Trust me, the food here is really delicious! Just ignore the look (and stench) of the place though.. Haha!

Must try: Buttered Chicken and Calamares.
Tip: Don't eat here on Chinese New Year as it would get so crowded and they'd prep your food hastily.

My colleagues invited me to visit Binondo after work on Wednesday. I never explore the city yet so I went with them.

After visiting Binondo Church, we're already hungry and went to this place.

I didn't expect that the place will be literally in "Estero". I thought that was they called it. They kept on telling me that foods here are really good, so I wanna try it.

Unfortunately there's no frogs and crabs need to be ordered in advance. I really want to taste the "fried frog legs"128522

We ordered, pancit canton, calamares, shrimp with tokwa, buttered shrimp, and shanghai fried rice all in medium. They served it fast128077 We didn't wait long, maybe 10mins after we placed our order. In fairness, their foods are tasty and yummy. Quality wise it's good and very affordable.

My first "Estero" experience in Binondo was amazing!12807710084128525

Best cheap thrills! Be ready to rough it up and don't look for healthy dishes.

We always go to LGA. Most of the stalls have an area that has AC but is only available starting 11am.

Our favorites are the Butter Chicken, Stuffed Squid, Garlic Kangkong, and the Yang Chow Fried Rice. Spare ribs and Pancit are also pretty good.

If you're a real foodie and you still haven't tried this humble eatery in Binondo, then you're missing out big time! The place may not please you since it is indeed near an estero but their food is good and cheap too. Your 2k-2500k can actually feed 12-15pax already. It can go as far as 3 different kinds of viand, 2 orders each plus yang chow fried rice. Quite affordable than the usual Chi resto.

Must try:
Buttered Chicken
Spareribs in Garlic Sauce
Frog Legs
Oyster in Tausi Sauce
Beef Broccoli

Go to LGA Fastfood. They serve better.

Tried the foods here as recommended by my cousin. Mostly Chinese since of course this is in Binondo. It was just fine and the food was just ordinary. I just loved their Buttered Chicken thats all.

1/10: I asked boyfie to join me in Binondo for the ultimate Binondo Food Trip and try 10 different restaurants last weekend. I really can't wait to try all the raves I've read from the internet on my own! 128516

• PLACE
- It may not be "that" popular to other because of the location since it's right beside the "estero". It may be unappealing compared to airconditioned restaurants since It's an open type karinderya but I assure you that it offers different authentic Chinese Foods for affordable price.128522128077

• SERVICE
- If you're a type of person whose very particular with the surroundings, then better don't include this one your list. But just to be clear, we had a pleasant stay during our visit. The servers were polite and friendly. As soon as we arrive, they gave us the menu and cook our orders on the spot. 128517

• FOOD AND PRICE
Yang Chow Fried Rice Small (110 pesos) - This small fried rice is good for two. Though we still had a take out after since we don't want to stuff ourselves yet. The fried rice you ordered somewhere is good as this one. I love that they still managed to have that delicious smoky taste of the fried rice. 127834

Beef w/ Broccoli Small (130 pesos) - I loved how they cooked the broccoli. Not tough and not overcooked as well. The beef was cooked perfectly tender too. I'm a saucy type of person and I loved how generous they put sauce on the dish!127795128046

Fried Frog Legs with Garlic Sauce Small (130 pesos) - They say it's a must to order frog legs if you're in Estero. Just like everybody's reaction it actually tastes like fried chicken. The only difference is that, it has lots of bones on it.128056

It was my first time to eat frog legs and masarap naman pala!! I would agree to the many who says that it tastes like chicken. My bestfriend and I ate this while having our usual chismisan, and we didn't even realize that we finished everything already. Anyway, their frog legs come in different flavors, their best sellers are chili frog legs and salt & pepper frog legs. They also have adobo, fried garlic and others which I can't remember. They also sell seafood there. The downside of this fast food is the smell of the Estero. But overall we had a great time and experience at the Estero. 128077

My first Binondo Food Trip experience and my first time to eat Frog Legs. I say, it was quite an experience. It tastes like chicken, only that their meat are smaller.

Estero has a stair case leading to the second floor which houses more seats but are more comfortable to those dining in because its aiconditioned.

Just be very careful with your stuff while dining in. some young boys would approach your table and ask for food or money. While we were eating some boys did it to us and it was scary coz they might just grab your bag and ran off.

I'm not quite happy about the food and place. It's just ok. Our group tried to eat the crispy garlic frog legs. Gosh! It taste like chicken if you won't imagine that it's a frog. But, eeeeek!!!! You can see the "ugat" of the frog that I would not want to eat it anymore. The chopsuey was just ok. The prawns were really small :( the rice was :( boo! Anyway, I can just call it an experience so I'll still give 3 stars. There are a lot of foods to order maybe those are of quality :)
