Our blogger group celebrated our New Year party at F1 Hotel Manila. Our celebration begins at F All-Day Dining where we had our lunch buffet along with the rest of the gang. F1 Hotel appointed a new executive chef, and we are honored to meet him.

An award-winning chef, emblazoned with his admirable skills and great knowledge in culinary, is F1 Hotel Manila's new executive chef, Angelo Chubby Timban. Chef Angelo earned his magnificent skills from some of the industry's largest names such as Resorts World Manila, Discovery Suites, Shangri-La Boracay, Traders Hotel, and Manila Pavilion. He now leads all of the hotel's kitchen operations, from F All-Day Dining, Canary Lounge, and to all the banquet and social events. Chef Chubby's amazing skills has bagged him awards such as the golden award for Philippine Culinary Cup 2014 and continued to gain honors in National Food Showdown 2014 as Silver Awardee for Chefs War Regional. The also participated in the World Food Expo from 2003 up to 2010.

Now it's time to try out what the buffet has to offer. Sharing my buffet picks:

The first thing that I noticed was they finally have a sushi bar. This is my favorite section in a buffet aside from the dessert. They also serve salmon and tuna sashimi which were also my favorites.

The Seafood Laksa is also good, the creaminess and spiciness are just right.

Another favorite of mine is the Tempura. I lost count on how much I've had.

The cold cuts and cheese station are also something to enjoy.

As well as the noodles section and have your own DIY noodles.

The Cebu Lechon is a guilty pleasure.

Now onto the mains section, this Beef Tenderloin in Red Wine Sauce is a steak goodness. I love how it's done, the flavor and tenderness.

Another meaty goodness is the Pork Pastrami.

Buttered Vegetables for a high-fiber healthy option.

The Grilled Squid Lumot is so good, I had to go back to get another plate of this. This is a favorite pick for me.

Gochuchang Chicken for those into Korean dishes.

Beef Ribs Adobo done with a twist. Also good.

For dinner, we had our celebration in two of their function halls, and the buffet spread was another thing that I love. Of course, this was still managed by Chef Chubby.

When it comes to desserts, they have a wide variety of choices and I just love it.

The stuffed beef belly is one of the highlights of the carving station and it is paired with a black forest sauce. I thought it would come sweet so I didn't want to try the sauce at first, but Chef Chubby assured me that he made it savory; and man, it was so good! Another favorite of mine is their Aligue Pasta. Too bad I forgot to take photos of our dinner because I was too busy shooting them live on Facebook.

As we had our staycation in F1 Hotel during the holy week, we were able to enjoy the luxury buffet of F1 Hotel. Sharing lunch and breakfast experience at F All Day Dining here.

All Day Dining is known for the buffet's delicious dessert selection. I love the high ceilings, the spacious dining area, comfortable furniture and how the place gives a good view of BGC.

There isn't much for the buffet selection but I have to consider that this was during the holy week, where a bunch of dishes like pork and steak is avoided by the Filipino culture. Their buffet price was also on discount and they had to offer their Lenten menu.

The light buffet had a soup and bread station, salad bar/summer salad. The dessert buffet offered sliced fruits, assorted pastries, and a halo-halo station.

Aside from the buffet, they also offer the main course, ala carte style:

Chicken Kushikatsu with Mango Sauce. Sauteed wing beans, steamed rice.

Burnt Coconut Mahi-Mahi. Kewpie and garlic chili, sauteed wing beans, steamed rice.

Tiger Prawns with Panko Sesame Crust. Sauteed wing beans, steamed rice.

Next up, the breakfast buffet:

This was during Easter Sunday. There were more dishes and drinks to choose from at the buffet. I also like it better early in the morning where all the lights were still on. It had a more luxurious feel. The chef was also kind enough to make us some garlic rice since there was only steamed rice at the buffet. He also offered a DIY omelet where you would choose your ingredients and he'll cook it for you.

They have the usual fare but choices are limited compare to other hotel buffet. Understandably because they're more of a business hotel.

That night main entrée was salmons. Baked, with lemon and cheese encrusted

But, but...I they make it up with...lobster, prawns and baked mussels! 128513

Just the usual fare. I guess they're catering more to expats and not for regular diners. Not much choices.

When I was at F1 Hotel Manila’s F All-Day Dining Restaurant, this thing of beauty caught my eye… Suckling Pig with Dinuguan Rice! Almost everyone went for a beeline to enjoy this incredible dish and was gone in the blink of an eye!

F All-Day Dining Restaurant offerings can please even those with the most discerning palate. From seafood to cold cuts to desserts… this place has you covered!

My favorites were the Baked oysters cooked in butter and garlic! It was oysterrrrrrrfic!

Their dessert station is such an “eye-candy” (pun intended!). Plus they had their very own Cotton-Candy Station! The young ones and the young once were all giddy with excitement. Ah, guilty pleasures!

And then… Dinner was set-up at the Premiere Lounge of F1 Hotel Manila. Our mouths watered as we were greeted by the star of the night — Chef Decker Gokioco’s Rib Eye Roast! Everyone was in 7th heaven!

There were Grilled Pineapple with Herbed Cheese and Rose Peppers, Pig’s Face and Soft Tofu, Butter Garlic Prawns with Lemon Zest, Lollicakes and more. What a treat!

Breakfast buffet: This resto in F1 Hotel serves a wide variety of breakfast choices, from American type - breads, butter, jams, bacons, sausage, hams to Filipino type - dried fish and eggs. The have omelet bar and fruits and salad section too. Juices and brewed coffee is available.

Bacon, their bacon is crisp into perfection. They can never go wrong when they have bacons in their menu, it’s like the star of the buffet, blockbuster choice. If there’s bacon, everything else is good and acceptable. I love mornings with bacon haha. Sausage is okay- average. It’s good that they have a couple of pastries available, you will never run of options.

Staffs: the waiters are all attentive and they all move fast. Haha they are polite and happy. Good service!

Ambiance: They have a small but organize place. They also have a cute space where there’s a giant loop that is transformed as seats/chair. It was the centerpiece on this dining floor. Sorry, I forgot to get a picture of it. Haha

All in all, F1 hotel’s restaurant is a good choice to have your meal 128522

Very tasty breakfast. Started with daing na bangus, corned beef, and chicken tocino. I made the toasted bread with omelette and bacon. Fast service, very accomodating and very nice ambience. Great way to start the day :)
