Every other place was packed when I got to NAIA 3 at 3:45 a.m. But my experience at Illy was a pleasant one.

Luckily, I got a sofa (which was comfy). Initially, it was warm but, as you sit and relax, the space gets cooler. There are available magazines to read and keep one's self occupied while waiting for your flight.

My order arrived in less than five minutes (a cafe latte and a warm butter croissant). The butter croissant was yummy....! Soft and melts in your mouth kind of croissant. No dry and flaky or crusty outer part.... Just the way I like it. :)

Illy coffee is always great. First time I've gotten the latte (I usually get the mocha). Even without sugar, the coffee is good.

Good way to start my morning adventure to Cebu.

Checked in at 6am. Way too friggin early, i need a quick caffeine fix. CBTL and SBC is on the other side. I have lomited options for coffee, decided to try Illy for the first time.

A grande sized cafe latte costs around php 190. A lil steep in my book. The coffee is bold and strong, lacks a little milk in my opinion. Latte is more on the creamy side and fkat white has a very strong coffee flavor. I aint complaining, the coffee is good nevertheless.

The rich flavor of their coffee is reason enough to travel with a full smile.

Had their cappuccino and tuna pandesal before my friend and I headed off to our flight. The cappuccino was okay. It wasn't strong enough for me. Too milky 127868

The tuna pandesal was lacking in tuna. For P120, it wasn't worth it. There was a chunk of cheese inside though which made it a bit okay.

Seems like the only time I get to have Illy coffee these days is when I fly out of NAIA.

I was on the first flight to CDO, and since I'm not very good at going to bed early, I opted to skip sleep instead and get coffee to keep me up.

I got a marocchino caldo aka mocha. It had espresso, hot emulsionated milk and hot sugared chocolate. I enjoyed it, which I tend to do when having Illy coffee. The cozy, red couch made it even more enjoyable as I curled up with a book.

In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I lost track of time and had to run through 4 gates with only 15 minutes left before departure.

Never in my life had I been so glad to hear that my flight has been delayed.128514

I have loved Illy Coffee ever since an ex introduced me to it. But like Segafredo, their coffee is pricey for such a small serving.

I hung out here while waiting for boarding. I got the espresso doppio (Php 150) which is simply a double shot of espresso.

They have some couches and tables but this branch isn't cozy at all, which I think is what a coffee shop should be. It was poorly ventilated. They didn't have any AC, I think they just rely on the airport's central air conditioning.

I didn't notice that Boy Abunda was at the next table (not that I care) until he came up to me and asked where I bought the J.Co doughnuts (Eeerrr...from J.Co?128513).

I almost wanted to tell him to stop his best friend, Krissy, from torturing the entire nation with her sob stories.128513
