We stayed here and the service was not good! The ac in our room was so old and noisy. The fridge had a rotten fruit and when we called in about it, they just got it and didn't apologize. It says they have room service and we tried ordering 30 mins before and they said their kitchen is already closed.

The room is nice and big though.

The place is old and isn't properly maintained. Their selling point are their Santorini rooms. Our room had a balcony and rooftop with great view but the room itself was just too plain for the price. The way toward the Santorini rooms smells bad as well, I don't know where the smell was coming from.

The hotel had a pool, and an outdoor jacuzzi and sauna free for one hour use. Their sauna was okay and functioning well, but their jacuzzi had dirty water and again, it smells bad. They really have to have proper maintenance of their facilities.

Stay in the hotel includes free breakfast (ala carte).

We stayed here for a company event. We thought it's a great place since it's in Tagaytay and it has a view of the Taal lake. I guess, we were wrong. The entrance looks ok but once you get to your room, you'll realize this isn't a nice place to stay or to have an event.

Here's a list of things I don't like about Estancia Hotel:
1. Our rooms are far from our function hall, dining hall and lobby.
2. You need to go down a couple of stairs before you reach any of their rooms and venue hall. This is really not ok for people with a lot of baggages. Also not advisable for the elderly.
3. Their food are disgusting! It lacks taste and it's either over cooked or under cooked.
4. They don't have a complementary bottled water in their rooms. Everything on their fridge is for sale event the mineral water.
5. No wifi in all areas.
6. The place looks like it is not being maintained.

I'm not coming back here nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Estancia Resort
Tagaytay City

What I Love - the amenities. We enjoyed playing billiards and relaxing in their jacuzzi. The surrounding itself is beautiful. They also have a golf cart like vehicle to pick us up from and to our room since we booked their suppose "greekstyle" rooms.

Disappointed:
1. The room looks really cheap compared on what is advertised on booking sites. The TV itself is not even flatscreen and the furnitures looks really old and not well maintained. The bedsheets smells
mold and even the mini ref smells like
mold. The towels are all dirty white and smells like mold too. We were told that our room has the view of the Taal Lake but it was not true. We can only see the back of another room in front of us and a tall pine tree. I should have booked their deluxe rooms instead if i had known. In fact there is nothing special at all about the room 128542

2. Breakfast - it was good but not really something to rave about.

3. We were suppose to use their pool but it was too cold. I thought with the price of their accom. the pool atleast has a heater but I was mistaken so we just satisfied ourselves with the Jacuzzi.

4. The pool area is open for use until certain time at night but when we we got there we had to switch on the lights ourselves. Even the shower rooms are dirty 128542

5. During the day, I noticed a playground beside the pool and I noticed that the area is unsafe for kids. Bangin na sya and yung fencing kahit one year old
makakalusot.

Sorry but I love my room accomodation to be really relaxing since I enjoy flipping on channels at night after a long day tour.

Sayang lng kasi ang ganda ng environment ng resort 128532

This is one of the best places to stay in Tagaytay. It is in a strategic location which is almost at the center of restos and parks. We'll surely come back for another relaxing weekend. 10084

Checked-in last month at Estancia Hotel in Tagaytay for my aunt's wedding day.

Rooms are a little far from the entrance specially where the executive villas are located, this rooms has the best view of Taal though.
(Tip: Don't choose any rooms farther from the lobby and entrance when you have an elder with you. Not a good idea.)
You'd have to take a golf cart just to get to your room, hassle specially at night when you have a lot of things on your hands, like when I got there at around 12 midnight and I have a lot of baggages, only to find out that I have to take a lot of stairs and a lot of walking just to get to our room coz people are already asleep that time and there wouldn't be anyone to drive a cart just to take me to our room. So my brother helped me out though we have both hands loaded and I have to wait for him to come back coz I couldn't walk with such heavy baggages. Was chilly waiting for him out in the open, he came back for me after 5mins or more. 128532128542
That was my experience when I got there but all those soon fade in the morning when I get to see the view and the relaxing ambiance, twas worth it. 128522128077 they have this executive villas (our room), Santorini family villas (picture above) - love it there, thought I was at Greece, the Casitas (bamboo huts) and the De Lux rooms.
Stayed there for 3days, gotta say I loved the food and services there. Would love to stay here again if were going back to Tagaytay. 128522

Standard room is Php5,100 without promo. Not bad for a hotel with a view. Service is okay. Breakfast buffet is okay, although limited in terms of choices and the servers put food on your plate. I still prefer breakfast buffet, complimentary or not, where you really get to choose what to put, and the amount, on your plate (Mind you, I don't eat a lot in one sitting, lol). I like that dry sauna and jacuzzi are free to use (call 1 to 2 hrs to reserve).

They have greek feel / theme to the hotel, ull get that as soon as u get to the entrance and lobby. Suprisingly they have pinoy style nipa hut rooms as well. Quaint! We picked that - the room was okay. Rustic. not sure if im a fan of that. Fair for its price i guess. But still a lot room for improvements. And i was a little pissed they promised a lake view, but all i saw were trees.

Overall the hotel looks nice but my meticulous eye would tell me that they need to tidy up spruce up a bit. We had complimentary use of the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and game room. The jacuzzi looks not that inviting... I like the sauna. The game room was fun they had billiards and pingpong, but after awhile it gets old. They need more games in there.

We had breakfast that came with the check-in. I ordered bacon with egg plus hot choco. A very few choices if u ask me. The bacon was crispy kinda like a bagwang, and i like mine a little soft, but my friend didnt seem to mind. My hot choco was surely a swiss miss mix.

Staff were friendly. Room service was good. Overall i enjoyed my stay, mostly because of the company. Would i come back? Maybe, but jd think id like to explore other hotels in tagaytay naman.
