So many flavors to try, but I have to choose just one flavor. So first I ordered my cone which is with rice crispies. Then I chose space cake, the description says it’s a cake batter ice cream with shortbread crumbs and red velvet cake pieces. First thing, it was HUGE! 128561 Got a lot of attention because of it. 128514 Second, it was surprisingly really good, too creamy for the bf though 128517. But I’ll be back to try their other flavors.♥️

I’m a huge fan of ice cream so knowing that Emack & Bolio’s opening in Manila made me giddy like a child.

I read that this ice cream chain originated in Boston and was founded on 1975.The history of this shop is quite cool as it was born out of “peace, love, and rock ‘n roll” concept.

Emack & Bolio’s shop is located at the ground level of Ayala Malls the 30th. The place is small that there’s no tables and chairs for dine-in customers. The shop is colorful though. I love the ambiance - it makes everyone crave for something sweet.

I had their “Deep Purple” Chip ice cream (165php for 1 scoop, 265php for two scoops and 365php for three scoops). It’s a combination of black raspberry ice cream and white and dark chocolate chips. I initially thought that this will taste like Raspberry Rapture from FIC but it’s not. It’s sweeter and more fruity. It was actually good as the balance of raspberry and chocolate was not intimidating. If you’re in to chocolate and fruit combination, this is a must-try. Serving size was huge. I just had one scoop and I wasn’t able to finish it.

For an additional 60php, my ice cream was served on a very Instagram-worthy cone with lots of chocolate crunches. It was so pretty! But it added to the overall sweetness of the ice cream. This also made it hard to eat. Well, if you’re a fan of outrageous cones, rice crispies and fruit loops, go for it.

They also serve milkshakes, smoothies, and sundaes that I would like to try the soonest!

I'm so happy that we finally have an Emack and Bolio's in the PH!! Finally, a dessert place that isn't too pricey, sells quality desserts and stays open until like midnight! Since this is still new, there's always a line outside but don't worry because it moves quite fast! Also, I feel like the line is long because people are always snapping pics and posting on instastory since the place is decorated so cutesy. Dessert places nowadays are trying so hard with their new concepts and whatever so having some good old ice cream in a fancy cone is refreshing! They are a take out counter basically but there's a bench outside where you can sit and eat your ice cream! Delicious dessert and fantastic service. I would recommend this to everyone! 5/5 128076🏼

Almost all the known American food brands has come to our shores. Emack & Bolios, an origin from Boston is the latest addition. They are a cool and colorful addition to the newest mall in Ortigas, 30th.

Two of my other friends joined me here after seeing their ad in Facebook. This hippie place offers artisanal ice cream and cones, truly an overwhelming combination. A single scoop is hefty, almost a full meal by itself with a high price tag of Php 225.

I picked the Grasshopper Pie, its mint flavor was tame but it had lots of chocolate chips. It was creamy but I found it overly sweet. I had my cone wrapped with sugary coco crunch.

I also got to try others, my favorite Dark Raspberry with Chocolate, its combination was classic good. I was envious I didn’t get this one. It was wrapped with crispy and colorful fruit loops. The last combination we experimented turned out to be most plain, Espresso ice cream with rice crispies. It could be a hit for you if you are an avid coffee drinker.

Emack & Bolio’s could work. Maybe another visit. Right now am hoping they tame down their sugar levels.

Was it messy to eat? VERY. It was all good at first but then it began to get a little drippy. And then it started to get REALLY drippy. It got to the point where melted ice cream was running down our hands and arms and that's when we had to ask for cups. By the time we were finished eating, we felt so dugyot. HAHA. 127846

Was the experience worth it though? Yeah, i would say so! The ice cream was very rich, creamy, and flavorful (i got the birthday cake flavor). And they're pretty generous with the chunks of cake mixed in with the ice cream. Though I'd probably just get a plain cone next time because the one with fruits loops was a little too OA. 128514

Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the prices here are lower than the Emack and Bolio's in HK. 128076

While waiting for some transaction I stopped by at the Ayala Malls the 30th and was craving for something cool and sweet. It was only my second time at this mall and it's been months since I first set foot here, so I had no idea about what's new, what's hot or what's cool LOL.

I opted for the cool part, since it is unseasonably hot today. I saw a new store called Emack & Bolio's and I was drawn by its colorful, hippie artwork on both outside and the interiors. So I checked it out by curiosity and then looked up at the menu as well as their pretty and colorful waffle cones. There was no seating so it's basically a "take-out" ice cream parlor kind of thing.

I asked the crew about their best-selling cones, so the lady at the counter said the ones with the Fruit Loops.

Whenever I want sweets they're usually chocolate- or matcha-based, but this time I wanted to go "fruity".

🔸Two scoops - (₱265). You can choose the same or different ice cream flavors, it's up to you. I had the "Deep Purple" Chip ice cream and Lemon Sorbet to enjoy the different textures. (apart from the different flavors, of course).

⚪"Deep Purple" Chip ice cream - it had a heady combination of berry fruitiness and the dark/white chocolate chips, which were pretty big. It definitely tickled my taste buds! 128156

⚪Lemon Sorbet - in contrast to the Deep Purple Chip ice cream, the Lemon Sorbet was simpler and more straightforward. A classic sorbet no less. Light, sweet, sour, tangy, zesty -- refreshing! 127819

🔸Marsh Mellow waffle cone (with the Fruit Loops) - (₱60)

I didn't expect my ice cream to be this big! I'm glad I didn't order the three scoops like I originally intended. Up to now busog pa rin ako! 128514

The staff was kind to provide me with a cup and a spoon. Kudos to them. 128522

My ₱325 was well spent naman -- the cones alone will make you feel full already -- but I guess I'll reserve that for a special treat or reward next time (or if I go out on a date). Other flavors (such as the one with the name Grasshopper Pie or something) were quite intriguing as well.127846

You can also order one scoop (₱165) or three scoops (₱365). Emack & Bolio's also offers smoothies, shakes and sundaes.
