for corkage if you eat it in the restaurant.

First off, I am not a die hard fan of Filipino food but when we all craved for some after my graduation. My mom insisted for us to grab some food in Elias.

I love beef morcon and when I have Corazon's morcon to compare it to, Elias' morcon which they call the Emilio didn't fail me. Their kare kare was so goooood too!

Aside from that, their seafood was also ace.
I would surely come back for all these.
Their chocolate cake is a must try as well. A complimentary ube ice cream with macapuno will be served for those who are celebrating their birthdays, for me, my graduation.
Hehe. 5stars!

Good service and friendly waitstaff. Clean place (and restroom) with good decor. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. The menu looks great but not what you would go out of your way for.

Cheat day!!! What is a better way to spend Sunday than to be with your family.

Had their kare-kare, crispy pata, morcon and brussen tofu. Everything is just so good. But this morcon is the star of the... Lunch. I am like eating a really cheesy spaghetti sauce without the spaghetti or maybe lasagna but yeah that is the idea. It is really tasty and cheesy at the same time. Brussen tofu is sizzling tofu with sweet mayo I think which is also yummy.

This is my mom's favorite resto whenever we visit Magnolia. 128513

Had lunch at Elias with my bosses, we ordered the seafood platter, crispy pata, sinigang na fish, laing with bagnet and i had the caramel cake for dessert. The seafood platter was okay I liked the grilled tuna and the squid, but the tilapia and the hito were ordinary. Crispy pata was good too, t'was tender and so crispy. Sinigang was just right, i think it had watermelon on it because of the color and the sweet taste. Laing with bagnet was delicious! I was so excited for the dessert because i am a huge fan of Estrels caramel cakes and it looked like it, but naaaahhh it was so dry and not good at all! (Disappointed) my bosses had the ripe mango with hot chocolate on the side, and they too didn't like it at all... the ripe mango was sooooo sour and the hot chocolate was served cold =(

Haaaappyyyyyyyy Biiiiiirthhhdaaayyyy toooooo yo- wait, it ain't anyone's birthday!! Whyyyyy!!! 128557

So we went to Robinsons Magnolia to check out some stuff and my Sister Suzette C wanted to eat some churros, so we went to Elias. So classy 128076 we ate an early dinner already so we wanted to eat, like, just desserts 128517 so she ordered churros and i couldn't make up my mind..so the waitress suggested that i try the Caramel Cake Slice which wasn't on the menu 128563 oh..this mist be unique 128527

So when i got the cake...i dont even know.... It looked childish. Wasn't classy as what I had expected...maybe its in the taste...nope! It tasted like the typical birthday cake!! You know what i'm talking about! Soft cake with that cliche icing taste from the bistro! OMG. What did i just eat.

My theory is: (1)someone had a birthday and there was leftover cake. (2)She suggested something out of the menu. (3)It tasted like the birthday cake you buy from dem bistros. 128567128567128567128567128567128567128567 well played miss, well played..128544128545128545128545128545128545128545128545 It didn't even tasted like caramel! Rip off artist! #pissed

just for that, i ain't eating there again. Good ridence *spits*

Was craving for Churros, so i searched "churros robinsons magnolia" on google:))) i hope one day looloo makes that feature where you can search for food, aside from the restaurant name:))

Anyway, so Elias was the only store with Churros (according to my research) so I insisted to eat there. Huhu.

I got there and without looking at the menu I said I want churros. Haha! And so yeah, they got me churros. This is my new fave place to eat churros (former number one is the one guy from mercato) but since this place always is always here, and not just weekends, this is now my go-to Churros place!

I love it! Here's why:
1. The fact that i font have to touch the churros while dipping it with chocolate.
2. The chocolate is fondue type, meaning yes, it's heated by candles below!
3. Serving of the chocolate is not limited! Some other shops i tried, i have to save chocolate to fit the small amount of chocolate, in here, i can dip as much chocolate i want and still have left over chocolate for me to eat! Yum!!!

Best part is, it costs the same with other shops but serving presentation and amount is better. So i would rather choose this than other stores! Yay!

We ask if they put vetsin (MSG) on their food they say they did, we requested not to put any, & they were corteous enough not to put any On our food. Maybe because of it the food taste blant for me.
The calameres 128078 expensive & too little serving
The laing is good 128077
Pakbet 128078 it taste bitter (even my sister said so)
Crispy pata is just ordinary
Fried chicken 128078 my dad said it's dry
Sizzling bulalo 128077128077 the gravy taste so good

My friends took me here a while ago just so I can visit Rob Magnolia (coz I haven't been here yet) we we're supposed to have lunch along West Ave lang dapat..
Since it's their treat naman, wala namg arte.. 128514128514
We ordered Tarsillo Squid (na akala ko sobrang laki) - I was a bit disappointed kasi ang liliit lang niya 128531 though I had it all for myself.. 128517
Sinigang Gomez - i love sinigang kaso walang raddish so, 128078 but yes masarap naman siya.. Sinigang isn't complete without the raddish.. 128514
Lumpiang Hubad - na mukhang masarap yet I didn't have the chance to taste it.. 128531
Then my friend ordered chocolate moist cake..

An El Fili inspired restaurant the menu was named after the character in the Novel. The food was typical filipino food what stood out was the Kare-kare, Binakol and lengua.. I'm not sure but the menu and taste was almost the same with Crisostomo. The only complain I have would be the melon juice they served was maasim. But they deduct the order in our menu. :)

Pardon for this late review. We celebrated this special Sunday by a simple mall lakwatsa with Mama. 128516 We decided to go to Robinson's Magnolia this time. As per request by our mom, we headed straight to Elias. Too bad they don't allow reservation since we are anticipating extra number of parokyanos since its mother's day. The staff are courteous and attentive. Food tasted good. I guess I fell in love with the taste of their laing, crispy pata is also good. Ambiance is also pleasant. 128516128536 Nice choice of resto Ma!! 128516

Sunday bonding after church, there small pusit (forgot the name) is delicious. Pansit is ordinary, lechong kawali is matigas, crispy pata is also ordinary, the oyster appetizer is good, we don't like there molo soup (our version is much better) the suman with chocolate is delicious. Expensive for me.

We celebrated my dad's birthday at this resto. We ordered pancit bam-i guisado, paella valenciana, soup with shrimp in coconut juice, fried hito, baked oysters and pork sisig.

Pork sisig was too oily and the serving size was too small. Maybe it's because it's suppose to be an appetizer.

Paella was good. Lots of meat and the rice was not overcooked.

Baked oysters had pretty large oysters so yey!

The soup was surprisingly good. It had hipong tabang so it's the not typical tiger shrimp or suahe. It's like tinola but with shrimps. The buko juice was perfect with the shrimps.

The noodles was slightly salty but mix calamansi juice and you're good.

Fried hito was good too, lacked a bit of meat. So it was a bit disappointing.

We used a voucher from cash cash Pinoy. Sulit pa rin naman. :)
