If you are looking for a healthy dining experience, you would love this place. Eve's Garden is a small garden restaurant in Baguio that serves organic food and open for private lunch only, so you need to call in advance. As this is purely a hobby of Eve, she only entertains max. 2 groups per day. It is a bit of a drive from the city center, about 30 minutes down Naguilian Road. But this brings you to a hillside view overlooking the Benguet mountains. The restaurant is on the street side, and her house is below, as well, as her organic garden. The set meal is P650/head, and consists of a beverage, soup, salad, main course of your choice, coffee and dessert.

I like the freshly squeezed pineapple juice (with lemon, mint and sage, and sweetened with musocovado sugar), which looks like iced tea. The
squash soup garnished with parmesan cheese and youghurt was also delicious. Really nice combination!

But I am partial to the salad platter and main course. While the salad platter consisting of different organic vegetables and, yes, lots of edible flowers, were really fresh and the flowers actually tasted alright, you must love salads to enjoy this dish. The serving was also huge, so I was very full after this. The steamed Norwegian salmon was healthy, yes, but a bit bland even with the caper dressing. It was paired with organic red rice. The presentation though was pretty!

The meal ends with Benguet Coffee and a simple homemade cereal bar dessert, which was a bit anti climatic. I was expecting something more to cap the meal.

Let me just say this is not for everyone, but if healthy eating is your thing, this is heaven for you!

Late post ... A friend brought me to this nice little cozy place around 30 mins drive up some steep & narrow winding road away from the city center .

But the view was lovely so I didn't mind the little bumpy ride plus the fog & cold weather almost makes me feel like we're traversing the hidden path to heaven, I love the cold wind on my face.and the smell of fresh pines.

What's unforgettable in the entire experience was the plate of flower filled salad, it's almost too beautiful to touch & can't believe such beauty can be consumed... It overshadowed the rest of the meal...

We started off with some light & refreshing drinks, tasty & said to be healthy.Soup was next, simple yet filling.. The beautiful flowered salad , the main pork dish was lovely too, portion was just right & so was the little pastry, a perfect sweet ending to capped the wonderful meal. I feel happy, full & clean after 9786️... If I get to eat like this everyday... I'll probably live up to my hundreds 1280799786

The couple who owns the place originally started healthy cooking due to the husband's medical condition , moved here, started their own garden studying medicinal natural herb. later on... People heard and started visiting the place . & so came forth the quaint little garden place up in the clouds ... Definitely a must visit when ur in the City of Pines
