If you aren't used to good Kuchai-Ah (Duck Empanadas), Eng Bee Tin's version is okay.

A friend of my Mum's gave us a box of regular Kuchai-Ah and in my opinion, they were just much too bland. It probably stems from the fact that they used too much flour in the crust and didn't put enough filling inside. I'm not saying their empanadas are super bad; Just not my favorite.

Their Asado Siopao was really delicious but maybe a half point off because the portions are small for the price. And although I didn't try one, their Hopias have been receiving quite a number of praises from friends and family.

Happy Mid-Autumn festival, everyone!128114🏻

I've never bought mooncakes from EBT before just because mom has her own supplier every season. But the moment I passed by their stall, I got super intrigued with their new flavors -- they have langka, ube, pandan, chocolate and even mixed nuts with ham! How innovative ano?128522 Surprisingly, I enjoyed their modern take on my classic favorite. I loved the smoothness and creaminess of their mooncake's texture plus I can really taste the richness from both the monggo and lotus base.9786️ One of the best there is!
