For my sister's bridal shower, one of her friends got her this yummy caramel cake from Estrel's -- it's the only cake she actually likes. 128517

I love how fluffy their cakes are, and the caramel frosting and filling are all so yummy and not extremely sweet. 128149 Since they are without any added preservatives, it is best to consume the cake on the day it was bought. 128522 I wish it has a longer shelf life though, as I still want to savor the cake for a few days. 128517

One of the best caramel cakes in town. 🤗

It is my personal request to have Estrel's for my Birthday Cake. 10 days ago I asked my niece to order it a day before and pick it up during our Lunch celebration the next day.
I asked for two candles for both me and my twin sister's. She lives in Italy by the way.

Its been years since I first came here. There is a vast changes from the outside look to what used to be a small office inside. They have two Parking Lots for the customers now which compared before they only use the front yard as their Parking.
About the Cake, I enjoyed and loved its color and design. I ordered the 8" Round Cake. 128525

From the outside, Estrel's store front looks like someone's fancy house. Located inside a residential area, Estrel's is gated and in the garage are about 5 cars parked. There's a small gate that's open and when you enter, you'll see a pathway that leads to the actual store. You can also see the second floor when you enter - looks like that's where their bakery is.

Inside you have to get a number from a guard - are you a walk-in customer, picking something up, or ordering something in advance? I imagine this place gets packed if they already have a system set up like this.

I got a walk-in number and was entertained right away. I wanted to get the rectangular cake but it was already out of stock. They only had the 8" round ones available. I was pretty amazed because I was there at 12PM. How was it that the other cakes were already out of stock??

Ordered the 8" round one with filling which cost Php 700. Didn't get to take photos as we all ate it when we got home haha.

The chiffon was very good. Light and fluffy, I can eat just that! The filling inside was a good mix also - I think it was dulce de leche. The icing on top however, did tend to be a bit too sweet for my taste so I left that alone and just ate everything under it.

Overall, it was a good cake. I wouldn't say it's something I'd be stuck in traffic for hours for though.

The price of the cake is a little bit pricey, but it is worth it.

The king of Caramel cake since decades back continues to be the go to cake for birthdays or even just a dessert of choice everyday. It’s too popular that they require you to order days in advance. The line in store is too long you’ll need to take a leave.

I got their cake recently for my birthday, thanks to one of our suppliers. It was the large size and I doubted my staff if they could finish it. It was gone too fast. Its fluffy and light chiffon is their signature. And this is paired with a nice blend of scrumptious caramel.

It’s design is simple yet sophisticated and elegant.

This is my mom’s absolute favorite cake. My brother gave it to her for a present as well.

The sister celebrated her birthday and she specifically requested for Estrel's Caramel cake. 128571 I missed this. The last time I had this as my birthday cake was during my 18th birthday. 128569 It is the same awesome fluffy chiffon cake with the wonderful caramel icing that had just the right sweetness. So delicious! 10084️ Of course this only reminds me that on my upcoming birthday, nobody will buy me a birthday cake and I'll be alone in the island. 128575 Oh well, I'll just enjoy the cake for now. 128569

Was finally able to try Estrel's after my mom's office mates bought her a cake as a late birthday treat. It was huge 128561128561128561 But I guess given the price (which I searched for since I got curious 128518), it shouldn't be any less than huge. Haha

The flowers made me a tad nostalgic as I remembered those birthday cakes from Red Ribbon and Goldilock's that were so popular when I was a kid. The difference is the flowers from Estrel's are likewise huge.

The cake is really light. Sweet but not too much. The caramel had a great consistency. Very smooth. It just had this weird aftertaste tho. Overall, a very good caramel cake. I just prefer Costa Brava's more 128517

Old school beautiful cake. Haven't ordered myself but fortunate to have a slice (or three) whenever friends or family have this for parties. Recently, this Caramel Cake (in photo) was the centerpiece of a Birthday party I attended. It is so nice that they can customize their caramel cakes to the clients specifications for an additional charge. The cake has a bouncy texture unlike other commercial cake shop. The camarel glaze is a smooth touch to the cake that is, surprisingly not cloyingly sweet. Highly recommended. Advance order is advised before pick up.

It was my housemate's birthday a couple of days ago, and man, when I saw the box in the fridge I was smiling. I've been wanting to try this cake since it's very popular and it's only available in QC!

Yay! It didn't disappoint! Not so sweet and just perfect! I am not a fan of icing on cake, but this one is an exception. Happy dance!

Thank you, housemate!

When you know someone special celebrating birthday, you don't want it just ordinary. For me, Estrel's cakes never fail to deliver the job. I have seen Estrel's cake improve-- i mean its facilities. Their cakes have always been one of a kind. It used to have a low end bakeshop, but it was sossy enough... Until it was renovated lately. The place was turned into a mansion. The vestibule was something out from the highlands. They already utilize modern technology for ordering. Their staff looking more professional and they just keep on satisfying customers.

I always order their cakes. Nothing else. Their delivery of satisfaction is right on the spot-- you could try your luck (as i did before) to drop by and make a "get-now" or ready made cake.

Their chiffon cake is always heavenly. So light to the tastebuds. Their caramel or butter icing never seem to be bad for diabetics (although please avoid pa rin) however, it still is a cake, still is not so healthy. Pero this is something sossy and enjoyable.

The cake designs are also elegant. This time i got a 10x14 cake for my dad's birthday. It costs 1400php with filling for a default design. Cost will be higher for more rose designs.

One and only that's why if you go here at QC, get a cake (or at least order for someone special) 128540128077🏼

Two slices of caramel cake from Estrel's is all I need to enjoy the weekend! I decided to make a quick stop before heading to Trinoma to see a friend. I liked that they now have enough stock of caramel cake in slices! Still, I recommend to call them ahead of time to avoid possible disappointment.

They remain consistent with the chiffon's soft texture and the caramel icing being light and creamy. Yum!

Late Post:

Me and my girlfriends ordered this caramel cake for a surprise birthday party for a dear friend last month (she loved it, btw). 128522

As you can see, it's so pretty! 128522128525 Plus, it's huge! 128513

The cake was moist and the sweetness was just about right. 128077 This one's perfect even for diabetics 'cause it's low in sugar.

It's amazing how consistent their cakes are. I've tried it for numerous times already & they are always awesome. 128077 No wonder this place is popular. 128512

I highly recommend it! 128522

A classic. That is how foodies describe Estrel’s, a humble cake shop that was established in 1946. Known for its caramel cakes, it is a go to place when something is to be celebrated. I have tasted its caramel cakes and true enough, it was delectable and a lot better than the other commercial cakes. But I have never tried its Food for the Gods till Jairus d introduced it to me a few weeks back.

Hello, Estrel’s!

I didn’t exactly get to visit the bakeshop but got to sample the famous shop’s Food for the Gods, one of J’s favorite sweets.

A box (PHP300) has ten individually packed Food for the Gods. One pack has about 2.5” x 2.5” of the sweet pastry.

I opened a pack and it was quite oily. But its fragrant smell made me ignore my oily finger tips.

I took a bite and it was love at first bite. It was moist and buttery. I loved the sweet flavor of the dates and the crunch of the walnuts.

It is a perfect dessert to bring to potluck parties or to buy as a present. Since it’s not too sweet, it is also a good gift for dear grandparents.

I can’t wait to get my hands on more! I’ll also try the Sansrival next.
